Finally, I noticed a menu item "events and tasks > find Events" with no shortcuts like Ctrl-F, which I tried. That fixed it.

I use the tab grouping feature a lot. It means that I have 100s of tabs open at any time.
The problem: once a switch between tab groups, the Firefox icon in the task bar changes in what looks like multiple echoes of the Firefox icon. I guess this is supposed to represent several groups of tabs.
Before the 20th of Firefox might click on the Firefox icon in the taskbar, and would come to the top and show the last tab, I worked on Firefox.
Since Firefox 20 a left click on the Firefox icon in the task bar now displays a list of the 28 tab + seemingly random tabs. Many of them said only: "Mozilla Firefox" instead of the site represented by this tab (because the tab has not been accessed recently).
To open Firefox to the last tab, that I worked on is now a real chore. I now have to choose one of these tabs 28 + (which is 99% of the time the tab bad), then switch to the Group of the appropriate tab and then find the tab I've worked on. It usually takes 5-10 clicks to get back to where I was before I've minimized Firefox, or before that Firefox has lost focus. (In the past I could simply click on the Firefox in the taskbar, and restored Firefox icon where I left last.)
How can I disable the list that is displayed when a left click or move the mouse over the Firefox icon in the taskbar? I would like the ability to minimize/restore Firefox by clicking on the Firefox icon in the taskbar, as it was in the past, do not get a choice of random tabs.
I think that I thought about it. Under OPTIONS > OPTIONS > TAB, uncheck the box for "Show glimpses of tab in the Windows task bar" and then click OK

What Microsoft has to do not display a list of folder sizes in the detail view? I want to just see my folders in the list view and know how big each folder is! Is this a lot to ask? Are you (MS) collusion with folder size software companies so that they can sell me something that should simply be in Details view? Is it because it could slow down my experience of 'Windows' that is not so great anyway.
I don't like what MS has to say. This is not a plea (or tip) for them to fix. I bought the CD "The Real Book" which is a html interface that displays PDFs from the CD. However, whenever there is an upgrade to adobe reader, it ceases to display PDF files and only displays a gray page indicating that an adobe plug-in is necessary. How can I fix it? (PDF files are sheet music).

Hello, I recently upgraded to an office update prompted and now the desktop icons no longer appear when I restart the computer. I can click with the right button on the desktop, select display, uncheck 'show descktop', then right click on the desktop again, select "Show the desktop" and they will appear. However, when I restart the computer they will disappear again and I have to re do the process again. I use my desktop icons/shortcuts all the time. Does anyone know how to remedy this?

Right-click in a space of taskbar oprn > select Task Manager > processes tab > right-click on explorer.exe > click on end process > Applications tab > click New task... > of Opeb, enter explorer.exe > OK when.
You check office. There the icons? If so, reboot, still exist the icons?
If the foregoing does nopt working, do a system restore.
Choose a date where you did not have this problem as your restore point.

Not in ipHoto, but if you export the non modified original and then open with preview the Inspector will display numeric values assuming that they are in the EXIF data

How to remove or clean the server taken out of service/absence list
In the "Server" application, whenever it is launched, it displays a list of servers that have either been downgraded or does not exist (eg..) (local).
Is there a way to clean this list?
Quit the application server, and then open the XML file
~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.Server.v4.plist
with a text editor like BBEdit/TextWrangler or with nano in the Terminal. (the file is always named v4 - even if your.app is v5.x)
In this file, you will find a beginning of area with the key 'recent servers"followed by a table, then a dict for all servers in your list.
Just remove all the areas of the dict to the servers that you want to remove from your list (including < dict > < / dict >), save the file, launch the.app again and there you go.
The other alternative is, you just rename or delete the file and start from scratch.

After downloading windows 10 to my laptop last week surprise, I can't scan from this upgrade and get the message that the scan to the computer is no longer available. I tried different routes to make it work again in settings, but I can't get the article that will allow me to choose scan of the computer. I also seem to have something in 10 called windows webscan, I can't activate it either. Any ideas how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
I'm sorry it doesn't - there are perhaps other issues (HP or Microsoft drivers and software) preventing to install printing software and works as expected.

- Leave the router (in condition off the coast) a few minutes > bootstrap router > wait a minute >

Control Panel > display icon > user accounts <> change user accounts control settings

Microsoft takes me in a big circle, when I try to download Photo Story 3. After that I selected to download, I am taken to a screen where I need to validate my windows. So I have to download a program that is supposed to work on my PC to validate my windows. When I run the validation program, I get a message that this version of the program is no longer supported.

I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.(a) restart the computer.(b) before windows logo appears, press F8repeatedly.(c) in the Advanced startup option, select Safe Mode.(d) log in to Windows with an administrator account.(e) click Start , and then click on work station.
(f) in the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
(g) in the tab view, uncheck the option to use a simple file (recommended) sharing the bottom of the list.
(h) click OK.(i) click on the tab display.(j) slot hidden files and folders, put the check mark for display the hidden files and folders.(k) click to clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box, and then click on OK.
(l) we will find the nameddata.dat file in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users Application data authentic

When I open a pdf file in photoshop, it automatically contrast my document. I can't open it so I can see the real colors and contrast like I do in other applications. Does anyone have an idea, what's the problem here?

You could achieve this by having a very nice which is visible to the user, and then a script customized to the vCO which maps the friendly name for the real name of the data store and fills in the custom property for storage. It's a bit of a pain to do this way, but it will give you the functionality you want.
