  No, as far as I know it of not possible to use a port on laptops Satellite Pro Replicator.
  All laptops that support the Port Replicator has a port extension at the bottom of the unit.
  To my knowledge, the Satellite Pro series don t have this port.
  For now only the Tecra and some units Protégé(ie: S100) supports this feature.

  I am trying to record a stereo sound from an external source on my Satellite Pro 4600.
  I read in the manual of the only way to enter the stereo signal from other sources (e.g., external CD player) is through card Station IV as the laptop itself has only monaural audio input jack.
  Is it possible to record stereo sound from external source without having to invest in the Station IV card?
  Or if not, is there any software that can convert the stereo, mono signal?

  In my opinion you can do this only if you use an external device to the audio transfer stereo. In combination with the right software, you can save, for example, old records and put music in digital format.

  Had the same problem. I reviewed the Microsoft forum. We need to plug the power adapter into the dock Surface Pro 3 It will not work by the Surface Pro 3 battery alone. Solved my problem. It would be nice if I could use the dock as well mini display port and the port of the display at the same time surface. Did not work. If you have had the branch dock and still no problem, then MS noted for updating with the surface in the dock.

Please update your video display drivers and start over. "I have tried the solutions on the page support and several I found on the internet. I tried completely uninstalling Quicktime as well and it recharged. It still crashes. I have my original CS6 on my computer as well and it does not crash. All great ideas?

  It turns out that the problem was (kinda sorta) display drivers. The index was the stall at ImporterQuickTime.prm followed by the error screen that refers to the inability to find a suitable driver. Many years ago I tested the JAWS software for I can have a better understanding of what vision hearing person with a disability during the analysis of a website accessible. I've never bothered to remove this software. When I checked my devices on Windows drivers, I discovered that I had a virtual mirror of Freedom Scientific (the creators of JAWS) driver. After you remove the software and driver, I was able to open the first Pro CC normally, even after repeated tests and restarting my computer. It worked perfectly every time.

  Regarding my previous success (and shortly after failure), I'm still distraught as to why it worked, even temporarily.

  It is a cause of the moat of the failure and the fix probably will not help everyone.

I have connected to the screen "USB port, closed down the internal screen MacBook... magic happened... keyboard poped office to the top of the screen external AND external full resolution was working properly..." Unfortunately only for 1-2 minutes, then the layout changed back irreversible in a layout resembling the layout if I would press "alt". Only way I could "resolve" to disconnect the keyboard USB plug and then plug again... but after 1-2 minutes did the same thing...

  I tried to plug the USB plug into the MacBook Pro directly, but the same thing happened...

  I am so unhappy that I can't use correctly the full length external Apple keyboard, large... Any hint/resolution?

  As far as I KNOW, the serial number of the MacBook does not have the serial number of the processor.

  It depends on this kind of filmmaking. Model 15-inch more expensive is the only one with an independent graphics card and will be able to manage better than all other models rendering tasks. If your movie is CGI intensive, you can consider the 15-inch model. If your film is essentially practical, 13 inches could possibly do with simplest post-editing and CGI, but may take longer.
