The upgrade policy for future Creative Suite products

Sorry if this topic elsewhere. Adobe Announces what policy will be in place when CS7 and 8 are available? Will we be a dos version to take advantage of price upgrade or they will be able to upgrade 2 back versions? I'm struggling to follow the path of subscription or to ignore CS6 and wait CS7 to upgrade or not.

It became very clear that the upgrade of the perpetual licenses will be permitted to a dos version. CS6 was supposed to be like that, but Adobe gave up and returned to two versions to give users time to adapt to it. You will get til 12/31/12 upgrade to

CS6 if you have CS3 or CS4.
