The upgrade Vista Home Premium Vista business or Enterprise 7

I need to find the official Microsoft site info in order to give the owner of the company who is eager to upgrade laptop his wife of Vista Home Premium, Vista business or Windows 7 Enterprise so that the laptop's desktop remotely allowing access to his computer inside his office.
Preferably this update must be done without having to back up the data, format the hard drive and restore data and applications.
I already know that the best method of upgrade would require reformatting and reinstalling all data, but it does not do this option.  Instead, he wants to official Microsoft information that it can display on their website about upgrade options that would give computer remote desktop laptop while still demanding not not formatting the hard drive.

I just bought the Windows 7 Home Premium. Am I eligible for an upgrade to Windows 8 when it is available?

Yes.  More likely you qualify for level to Windows 8 If you had Windows 7 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, are all eligible to upgrade.)  Just OS level determines what you will be able to keep for an upgrade).

If you're not confused: is eligible for the upgrade does not have any kind of discount because you just bought Windows 7, unless this purchase of Windows 7 came with a new computer?

I was wondering if I could download the Windows 7 Home Premium on a dvd - r disc and use it to start my computer buddies back up? Its Windows XP crashed on him the other night. Can someone help me please? Thank you.

It is not possible to download Windows 7 on a DVD. If you want to install Windows 7 on the computer, you must purchase a Microsoft installation disc.

You would think that a Microsoft Support engineer would know what is available in the Microsoft store.  But maybe not.

If your b/f to upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7, you can buy Windows 7 directly from Microsoft and download.  You can download an ISO file which can be burned to a DVD if you have a software that can make this engraving.  Of course, with your b / f machine works do not, you will not be able to use Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to determine if your computer is capable of running Windows 7.

If I misread one of Microsoft stores information, you can also get a file ISO downloadable here (though of course, you need to purchase a license from Microsoft): http://techpp.com/2009/11/11/download-windows-7-iso-official-direct-download-links/

    In the FAQ:

    THE FORMAT OF ISO DOWNLOAD

For different products, you can download your software as an ISO file, which is a single file that contains all the files Setup for your application. Download your software as an ISO file makes backup of your files on a DVD or a USB storage device that is easy.

NOTE: If you use Windows 7, we provide the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool that lets you create a backup of your Windows 7 software using the ISO file.

Buy and download Windows 7 from the Microsoft Store as an ISO file and copy it to a USB flash drive. If you need start, or boot, your PC during the installation of Windows 7 (for example, if you want to format your hard disk during the installation), you can download Windows 7 in a special format called an ISO file and use the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a USB key, which you can then use it to install Windows 7 on your netbook

  • On the Windows 7 Home Premium product key

    Hi, I'm America Reef

I am just concerned about the Windows 7 Home Premium product key,

"You see I wanted to do a new Installation of Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop, my neighbor had a copy of the OS installation disc, but I don't know it would be illegal to install it on my computer because it is already used or installed, as well as Microsoft only limit to a" a computer, an Installation "policy.

Is the Question that I would ask, if I'm using Installation disc for Windows 7 Home Premium my neighbor and it has its own product key, but I already had my own product key which is authentic, because it came with my before buying computer, think you that I have to use my OWN KEY or PRODUCT KEY TO THE installation DISK which I borrowed a neighbour of mine?

ALWAYS use the key that belongs with the machine being installed.

    Hello Jack

I imagine that you have these problems, because a few months ago, I read an interesting article on this update and it was written on possible problems after the upgrade procedure. I installed a few times Ultimate on my A200 but as new installation.

What you can try is to install the OS by using recovery media, delete all the stuff designed by Toshiba, including all other software like Norton. After doing this upgrade brand.

When the upgrade is complete, install all the stuff of Toshiba order following facilities described in the instructions for Installations. I A200 with Vista Home Premium but I don't have a media Anytime upgrade and cannot test with my Satellite.

I am computer illiterate, where the help required

Vista Home Premium to Vista Business is NOT an upgrade path.

You will need to purchase a FULL version / license of Vista professional and do a clean install of it.

How to do a clean install:

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Hey isayuh

There is no sites for free and legal download for vista

Once installed, you can not change the version of vista by changing a product key

you need to reinstall vista correctly

    you get your Toshiba drivers

Click on the download tab in the link and enter your model number

    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp

I suggest you contact toshiba on the recovery options:

and ask them to send you vista recovery discs

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

  • HBasic upgrade Vista business on Satellite A200

    Merry Christmas everyone!

I have the problem and I need your advice please. I am the owner of a portable Satellite A200-1CR that accompanies this with Vista Home Basic recovery disk. Thanks to the MSDNAA, I acquired a DVD with Windows Vista business, but the upgrade option does not work! After I had lunch the autostart DVD and after entering the CD - key, I get a screen with two options: install or upgrade to Vista Business, but the update option is grey and inactive.

I upgraded a Windows family Basic Business Edition once on a laptop (Fuijtsu Simens) different. WHY I CAN'T DO NOW, ON THIS THOSIBA SATELLITE?

    Help, please.

To be honest, these updates is unknown to me but maybe you have to install a clean version of Vista professional. Not only an update.
You have the option to do so? Toshiba offers all the tools of drivers and utilities for Vista.

Sorry, but I don't think someone can help you. If you need assistance directly contact those responsible for the MSDN Academic Alliance.

  • Upgraded Vista Business OEM for Vista Ultimate w/o a clean install?

Have Vista Business OEM on my Fujitsu tablet.  As said Fujitsu Tablet does not Win 7, I bought a Ultimate Upgrade from Amazon.  Everytime I try to upgrade, it tells me that I have to clean install because my version is too old for a upgrade path.  Too OLD?  What the devil?  Everything I read says that it must be a version of vista. I have read nothing that requires that the software that I have not "too old".  I don't say anything that he cannot be an OEM, either.  Just a version of Vista (legitimate copy is deducted). How can I get around this non sequitar?

  • The benefits of the Windows 7 Home Premium to Professional Upgrade will be lost to the new Windows 8 Upgrade?

I ordered the 7 Home Premium to Professional Upgrade when I ordered my new HP computer, I picked up today. (for which I paid $65,00)
It also suggested me the upgrade of Windows 8 when it comes out @ 15.00.
If I lose all the benefits of the first upgrade to install Windows 8, I want to go back to the first upgrade unopened.
They allow only a few days to do this.
    Thanks for your help

The base provided with your computer (Windows 7 Home Premium) license will already be a license of qualification. An Express (Windows 7 Home Premium to professional) upgrade may not be an eligible license because its an upgrade. To use the Windows Pro 8 upgrade, the base provided with the computer license will be it.

So, Yes, you could return the Anytime Upgrade If you wish.
