  Needs of all your users is the Flash player. There is either a supplement to the Firefox browser or an ActiveX control (I think) for Internet Exploder.

  Assuming that all look to a server location, the fact that others see no question is indicative that all files are in place. The player would be the only thing that comes to mind.

  This is probably because ENR1 isn't any table named ATHLETES and he did not qualify the name of the table with the schema name...

  By default, after clicking on catalog users see two folders: my files and folders shared.

  I want to create a third - "new folder."

  So I logged as administrator, went to catalog, then Admin View, then I created my new file just under the root of the catalog gave its permissions (did the same permissions as shared folders). But when I'm chaning to the user that I do not see this new folder.

  I also want to add that when I created a new folder under 'Shared files' or 'My files', the user can see normally. Simply, they do not see the folder under the root of the catalog.

  Users can use a folder directly under \root... so you need to create these files in \root\shared

• Windows 7 cannot install the drivers for my USB devices.

• Other homegroup users cannot see the pictures on Windows Photo 8.1 app

  We have a new desktop computer with Windows 8.1 and have trouble getting both me (Administrator) and my husband (another user PC) see all photos in all photo sharing folders. I read all the other assignments. I've restored the library of images with and without pictures, worked both file manager and control panel to verify that all the State say shared and two of us are included in the homegroup.  Libraries appear as files in the home group, but on the side admin (my own) photos of my husband picture library are only pictures in his personal file of photo. My two files contain only the ones I'm trying to make him see.

  However, when I view the photos on his side or my app, I don't see is our personal photos and not the other. I don't want to copy the pictures in each of our own files that we both should be able to change and move images. All images must be shared and edited and stored in a spot on the disk.

  Troubleshooting-oth sides indicate that everything goes well on both sides. Please help me shoot hard.

The first time that you connect to a network, you can ask if you want to find computers, devices and content on the network and automatically connect to devices such as printers and TVs. turn on this parameter prepares your PC to share files and devices on a network. It automatically sets the firewall and security settings appropriate for the type of network to which you connected. You can disable this option at any time.

  I have windows vista for my PC and I noticed that most of the time when I remove a usb device, the computer is unresponsive and crashes on me shortly after. And I won't have any choice but to cut the main power supply if the computer shuts down. I know that this cannot continue and will eventually damage the computer.   It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

  I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check.

  To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

• No Notification sound when the connection/disconnection of USB device

  I am running Windows 7 on a separate partition on a 2011 MacBook Pro (installed via Boot Camp).

  This laptop has two USB ports on the left side.

  If I connect/disconnect a USB device to the port more back, I get the notification sound as usual.

  However, if I log out these same devices to the port further there is no notification even if the devices are recognized & seem to work fine.

  Can anyone tell how to enable notification of this port please?

  The sound scheme has already been set to "Windows default", but just for good measure, I changed it but it made no difference.

  As mentioned be notified when you use one of the ports USB, but not the other.

  I posted this in an Apple forum & other users of this machine & installation are reporting the issue even if it seems to be a generic hardware problem & not just something on my own system.

• XPS 8300 cannot see USB 3.0 card

  "Late 2010" Dell card mother 0Y2MRG, Bios A06. New installation of Windows 7, all updates applied. Latest chipset drivers.

  I tried 2 different cards USB 3.0 PCIe with the same result. There is no indication in Device Manager. No question mark or exclamation points. Just don't register. Cannot install drivers because there is no device. Tried different slots, same result. BIOS has limited options, and none seem to solve anything in this regard. Anyone who encountered this? It seems that many XPS 8300 users have installed the USB 3.0 card. I've only met one or two references to this problem without solution listed.

  I solved the problem. I used a card specified as PCIe 2.0 with a NEC (Renesas) chip. I have installed the drivers first, plugged the card in a rejoiced when I saw set up a new device after Windows starts. Works very well. No conflicts. Installation went exactly as you would expect any PCIe card. 3 USB devices operate normally and one obviously higher speed than USB 2. I have not tested officially yet.

  Apparently the Dell motherboard is picky. I don't know if the question was specific 2.0 PCIe or if he liked the NEC chip. Or both.
