  You can check the file SharedServices_Security_Client.log you can find it under the directory utility LCM or in the temp directory (% TEMP % or/var/tmp or/var/temp). Do you think that any subset of the users/groups/roles that you intend to import, or you do not see one any of them? If this log file does not help reduce the problem, you can change the Debug logging level in the user interface of shared Security Services and restart the Shared Services and then restart the import.

• How will I know where all the reports of users has access

  We use the Hyperion Financial Reporting 9.3.1 & we have 80 reports & 750 users. How will I know where all the reports of users has access. Where can I find this information. I checked the SSP, it only shows the provisioing details, but not the name of the report. I also checked the Essbase.sec but no use. Where can I get the info. Kindly help me.

  There is no tool of Hyperion to display easily groups and security filters.

  But it really depends on how you set up your security model.

  Normally, you add users into groups and assign these groups to essbase and reports (via the BEEP groups) cubes, so you can check reports have access to correct group and the users are in a good group.

  Just check inside the DBA_TAB_PRIVS data dictionary you can get the details.

• Unable to find the package in the connections even if the user has access to DBA_OBJECTS and DBA_SOURCE

  Hello

  We have a user with access to the DBA_SOURCE database and DBA_OBJECTS.

  I am able to select both DBA_OBJECTS and DBA_SOURCE.

  But when I try to look for any package or the procedure I am not able to see the packages and procedures in the Connections window.

  With the help of TOAD, the database user is able to view packages and procedures.

  Is there a workaround for SQL Developer? If this is not the case, a request for improvement can be saved?

• If I have two PCs used by my family, one user profile can be applied to more than one PC, followed by the cumulative on both computers use if the user has access and time restrictions?

  I wish that the user profile settings to apply to both Windows 8 computers.  Thus, if a sign of user in a PC for 2 hours and their allotted time has been used for the day, I want to assure that they are unable to connect to the other PC without asking for more time.  The same applies to time restricted access, Web sites, etc...   My computer crashed and I had to run the recovery disk, the repair option, so he could run again. It does not format my computer but I had to re - install several programs.   I would like to just say thank you for your help and the problem is now solved.  In the end I paid someone to sort it out.  He explained that it was something like permissions for some of my files were owned by my old operating system and after that my computer crashed and I had to put through the recovery disc these permissions have been lost.  He told me that he had a program that looked for the old existing and re-installed.

• The folders appear in the catalog, but unable to see the photos in folders after a certain folder

  System: Windows 7, 32 Bit Core2Duo w / 2 GB of Ram, LightRoom 5.5 connected to a Nikon D5200 for captive capture & review only.  Currently, we have records of 1727 and 5530 photos in the catalog.

  We use this system to take images of product for a Web site, and the images are stored on a mapped drive file server.   Today trying to examine some of the most recent photos would not select file/open the pictures (but you could see the first image in the file in the preview window).   I was running LR 5.3 so I upgraded to 5.5 to see if that would solve the problem but it didn't.   I am able to see the pictures if I click on the root folder and it works as expected.

  Folders/old photos that they function as they should him, but everything made after Monday did not work. (Monday is also be the last day was made a backup of the catalog).   When I return to the Monday backup all the files/images work.  When I try to import the missing files/images in the Monday backup, I have the same problem at the same point.  I have tried to create a new catalog from scratch and I have the same problem, however the "break point" (where I see is no longer records) changed a file earlier [in the series].

  I can browse the mapped network drive and see all the folders/photos without problem.  I also tried to synchronize folders and optimize the catalog, but none had any effect.

  I hit some kind of folder limit?  I read there was no 'hard' mail file/folder limit, but with the way it is, it's almost as if I found a hidden folder limit.

  It's rare to have that many records, so I think it's a limit to the size of the user interface on Windows.
