• Unable to get the TV Guide on the media library

  Qosmio F20-136 running Tv on media library, installation guide ads, post code, internet connection.

  Connectivity doctor software said software on the laptop connected without problems.

  It would seem that MCE automatically "turns off" the guide function if it is impossible to get data for it in the first search on the Internet, and therefore the option 'Add list to the channels' is not available.

  A little known solution for this is to temporarily disable your Internet connection (or just unplug the PC), then tell him you want to use "manual download" for the guide, enter a zip code, let him try and search the Internet guide, eventually you will notify that it has not and will ask you "do you want to retry? Say 'No' to that.

  You will find that the guide is now "on" despite the failure and the option 'List add to the channels' magically becomes available. He will stay on because now EPGRunner, etc. has been able to provide the data successfully to MCE guide function (you still need to exit and restart the MCE interface to see the EPG data).

  You can also reconnect your Internet connection again, btw. :)

• HP graphic calculator first: first RPN - battery display of items not in compliance with the User Guide

  In the HP User Guide first, in the section on page 48 RPN, the image shows the battery watch algebraic views of right which was calculated on the left side of the line battery, with responses on the side of each line in the stack.  When I do the same calculations, I only get responses from the right side.

  Is there a parameter that represents the lines of battery as in the user's Guide?  I can't find it if it's there.

  The guide I think you are referring is the guide of July 2013.  These pictures no longer exist in new versions of the user guide.

  I haven't met a setting that causes the behavior used in these pictures.

  The TV guide stopped working for a week now. Internet connection is ok. Is it gone forever?

  Hey guys, I was wondering when do you think the Ipod 7th generation going? I did some research and it is said most probably in June/July 2017. I got an Ipod touch 6th generation last summer and tracks warranty in July this year, while I was planning to sell in July and to buy a new Ipod touch 6th generation and then next year in 2017, I can sell the Ipod touch 6th generation and buy the Ipod 7th generation. You think it's a good plan because I want to buy new gadgets to replace the 'old'? Also, here's what I think than the Ipod 7th generation should include:

  • Contact ID
  • Better graphics
  • More colors
  • Make bigger in size and lighter
  • More great flashlight like the 5s
  • It should be able to put a SIM in there so we could use WhatsApp on it
  • Do a charger like the Samsung galaxy S6 Edge so we just put the Ipod on the stand of little and it starts to load.

  If everyone loves these ideas please tell me. If a member of the staff of Apple sees this please consider

• Windows 7 Media Center will not download the new guide listings

  Hello

  I am really frustrated. WMC will not download the new guide listings and I tried all the patches that are supposed to be that I found in this forum. I also tried the system restore, which did not fix the problem. Obviously the problem is not affected by the restore program.

  I was able to determine that there is some kind of corruption of the WMC files that Windows 7 can not solve (according to the event log).

  I'm a bit exasperated at the tenacity of this problem. Y at - it a reliable fix or I need to reinstall Windows 7?

  You may be able to force a manual update. Do an update (weekly) to TV Guide through the menu system.

  You should have a warranty of 1 year with this printer. Call the support of Lexmark. Microsoft doesn't sell printers.

• Cannot download the user guide or the software from the Linksys site.

  I am trying to get the user guide and the firmware on the linksys site and get "file not found".

  In fact, almost all of the links does this!

  Browser is Firefox (last) in a XP box.

  Tried chat (what a joke!) and after 30 minutes they told me that my device was 'out of support' and gave me a link to the site I was already on. After trying this link (just for completeness) and get the same "file not found", they guy says the site does not Ant to try later.

  Tried this morning with exactly the same results.

  Someone has ideas of what's going on here?

  Is there someone out there who has a downloaded User Guide?  I found it online, but it has a lot of links.  We bought a floor model and the manual was not in the box.  If you can and are willing to help with PDF txt I sure would appreciate it.

• Windows 7 Media Center very slow to load the program guide

  I run a Fujitsu Esprimo E3521 Core 2 Duo 2.93GHz with 2 GB of Ram. I use a dual DVB - T2 tuner card black gold. The PC works as expected with all other tasks (Netflix, iPlayer, MyMovies for Media Center), but when I first load the program guide, it takes more than 30 seconds before the system displays the guide and becomes sensitive (later loading times are a little faster, unless the PC is in "standby", in which case I face the same deadline when you enter the program guide). There is no other applications running on the system (the PC directly in the MC boots). Once the guide is loaded, it works at normal speed (sometimes channel tuning may take longer than expected, but usually he settles in a few seconds).

  I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate. Recently, I reinstalled the operating system and for a few days the PC seems to be running OK, but he soon return to be incredibly slow, loading guide. (I also started to notice that it takes longer time to start playback of recorded assets).

  Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

  The information in the Guide is periodically downloaded from the Internet from your Guide list service provider. You are notified that "no data is available" in the Guide in the case either of the following things:

  • Windows Media Center cannot connect to the Internet and download the new Guide information for a long period of time, and the Guide information that was previously downloaded is corrupt or has expired. For more information, see solving problems with an Internet connection. (Applicable for Windows 7 alos article)
  • Guide information is not available for your location from the lists Guide service provider. For more information, see download updated Guide listings. (Applicable for Windows 7 alos article)

• Windows Media Center has stopped updating the lists Guide for Windows 7

  Windows 10 will go out the next Wednesday July 29, 2015. I have Windows 7 and I have technical problems with the Guide in Windows Media Center lists. This isn't updated Guide lists and I wonder if this problem is related to the upgrade of Windows 10?

  I called a technician to answer Microsoft desktop and the technician fixed my computer errors. Unfortunately, he could not fix this problem. Even though I always reset and auto update of listings in the Guide, the result will prove be the same with "no data."

  Windows Media Center has given me many error messages:

  "Windows Media Center has corrected a problem with your registration data and will download the Guide even once. You should review your records to make sure they are always planned properly. »

  Failed to download

  "The new TV configuration data could not be downloaded. Existing data, if any, will be used as you continue by configuring the TV signal. »

  Downloadable guide is not available

  "Downloadable TV Program Guide listings are not available due to previous failures of download. For more information, right-click on the Windows Media Center system tray icon and open Windows Media Center update log. Select back to try again. You may be able to get the TV show lists, if they are available. »

  Guide download error

  "The Guide could not be downloaded. For more information, then Windows Media Center system tray icon right-click and open Windows Media Center update log. »

  I can watch TV on the computer using Windows Media Center and manually record TV shows, but it is difficult for me to record TV shows without ads Guide on Windows Media Center.

  The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) for Windows Media Center Guide ads was already programmed by zap2it until July 21. After July 21, zap2it is no longer can update the lists Guide for Windows Media Center.

  On the other hand, is - can anyone say with certainty that WMC is available on Windows 10? No charge for the upgrade to Windows 7?

  The way I see it, not providing the function of key in W7 WMC guide is motivation upgrading to W10, assuming that WMC is available.

  Hopefully Microsoft will give us the fix for WMC in W7.

• Is it safe to use the same GUID to validate a global event?

However, I'm wondering whether or not it is a good idea to always use the same GUID, or if I should generate a new to each one time? If I generate a new one every time, I don't know how I can have the control of the main application to see what GUID to search, as it would be generated in the library project...

  I think that if the events then report the amount of the fine to use the same GUID with different arguments.
