• Stereo does not read the Sansa Clip after firmware update

  I upgraded to the last 2.01.35a of the previous 32.

  Before that, my channel stereo would connect to the Clip and play songs using the USB connection, I can use the remote to change songs, now with the new update of the firmware it does not read the content of the Clip.  Clip said 'Connected', but the stereo repeat me 'Reading' forever.

  I've updated the firmware to unofficial http://mirwifi.org/download/fw/WRT160NL/wrt160nl-0.1.3-pre5.bin and since then I can not connect to the router through the web interface. What can I do?   The router's default IP address is 192.168.1.1. Try to ping the IP address of the router and check if you get answers from the router.

  Open the Internet browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.1. See if you can open the router configuration page.

  If this does not work then you can try to update the official firmware on the router using the TFTP.exe file.

  Disable the firewall on your computer. Connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable.

  (1) download the official firmware file from the site Web of Linksys router. Save it to your computer.

  (2) download the tftp site Web of Linksys. Follow this link to search for the file tftp. You'll find downloads for router BEFW11S4. Select the version 3.2 hardware and download the installation wizard. Save it to your computer.

  I'm updating my WRT54GL v1.1 firmware.  I downloaded a file called FW_WRT54GL_4.30.13.016_US_EN_code.zip, which I unzipped to produce a file with a .bin extension.  I use the web interface to update the firmware with the .bin file and get the error message "upgrade are failed" very late in the process of upgrading.  I tried to reset the router by pressing the reset for 30 seconds button, but it does not help.  I use Safari on a Macbook Pro under Snow Leopard 10.6.2.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Try to use different browser and check... If possible try to use Internet Explorer.

  Am myself a brand new Mac Pro recently and I'm loving it. Hooked up to my old TB screen which is unused to cause a few months the all-in-one cable is broken. Not much, I bought a cable TB, and used only to plug it in and it works fine.

  That is, until I went in the App Store and noticed a firmware update for display among all other system updated. I do not think that anything of it in time and just continued to download and install all updates in bulk.   We bought 5 of these laptops for our Engineering Department and I was against a tight schedule to get them deployed (the next day). I started working on obtaining a set of installation with the necessary software and then I just want to clone one for the other 5.

  I did a clean install of Windows 10 and installed all the drivers from the HP site. Then I ran Windows updates until everything is up-to-date. I disabled Windows Defender. Now all that remained was update the firmware BIOS, Intel ME and Thunderbolt using the downloaded utilities since the page drivers. The BIOS installed fine, but it's a really weird update process. Due to the beeps and lights blink during his work. There is no progress bar to let you know if she is doing anything. At some point, as the beeping stop but it's still really work. Then he starts and updates another part of the system and so on. Anyway, that everything worked fine. No problem with the update and Windows 10.

  So I ran the update of the Firmware of Thunderbolt and open up a command window saying that it couldn't find the controller. It looks like not there nothing after that point and just closed.

  I asked the support agent if they knew why it happened, but they did not know.

  So, I got 4 portable more to work with. I took off the dead laptop SSD and put a charge in a brand new out of the box. Started by and on the desktop Windows 10. This laptop had BIOS v1.03 on this subject so I ran the BIOS updated and rebooted. All right. At this stage I myself asked to perform other upgrades of the firmware or not. I thought that I had a 50/50 chance and I'm the kind of person that simply be whether it was a fluke or if there really was something seriously wrong with the update of the Intel ME firmware. He ran while first instead of love at first sight to date. Update Intel did ME the same thing before, opened a window to order, checked and then flashed... and after a reboot I got another laptop dead.

  At this point, I shook my head and frowned, looking at the HP logo.

  The Intel ME firmware update released on download of HP ZBook Studio G3 section was not compatible with these laptops and caused the laptop no longer starts.   Those who had run the update of the bad firmware and their laptop brick had to call the HP technical support to schedule a replacement motherboard on the spot.

  I just download the Sansa firmware update, and when I go to run it, an error message appears saying "the Installation failed. Please try again later. "I started again and received the same error message. Then I waited about 30 min. and sure enough, same error message. What I'm doing wrong!

  Some of the improvements will work and others cannot.  It is unfortunate but it is like that between Vista and Windows 7.

• P1102w firmware update for XP required

  It seems that the P1102w needs a firmware update to run via Apple's AirPrint with several iPads & iPhones the rest of my family use.

  (Don't know why HP can't provide a new printer with the current version of firmare which is expired less than 18 months, but who can fathom the means of Silicon Valley?)

  So, will someone please tell me how to upgrade firmware ASAP?

  I don't see anywhere any software development of firmware for XP on the HPs support Web site.

  My PC is runnning Windows XP 32.

  There is a document containing instructions to update the firmware of the P1102w.  The document can be accessed here.

  The document advises one to download the update of the firmware from the downloads page, but none are listed.  However, I could find the update through the update of the firmware of laserjet webpage.

• Can NOT see the data store after ESXi update host?

  We use the host ESXi 3.5 on DELL PE 2850 with RAID 5 local storage.  Today, I ran utility update for the host VMware and firmware updated BIOS and RAID on the host computer before a restart of the system.  After the reboot, the system correctly loads the operating system and when I check for storage, the data (with critical VM) store is missing.  Can not see that again.

  Please help me to recover my data with the virtual machines in her store.

  ESXi is installed on the same Partition RAID 5, which is located in the VMFS data store? for example. do you know that the partition is still intact?

  According to what the RAID firmware upgrade has done, it is possible that you may need to set the LVM. EnableResignature option 1 if the score ended with a new UUID.

  I've just updated my timecapsule 1 TB of first generation version 7.6.7 and my 3 TB timecapsule new version 7.7.7

  Both are connected to the router of the provider of Internet services and extend the network even in my house.

  Well, since nobody seems to have an explanation, and Apple are not out with firmware update after 7.7.7 and 7.6.7 I decided to downgrade the firmware to the previous version. I now run version 7.7.3 on the new 3 Tb Time Capsule and 7.6.3 on the 1st Gen Time Capsule. So far, the network is stable. Using WiFi Explorer Ii see that they use channel 6 and 8 respectively. Signal is strong and no dropouts have taken place so far. Hope the issue is resolved in the next firmware update.

  As I read in another post: firmware update does not solve a problem, you didn't. However, it can create a problem that you didn't.
