  Hi all

  I am running Windows 8 Preview Release + GTR (installed on two separate partitions) on my X230T. However, I have a problem that the built-in webcam gives me a reverse vertically (top to bottom) image. I tried to change ones Win8 beta drivers and the stock Win7 ones, and on the two installs it always gives me an inverted image.

  I don't find any option to reverse the image, is there any patch because it makes video Skype calls impossible? Would it be possible that my machine literally has the camera physically installed backwards?

  I finally solved the problem.

  1. Download Skype Desktop instead of Skype app metro

  2. go in the Skype video setting

  3. turn on the webcam

  From the description, I understand that you are facing a problem with the camera to the computer.

  It could be if the device drivers are not installed properly. Let us check out what is causing the problem.

  For you help I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions:

  (1) did you change to the hardware or software on the computer before the show?

  (2) you get an error message / code?

  (3) what is the model number of the laptop?

  (4) you use the camera built-in App or any other third party software?

  I reinstalled the driver for the webcam 2 times. the second time worked... it shows the flip button and is back to normal. I don't know what precisely because I just use the same driver again.

  There may be a setting in the BIOS of the computer that controls the web cam.
  Alternatively, you can miss a compatible driver.
  Or it is possible that the webcam is down.

• monitor screen display upside down

  The problem of Marco with my computer is that when I turn it on it opens with the normal Windows Logo. As soon ast, it opens the office that all the symbols for the different functions are backwards. I tried unpluging the cable between the PC and the screen and the inside repluging.   I had no luck running the computer in safe MODE. I tried this on a number of occasions.

  However I used systems of restoration for seven days before sentencing. This seems to have fixed the problem.
