  • Satellite A100 - how to remove the Memory Stick Pro DUO card slot

    Hey,.

I really need help with how to remove my Memory Stick Pro DUO card slot.

The laptop read the stick very well and I can see all the files into it but I can't seem to get out. I tried to push a little to get out, but it does not work and it's also pretty far in so I can't get out.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you

    Hello

To my knowledge there is no extra help for Memory Stick Pro DUO removing as on the PCMCIA port.
You should try to get him out. If you n t manage to pull him out with you fingers, you can use a pair of tweezers.
    But be careful.

  • Any chance to use the Xoom with prepaid data card/key

Since we travel a lot, the idea of paying the data available on our Xoom only WiFi are attractive. I've seen these data "sticks" available for the regular USB ports, but not for the mini USB port located on the Xoom. Even if it was available, he would work on the Xoom without additional software changes?

Or am I totally off base here? (Wouldn't be the first time)

    Welcome dodgema,

The USB port on the Xoom does not currently feature host for USB drives or other storage devices. It does not allow the Xoom to be a connected to a PC as a device (the PC's host) to allow file transfers. Once honeycomb is updated to allow external storage, you must always apply android on the USB device or locally to run a prepaid program. You can use free WiFi at many public hotspots, WiFi only that I saw that you were going to a specific location for the (less flexible for me) access would require. You can, however, use a MiFi device to attach your Xoom out of a cell phone to use its data plan (some are pay as you go and others are unlimited). This gives you a mobile WiFi hotspot everywhere wherever you go.

  • No sound work of the integrated sound card since the withdrawal of another sound card

When I bought my pc from Dell, I installed a map 5.1 sound. However I now need to use the pc for a wireless card slot, so removed the sound card and hoped to return to the integrated sound card. Although he seems to think that all devices are working correctly, when I try to listen, by using the sockets on the back or forward, there is no sound. The audio realtek manages it say that there is no device plugged into the system.

    Hello

Check with the manufacturer of the sound card documentation to see what this cable.
(What is the brand and the exact card model - if you need help to find
the instructions that they should be available on the site and Google?)

Check with Dell Support, their documentation online, and their forums for
known issues as this sound more like a hardware issue that some pilots
    (Links above).

  • Satellite P200-1FZ: how to insert the smart media card into the card slot

    Hello

I have read the slim manual, and I can't find any info on the card slot. (other than where he lives on the laptop)

Could someone tell me please how to insert my card SmartMedia? the slot is huge and I'm worried about losing the card inside the laptop! I assume that the smart media will be automatically run?...

    Thanks in advance!

It would be good to know what model of laptop you have.
But, normally, for the smaller cards, you will need an adapter that is often included, as for the memory stick pro duo.
I think it's just normal size and you have to put in the middle of the card reader slot until you hear a click.

If you have not changed the AutoPlay settings, you must get a new window with the files on your card, when you put it on your laptop.

  • Satellite L350 - how to use the express card slot?

Can someone tell me about the L350 what means the express card slot?

Only, I'm used to having the SD and memory stick cards.
Is there an express card to use with this or can get you an adapter for other cards?

    Thank you smokeyb

    Hello

You should look in the user manual. You will find lots of information about the batch of express cards.

The express card slot allows you to install ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 to extend functionality.
For example, the external WiFi cards, USB cards, etc. use this slot machine.

  • Satellite L30 - how to open the Wireless card slot to upgrade the Wlan card

Y at - it a special way to open the card slot on a Satellite L30 wireless or should I just use a USB adapter wireless... because the crack is there but I can't open it and USB we're boring.

    Thanks for the help...

    GMC

There is no special way. Just 2 screws...
So, if you have a wireless mini-pci network card, then you can open the lid, insert it and use it. But be sure to unscrew the screw more than necessary. :)

And if you´re not able to open it, then you will need to use your boring usb adapter. ;)

    Welcome them

  • Satellite 1900-803: what are the specs of the PC card slot?

I have a 1900-803 satellite. can someone tell me where to look whether its pc card slot is a 32-bit or otherwise?

    Hello

I think that information that you might find in the manual of Toshiba which must be preinstalled on the laptop.
On my laptop, I found manual and there is lots of useful information about my unit.
But as far as I know this laptop supports 32-bit/PC-Card 16-Bit interface Cardbus and PCMCIA Type II (x 2) or Type III (1 x)

    Additional information:
In the BIOS, it should be possible to change the settings of PC card.

  • The Droid 3 has a microSD card slot?

I just read that the Droid 3 comes with 16GB internal memory and it's on PCWorld. No microSD card slot and no 32 GB of the Droid 3 version. What is happening with this? I am currently using 20GB on my Droid, and I can't upgrade to a phone that allows me only to 16 GB. The iPhone has even a 32 GB version. Is PCWorld the correct? I can't check on the website of Verizon Wireless or even Motorola, since Motorola is not the phone listed in their store again!

Here is the article from PCWorld:

    http://www.PCWorld.com/article/235194/motorola_droid_3_roars_in_with_new_features.html

Please someone check the truth on that.

the SD card under the hull back and on this one, you can actually remove and put it back without removing the battery, which is very convenient. It is located on top of the stack and no slot so its easy to enter and exit while keoping your phone. you just take it apart > delete > back > come up again.

  • Equium A100: Can I use the MS Duo in the card slot?

    Hello dear friends T!

IM expieriencing some difficulties with the PORTABLE THOSHIBA (EQUIUM A100) computer CARD READER.

It supossed to be compatible with sd cards / ms duo/duo pro, etc., but in fact he only reads my sd cards...

The problem with my mobile (from my sony ericcson) ms duo is the following: I insert my stick into the adapter and then im tring to stick the adapter with the stick in the media... card slot inside but opposite to my sd stick that fits perfectly in it, it seems unreasonable "Feelin ' of beeing glued adapter in (if you know what I mean" (: some "klick" sound like for example the one I hear while sticking a sd card).

I feel as if I would lose the adapter somewhere inside my laptop, then probably, I could, cos you can push in and push in it and all of a sudden, it starts to disappear inside the slot, then (ufff!) u nead a pair really good and kind to the clippers to take him out.

Can u please help me with this issue?
Why isn't my slot of media card to do anything after that I have insert the memory stick duo with the duo card adapter memory inside?

    Thanks in advance
    Mike

    Hello

I think that you are not cleared enough!
For example, the satellite A100-027 supports a multiple digital media card slot.
This property supports different maps, BUT it does not support the Memory Stick Duo!

The card reader supports these cards:
    8MB - 2 GB SD card
    photo 16-1 GB xD card
Memory Stick 8 to 256 MB
Memory Stick Pro 256 MB to 2 GB
    MultiMediaCard (MMC) 8 MB - 1 GB

I hope I can clear this problem!

  • High capacity SD card does not work in the card slot

I have problems using a a MicroSD card of 200 GB in my Macbook Air 13 inch card reader.

SanDisk Ultra 200 GB MicroSDCX UHS - I card

MacBook Air 13 inch MID 2012

    Yosemite OSX 10.10.5

I have had this 200 GB card for a week and been using it with my Nifty mini-convoyeur. Previously I'd been using a memory card Micro SD of 64GC since mid-2012 without any problems so far.

Since I use this 200 GB card a week ago she continually disassembles, becomes corrupted and unreadable, not mountable and lift all kinds of errors when I try to copy the data or even make a new folder. I have used about 20 times utility disc up, check, repair, and operate. I had re - format 6 times now and I've tried all the different formats and same partitioning it but still questions. Ive tried to identify the problem as follows.

    (1) I thought the card was defective at first, however I only get these questions when I put the SD card micro of 200 GB into a USB card reader and connect it via the USB port.

    (2) I thought that the OWL mini-convoyeur may be defective, but the problems do not occur with my 64 GB SD micro card.

    (3) as the problems occur even when I put the 200 GB Micro SD in a Standard SD adapter (in fact I've tried 3 different adapters just to be sure) and put it in the slot of the card. 64 GB card works fine, but the 200 GB card still has questions.

So the only conclusion I can come to is that there are problems with the Macbook Air with cards 13 inches high capacity...

The only question now, it's just my machine or all the SD integrated card readers? I don't know anyone who has another person to check if...

    Any suggestions, or an overview?

I understand this card capacity of 200 GB is quite new, and I was not able to find someone with problems online. I may be the first, or it's just my computer/card reader that is faulty?

    Thank you, Chris.

So I'm at a point where I can assure you:

200GB SD card works fine via USB hub/MiniSD adapter. I can mount/dismount and copy to the card without any problems. 200GB SD Card will be mounted with the internal SD card slot, but try to copy to card gives me the following error:

"The operation cannot be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code - 50)."

Using a smaller card gives me no problems at all.

Ive also updated to El Capitan 10.11.2 (15 c 50).
