• Theme Builder OS6 MEDIA tab problem. Help, please

  Hello my fellow developers!

  I have been looking for a solution for this problem and simply can not come good!

  Is attached a picture of my problem.

  

  I use the latest version of Theme Builder (V6) when designing for OS 6 icons specifically the Curve 9300, but others have had the same problem with the Bold 97xx... I save and export the theme on my phone, directly by the program or download and install OTA, the MEDIA TAB slider appears NOT all icons, all the other tabs as 'Downloads', 'Favorites', 'Frequent' and 'All' display icons correctly.

  Someone would help me please in this regard?

  You have the right version.  4.7 refers to the version of the Plazmic CDK (the suite of applications).  The tools it contains (Theme Builder and composer) have different versions.

• Theme Builder 5.0 won't open Adobe Photoshop 7.0

  In theme Builder, go to editing-> Preferences menu.  It will launch a dialog box, one of the tabs is called 'Applications' (5th tab), which opens and specify the path of Photoshop in the second field (define a default Image Editor).

  With each new version of the APEX, I install usually applications (4000, 4350 or 4550) builder in my workspace to review best practices in the way apps are built and copy models where possible. With 4.2, I like what I see, a lot. Much to borrow.

  No. a Couple of cases where there is a problem or it is broken, I noticed:

• Even if the browser window is maxmimized, all page anchor links at the top of the page edit the template Page (4000:4307) are not all visible on most screens (iPad; 15 "MacBook Pro; 1280 × 1024 monitor)
  
• Switching themes can take place on tablets, if there are long names of models of selection on the theme of the switch lists - page check compatibility (4000:386). These selection lists, press the button 'Next' out of the visible area (and I did not understand equivalent of accessibility of the iPad to navigate between controls by using the tab key...)

• How to port a theme created by theme Builder? Should I start from scratch for each device?

  I created a complex for 8900 theme, now I want to wear 9000, 9700-based project of thm 8900, but I don't know how to import a 8900 9000 project, should I start from scratch for each device?

  I believe you can simply create a new 9000 or 9700 theme of the same type (IE Zen, Custom, today) and then use the "File-> import" command and load in the 8900 theme file you created earlier.  Everything tends to be imported, but you will have to perhaps move some indicators and check for spacing.

• Theme Support for different models and some newbie questions

  Hello, I'm new in the creation of theme BB and I need help. I created a theme on Theme Builder 6 for the Curve 9300, the type of provision is Blackberry 6 and the screen for this model size is 320 x 240. The problem is that I don't know what to write in the description on the supported models. I exported the zip file and the devices.txt file States that 9300 theme is for OS6. I need to know what the other models are supported? Or what I need to re-create for other models of same screen size? I'm really confused, and I'm not a BB user too.   No matter what model of BB with the size of the screen of 320 x 240 and that runs on Blackberry OS6 theme will work. However, the theme will not work for a device with a screen size of 320 x 240, AND that run on Blackberry OS5.

  Regarding the priduct icon, it is simply the image of the "App" icon The descriptive is the image that appears if your theme is featured on the app world. This is the only time where the featured image is used.

  No, this is not supported.

  Can any knows about themes customized for os7?

  At the moment you cannot develop themes for OS7 help theme builder 6. The only way would be to follow complicated methods to "hack" or cheat your way into building themes for OS7. But keep in mind that the method is not simple.

• Development of the theme of 7 BONE - resolution issues of

  Don't know where I went wrong, but I followed the posts blog on changing files, properties and properties of the device for Theme Builder 6.0 and have a problem where the themes that I have built and deployed on my 7 OS device are in the wrong resolution.  They run fine on the device, they are just at the wrong resolution.  I double checked to make sure that the resolution is 640 x 480 (resolution of destination), but nevertheless it does not.

  Anyone else having this problem?

  Finally figured it out, just had to work on some of the SVG.  Just try to rush through something.

• Theme generator - am I missing something?

  I downloaded the theme Builder 5.0 to use with my Storm 9530.  Although I am new to the creation of themes, I read the instructions to customize the cursor navigation path.  Step by step, I don't see on my software any section navigation, tab of the browser, browsing history or anything in this section.  I use a 32-bit Vista system.  Any ideas or my software does not completely load?

  The storm is a touchscreen device that requires no configuration of the navigation.  With touch screens, the user can move directly from one point to another. As a general rule, the navigation is only required for devices that have a track ball or press with restricted movement.   I think that's the reason why the navigation section is not visible in the application.

  seems that I have two questions that I posted here recently resolved. I finally found the full version (not BETA version) theme Studio 6, and when I went to use I found that this version had the ability to change the icon of mail BESX with that I had so many problems! So, if you want to change it, its option on theme Builder 6, full version.

• Help! where to download icons for the development of the theme?

  last year after I got my blackberry 8330 curve, I found a theme I really liked from a site of free themes online... personally, I prefer the layout form of L and I LOVE the "BOLD" icons / BB storm, but want to keep my curve. my phone got wet yesterday and had to be replaced, and when I got the new phone I forgot that I needed to find the theme. of course, since it was almost 10-12 months ago, I couldn't find the EXACT theme I had before, and stupidly, I do not download on my pc for backup in my usual.

  in order to create my own personal theme of "BOLD" - style-for-curve customized to my BB, where can I find the icons I need to develop it? I must add that I am a beginner and have done some research online on the tools needed to make themes and have the blackberry theme studio AND plazmic theme Builder. the two programs are comparable, but I have TO have these specific icons and am still unable to take these issues duly filled in the file format icons * .alx, since two builders of theme, I need *.thm files.

• Time capsule and errors to restore backups

  I'm trying to restore different backups of 2 macbooks by using the migration wizard and finder, but I do get rather a warning message that the disk image could not be opened because there is no file system mountable or that the operation has been exceeded.

  Otherwise, when I try to backup using time machine on the space remaining (1 TB) disk 2 TB of the time capsule, I repeatedly get the message that: "' Time Machine has conducted an audit of the backups on 'Time Capsule'." To improve reliability, Time Machine must create a new backup"' when I click on"start new Backup ".

  Any chance to access and retrieve the data stored on this disk?

  Once a backup Time Machine is corrupted, it is extremely difficult to recover. If you click on this message... TM will delete the existing backup and start over.

  What model is the TC you use? Is it Gen4 or earlier... That is to say a flat one. If this is the case, you can remove the hard drive and put it in a door - and maybe access backup directly from the computer. If it's a Gen5... tall, then you will a lot more difficult. The hard drive is not easy to get out and it is very easy to damage the cable that connects the drive of TC in the plate.

  You can always try to recover from the Finder. How successful will be depends entirely on suite corrupt how backups are.

  Someone has worked hard to extract their data and published some useful information that I kept at hand.

  (1) disable Time Machine.

  (2) judgment of all index Spotlight (mdutil d - a).

  (3) destroy all Spotlight indexes (rm - rf /.) Spotlight - V100) manually.

  (4) fix a problem of permission of system files with Spotlight (removed a bunch of files belonged to a non-existent user in a subfolder/private/var/folders Spotlight created). No idea how they got there, but they were there, and newspapers are complaining about them causing a fatal error.

  (5) index Spotlight the reactivation and let them build entirely.

  (6) re - run a backup Time Machine original.

  Unfortunately at the time where you get the message about corrupt backups, it is too late...

  It will be a bigger and bigger problem... and I'm encouraging people to rely not on TM of the way in which they may have had in the past. I use a secondary backup to TM system... Carbon Copy clone... CCC, which performs a backup much more simple... a direct clone... It is much less likely to be corrupt and can be instantly tested by booting from the clone (using USB) external to it.

• TOWER Simulator?

  Any ideas on how long we have a simulator of functioning for the tour?

  To do a reset, it's easier to go back on the theme generator and click again on the button of Simulator and he'll recover.  As far as I know, the only way to close the device on Windows 64 simulators is via the Task Manager.
