• BB Tower Simulator does not connect to internet through MDS Simulator

  I looked at some similar threads for a similar problem, but the solution doesn't seem to work for BB tour Simulator that I am using.

  I downloaded and installed the following

  BlackBerry_Simulators_4.7.1.40_9630_Verizon.exe

  and

  BlackBerry_Email_MDS_4.1.2.17.exe

  I start the MDS Server and then the Simulator.

  The SDM startup shows all errors in the console.

  The Simulator also starts well and shows that I'm on a simulated Fledge "network with GPRS.

  When I try to go to an external site like "Google.com", through the browser, an error message appears that says "Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service"

  What Miss me? Should I change some parameters of the it strategy?

  The pointers will be greatly appreciated.

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything properly and things worked well... My apologies for the noise.

  IAM trying to run my application using JDE 4.7 and 9630 simulator (BB-Tower Simulator), it gives me JVM error 545 incompatible file system...

  After looking on Google for a while, I discovered a solution of running clean.bat... .but I have not found any clean.bat Simulator installed directory, so I copied it from the repertoire of Simulator JDE 4.7... even if the error persists...

  Kindly help me as soon as possible... she needs I need to remove & reinstall this Simulator or I should run my application using JDE 5.0...

  Any kind of help would be appreciated...

  Try to delete the files from the directory of Simulator *.dmp.

  If this does not work, delete all your cod and related files in the directory also (and *.dmp file) and try to raise the Simulator without your applications.  Assuming this works, add back in your applications.

• 9630 Simulator NOT work with MDS Simulator!

  I use the Tower Simulator (BlackBerry_Simulators_4.7.1.40_9630_Verizon) with the MDS Simulator (BlackBerry_Email_MDS_4.1.4) but I can't connect my browser to the internet at all.

  What can be the problem?

  Edit: Follow-up "understandable" simon's note.

  There is a workaround to use a newer version than the official facilities files: use the Simulator MDS of the JDE or Eclipse installation and copy them to any machine he needs.

  The final answer seems to be not related to the MDS version. In the BB Simulator, please make sure that the network is the "1xev".

  Then it works fine.

  I am writing an application that requires to produce long and steady tone. The playTone() function seems to be exactly what I was looking for, but when I tried it on the Tower Simulator (and on my tour too), I was disappointed to find that this function does not behave as described in the documentation of the API rather than the production of constant electronic notes, it produces a piano note that sounds wrong that quickly breaks down and turns off after a maximum of three seconds. Is there a way to work around this behavior, or another approach that works?

  I have it. I used the NCH tone generator to make the tone I needed, converted into an mp3 file, then did:

• Simulator of OS6 for VS. Debug?

  I use Visual Studio WebWorks v2.5.1.1 on VS2008 Windows XP.  Debugging on the 9550 Storm (v5.0.0.469) Simulator provided with the SDK works fine, but I have not been able to find a single OS 6 Simulator that does not give me the message: "debugging is not supported on the selected Blackberry Simulator.  I tried 9800 Torch (v6.0.0.337), 9670 Sprint Tour (v6.0.0.407), 9650 Verizon Tower (v6.0.0.431), 9670 (v6.0.0.436) tower and Torch 9800 (v6.0.0.227).  Is there are currently available that I have not tried, but that does not support debugging?  If this isn't the case, when it will be available?

  On OS6 it is not integrated into the debugging support.  This was added for BB7 and PlayBook with the integration of Web Inspector.  We are trying to move the debugging of web content in more familiar tools for web developers (i.e. Web Inspector)

  However OS6 is currently excluded from this mixture.  There are various tookits who will work for debugging on OS6 (winere, firebug toolkit), but they do not support JavaScript breakpoints.

  I bought an iPhone 6 s it took 3 hours for Verizon connect my phone to my new Verizon account. The phone would display full service bars then, slide an or no service in bars. the phone was finally connected but may 2016 so far I sill experience the same problem of poor or no service call and dropped. Often the phone will not even scream or try to connect to the network.  Apple has replaced the phone 3 x but with no. change my service problems. Verizon and Apple senior level tech support spent to treat 30 + hours on the phone with me trying to solve this problem. We replaced the SIM cards without change. When I put the SIM card in my iPhone 6 it works fine. Full don't signal any calls interrupted and service when roaming. Back in the 6s and no service in the same place. Put the SIM card in the other Iphones not without problem.  If roaming is enabled, phone often it will not conbect to the tower at all. WiFi call is disabled and LTE voice data are on. I've disabled CDMA and data with little or no change with the problem. When iphone 6s loses the service and I toggle airport power phone it will display momentarily full service bars, then the bars one or not, while remaining connected to LTE. In some areas, I can receive calls but can not shout. Sometimes I can txt use data without showing on my plan as using FaceTime and can use the internet. The order indicated above of multiservices to no service happens within 10 seconds repeat throughout the day all areas companies Verizon towers and riaming towers. Verizon finally got the iPhone 6 s to work with full signal across remote I've ever had service, but continue to hamper the not being able to call in roaming. Shortly after that, the phone back to old habits after that they tried to solve the roaming problem.

  After 5 months of no stop calls to Verizon senior level tech supports on September 22, a high tech support tech senior level line finally came to the conclusion after 3 hours of troubleshooting determined it is a software problem Apple 100%. It determined that the phone for a month not was not connected totally to Verizon even if I used it. There to reset the SIM card and the network settings on the phone several times during this period to have the phone drop any connection after initial power that showed a full service then dropped the LTE then, he loses all the bars of service then shows no bar service then no service what so ever in 10 seconds. This was the problem with this phone on the first day.

  He explained that he has heard of what is happening and that Apple is currently working on a solution, but will not be out until possibly October 2016. He also said that this problen is happening now with new models Iphone 7.

  HE then stated that a specific sequence is usually not used must be used to reset the network settings by releasing the bug fix.

  How to restore your device

  1. First of all, back up your device using iTunes or iCloud so you don't lose any personal information.

  Note: If this is the first time that you have saved on iCloud, it may take time for several reasons (speed of Wi - Fi, amount of info on your device).

  2. Connect to iTunes to restore your device. 3. Choose "Set Up as new". 4. Make sure you that you connect to iCloud with your Apple ID so that only your contacts are re-added.   I hope this helps someone it is to have the same problems. I'm waiting to see if the bug fix works otherwise I'm going to an android phone. It has been too long a process without having a phone that works.

  I have the same problem - it has taken far too much time out of my weekend to try to resolve this problem. In addition, the Apple support person I spoke on the phone was very condescending.

  I've read elsewhere that change the LTE cell Options > Data Only will not solve the problem. So far, this seems to have worked for me.
