• Theme Builder OS6 MEDIA tab problem. Help, please

  Hello my fellow developers!

  I have been looking for a solution for this problem and simply can not come good!

  Is attached a picture of my problem.

  

  I use the latest version of Theme Builder (V6) when designing for OS 6 icons specifically the Curve 9300, but others have had the same problem with the Bold 97xx... I save and export the theme on my phone, directly by the program or download and install OTA, the MEDIA TAB slider appears NOT all icons, all the other tabs as 'Downloads', 'Favorites', 'Frequent' and 'All' display icons correctly.

  Someone would help me please in this regard?

  When I select "On Theme Builder" version that appears is 4.1.0.19 even if I downloaded 4.7 and the patch is that true?

  You have the right version.  4.7 refers to the version of the Plazmic CDK (the suite of applications).  The tools it contains (Theme Builder and composer) have different versions.

• Theme Builder 5.0

  I recently downloaded Theme Builder 5.0 for my PC and I finally have time to sit and play with it. I managed to create a theme that I'm pretty happy and I am excited to start using it. However, when I export it to my phone I don't get the option "Activate now" and the theme is not listed under Options > themes.

  I don't get any kind of error message. Am I missing something here?

• Theme Builder 5.0 won't open Adobe Photoshop 7.0

  When I click on edit in sections that allow the photo, background, icon of the update etc, nothing happens. Y at - it a setting I need to change in order to change?

  In theme Builder, go to editing-> Preferences menu.  It will launch a dialog box, one of the tabs is called 'Applications' (5th tab), which opens and specify the path of Photoshop in the second field (define a default Image Editor).

  I want to change/manipulate the size of fonts, text wrapping for the Interactive reports in APEX 4.0. I read that it is possible to change the themes. CSS file. Please advice me how can I do it. What is the location of the themes. CSS file, how can I change it. I'm not an expert of the Apex, just a beginner. Your help is very appreciated.

• How to port a theme created by theme Builder? Should I start from scratch for each device?

  I created a complex for 8900 theme, now I want to wear 9000, 9700-based project of thm 8900, but I don't know how to import a 8900 9000 project, should I start from scratch for each device?

  I believe you can simply create a new 9000 or 9700 theme of the same type (IE Zen, Custom, today) and then use the "File-> import" command and load in the 8900 theme file you created earlier.  Everything tends to be imported, but you will have to perhaps move some indicators and check for spacing.

• Apex 5 ir action menu does not work with the 15 theme

  I'm trying to apply for apex 4.2 using the 15 theme in apex 5, but the IR Action menu does not work.

• Apex 5.0 - scrolling page builder

  Don't anyone who lacks the ability to scroll from one page to the other in page Builder Apex? There are many times when I want to check a specific component or an attribute of many pages and be able to browse all the pages was very convenient for me. Now, you must click the pop-up icon, wait for the list of pages to be loaded into the context menu (who basically takes the same amount of time it will take to load the next page), select the page and then wait for this page to load in Report Builder. I know probably sounds like I'm whining here, but I really used this feature, and it's over now (at least I think it is). If she's still here, someone please see me if I can get productive with Apex 5, as I was with all earlier versions.

  Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, this feature is gone in the Page Designer. We tried to reduce the number of buttons in the toolbar of the designer of the Page to avoid clutter. We discussed back, especially because our PM David Peake also liked use present in its demonstration sessions to go a page preview in the detail screen. But at the end of the day, we arrived at the conclusion that there probably used only in a limited number of use cases, because most of the time pages is not grouped by number and added to the site in a random order.

  But this does not mean that we couldn't add a keyboard shortcut (for example: Ctrl + left or Ctrl + up/down) to restore this kind of functionality, if demand is sufficient. Can you please request a feature to http://apex.oracle.com/vote so that others can start to vote.

• IE8 a bug on the APEX 4.2 error page theme 25

  Hi all
  
  Did anyone else experienced a problem of formatting IE8 on the error page when you use the theme 25 APEX 4.2? If you use IE8, try to run http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=65097 (no authentication needed) and click the button. The result is an intentional error that appears on the error page - but the formatting applied to the 'OK' button is not successfully completed by the look of it.
  
  If you look at the raw HTML code, this is what is generated:

  Chrome, IE9 and FF seem to manage the balance in tags, but IE8 does not work. Has anyone similar known, or got a smart solution for it?

  Indeed, this seems to be a bug. We will have a glance.

• Skillbuilders modal Page on IE8 with a theme of IE6 compatible Apex

  We use 13 Theme for some time now - I am aware that this is not the best theme in the world to use, but with the number of pages app that we have now it will take much time to upgrade to a more recent topic.
  
  Recently, we have implemented the Skillbuilders modal page with more than a little help from Dan McGhan and it looks amazing, using any theme of Apex, when using IE9, Chrome, Firefox etc. For some reason if you use IE8, we know the strange behavior.
  
  The modal box is not displayed the close button and the right and bottom sides are concealed within a parent div It is a known problem with the jquery ui dialog box, but I was hoping that someone could have developed a work around to make it display correctly.
  
  If you visit [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=62488:2:0 url:] this example with IE8 and click on names, it does not display properly.
  
  Can anyone help? We know the switching to a non - IE6 compatible themes we work, but I'd like to solve this problem without changing things in this regard.

• BUG: Missing images on Apex 4.0 Theme 2 (rollup_plus_dgray.gif + rollup_minus)

  I upgraded from 3.1.2 to 4.0.0.00.46 Apex.
  The installation log does not indicate an error.
  
  After installation, I changed the theme of my application to theme 2.
  I noticed that Hide/show-regions do not work:
  Only the title of the region is displayed but there is no way to extend (view)
  the content of the region.
  
  FireBug told me, that

  http://myserver:7777/i/themes/theme_2/rollup_minus_dgray.gif
  
  was not found (HTTP 404 error).
  
  I searched for the files on the server (installation folder-images and apex SST folder) but the files are not in
  the theme_2 folder, but in all the other files of the theme.
  (Solution: copy the files of the other theme folder in the theme_2 folder)
  
  Update/extension:
  OSH-error log excerpt:
  File does not exist: $PathOHS/images/themes/theme_2/images/paginate_next.gif
  -> Find the file in the theme_2 folder, and not in the subfolder images of theme_2.
  Copy the filec to the subfolder solved this problem.

• Image theme APEX on a hosted site acquisition

  I bought a beautiful theme for APEX, I try it get up and running to my instance of apex of work, the problem is that the dba do not want to create the directory to put the files on the Oracle application server. On servers that I manage, I have no problem doing this, but it's an entirely different matter.
  
  I downloaded the files as static files, static images and I downloaded the css in the css. Problem is that my graphics are not displayed.

  The css does not work, but the icons, buttons and other png or gif files are not rendered?

• Theme Support for different models and some newbie questions

  Hello, I'm new in the creation of theme BB and I need help. I created a theme on Theme Builder 6 for the Curve 9300, the type of provision is Blackberry 6 and the screen for this model size is 320 x 240. The problem is that I don't know what to write in the description on the supported models. I exported the zip file and the devices.txt file States that 9300 theme is for OS6. I need to know what the other models are supported? Or what I need to re-create for other models of same screen size? I'm really confused, and I'm not a BB user too. Also I don't know what produced icons and images recommended should be, I guess they are a type similar to those observed when hollow searching App World themes. And the calendar icon does not always change in the Simulator, I read that it is a bug in Theme Builder.

  No matter what model of BB with the size of the screen of 320 x 240 and that runs on Blackberry OS6 theme will work. However, the theme will not work for a device with a screen size of 320 x 240, AND that run on Blackberry OS5.

  If you just need to do a bit of research on the screen sizes and device operating systems.

  Regarding the priduct icon, it is simply the image of the "App" icon The descriptive is the image that appears if your theme is featured on the app world. This is the only time where the featured image is used.
