Theme for Vista

Hi all, I need urgent help. As I am running windows vista with a slow RAM, I use a windows xp theme instead. However, I can't find a link to the Xp downlaod topic. I don't want to get links over the internet, as some may contain viruses. Anyone know where I can get the XP theme on microsoft.com? Pls help and thank you.

    Hello

    Additional numbers describes the series of laptop! There are different A200 series!
    At the bottom of the unit, you will find the integer and you need only the first characters and numbers 5.

    Please choose the right Satellite A200 series and download the graphics driver on the right!

    But the way in which; I don't know if the game performance will improve after the installation of the new graphics driver I've read somewhere that Vista needs a lot more material performance and that's why some games don t m runs smoothly.

    In such cases, it s advisable to run and play games on Win XP operating system!

  • Need of energy saving for Vista on Satellite A100

    I bought my A100 with XP Home almost a year ago.
    I bought Vista Business Edition and I installed it on the PC.
    I downloaded the vista from the support section drivers and install them.
    Everything worked fine except for the following:
    1 Toshiba power saver is not included in the vista drivers and the old version is not compatible with vista
    2 - Toshiba PC config also the same problem

    Can someone tell me how to get the new version of power saver and pc config for vista.
    my laptop is A100 (PSAA9).

    Thnx

    Hello

    TOSHIBA Power Saver for Vista tool is not available. All you can do is to install the package of value-added and other Toshiba designed tools listed on the download page.

    Many power settings are now part of the Vista operating system and Toshiba does not power the day before regarding the Windows XP Edition operating system family.

    Cannot so I install XP on my laptop computer as what bios or he must downgrade before you install xp?

    Thanks for all replies.

    Hello

    Yes, you can install Win XP on this laptop with Vista BIOS.
    It might be possible that some features of the laptop do not work with Vista BIOS and therefore you could update the BIOS to the version of Win XP (if available) after Windows XP has been installed.

  • Windows Update for Vista (KB2286198) _

    Everything from the lates Windows Update has been installeded for Vista (KB2286198)

    I was not able to use my card to air with the Cradlepoint router.  The computer can see the router but only connect with local and non-local and internet access.  If I plug the modem from Verizon in the computer USB it will not work.  I have uninstall-ed the update and it works again with the Cradlepoint wireless modem.  Then, the update automatically installs again and I have the same problem.  What can I do to fix this?

    First, uninstall again and then search for updates and it should appear.  Right-click on it to hide, and it will not be downloaded or installed or appear again (but you can still get in case of need if she and him to download and install-, but I wouldn't do that).  You will need to put it to manual and not automatic selection to do this.  So, try the following:

    Try to download and install manually by download on your desktop and install them one by one. Insert the number of KB to get updates on the right and choose the one corresponding to your version of Vista: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx.

    If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 and disable your security software.  See if the installation works. However, once don't forget to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If that does not work, uninstall it again.

    Also read and execute the steps ofhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058.

    If this does not help, please transfer your question in Forum Windows Update:http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/threads where updates experts will be happy to help you.  Please post with the information requested here:what to post in the Windows Update forum

    Hello

    I guess that part of the question could be a driver which is really old or similar should not be loaded.

    This exit Windows updates on (after you have access) and stop the updates of the driver to load.

  • Update for VISTA Business automatically leads to not being able to open the attachment in Windows Mail

    After an automatic update from Microsoft for VISTA Business on July 16, I now can't open attachments in the reading of e-mail messages in Windows Mail.  An error message indicates that the file is not found.  I have now to save all attachments and open my files before I read attachments.  It's very frustrating.  I had a similar experience, only a couple of weeks where a parameter is passed by an automatic update to VISTA leading to read all the emails being hidden from view.  I had never seen that before and it cost me £40 to get DELL Technical Support to sort for me.  Microsoft should not do this kind of thing are they?  Should I just revert to the original system (I have to pay DELL to do it for me) and just not allow Microsoft Update VISTA more.  I have my own business, no IT support and I want to just use my easy notebook for standard applications.  Nothing complicated.  I can't afford to waste time and money sorting on my laptop when I should run my own business in very difficult times.  Thanks to anyone who can advise me.

    I understand exactly what you're saying.

    Try this with updates to uninstall the problem and change the eo settings you decide what it is installed:

    Click Start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

    > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
    > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".
    When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the update causing you problems.
    > or if you do not need an individual > right-click on > UAC prompt > hide it
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    And if you really need to go back to factory settings, save your self money.

  • Download Codec for vista 32 bit

    I have a codec missing for windows media player 11.0.6002.18311, but every time I look for a download they all seem a little dubious, can anyone recommend a downlaod codec for vista 32-bit, what is safe.  I downloaded some of them without any problem of success just to get rid of them and im now a little tired to download anything. Help, please

    Oh sorry, you will need to obtain from another computer Windows Vista or your install disc (if you have one, these instructions are here).  I have just the zip and give you a complete file of fonts, but it's against the license (and technically to the United States law) for them to be distributed.

    Hello

    There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    This can help you (download files and make your own DVDs).

    Vista ultimate is available. Read the information in the lower part of the message on how to use it for other editions of Vista:

    http://www.heidoc.NET/Joomla/technology-science/Microsoft/57-Windows-Vista-direct-download-links

    And here are instructions on how to burn ISO disk images:

    Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

    If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

    You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

    Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

  • Disks in the system for Vista

    I bought a desktop PC with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit and later updated my OS by buying a Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade CD soon after. A few months ago I started noticing my HDD is running out so I bought a new hard drive and installed my Windows 7 CD on that one. Given that it was only an upgrade CD, after about a month my BONES began to give me questions by telling me my Windows copy was not authentic. I realized it was because I installed upgrading Windows 7 on a new hard drive. I never received a Vista recovery CD with my purchase of the computer and I don't know what to do.  I have the product key of Windows Vista Edition Home Premium on a sticker on my computer.
