Theme of 23 apex no region in some models of the region id?
When you use the 23 (Crimson) theme, I noticed dynamic actions simple such that hide, do not work on some areas. After investigating the model region I noticed the tag in the section of these regions did not contain an id an example is the ' region without buttons and titles.When I added the code: id = "" #REGION_STATIC_ID # "in the tag in the section the problem has been resolved."
Is there a reason that apex has chosen not to include an ID in certain themes in the area of the 23 theme?

No good reason, you can change to add the desired substitution strings.

As part of my work as a volunteer for a repairman to point not lucrative to registered of Microsoft, I test a selection of mouse and wireless keyboards that are given. This makes me curious. What do these receptors with all this chatter? I assume deliberately, because I see the same thing in all the units I checked. If I was pretty savvy to decode the trace of the USB, I might be able to figure it out by myself, but I'm not. I hope that there is someone on this forum who remembers how these old 27 Mhz receivers are designed and who can make me jump the learning curve by giving me an explanation of a layman to what happens here.

I can't connect to any application on the oracle website hosted. It worked yesterday and Todier it does not work.
I get the following error:
Error processing the request.
ORA-01403: no data found
and the error also displays the message in other languages.
I was also using an old theme 2 years ago, it's #9 has pointed out, I had made a copy of it as the theme and brought some changes to the model and renamed it #101. I don't understand why it doesn't work anymore.
I use the authorization Application Express schema.
Do I need to change the themes? It seems that he does not keep the old themes.

Apex. Oracle.com has been upgraded to Oracle Application Express 4.2 on 02-SEP-2012. It seems unlikely that it would cause a problem on 21-SEP-2012, which was not evident on 20-SEP-2012.

Text on some models of the page is rotated incorrectly in the book module
It's probably very easy, but I can't understand it. Whenever I try to type the text of the spine of my book of lightroom, Lightroom puts it horizontally. I like to rotate the text to the spine of my book of 90 degrees so that it reads from top to bottom, as on any normal book. How do I do that?
Moreover, when I start a new book, the spine text appears correctly by default (90 degree rotation). In my book, the text cursor appears only for horizontal flow however, despite using the same model of design. Is this a bug or I accidentally changed the orientation of the text?

Strange problem with universal theme, jQuery and APEX 5 on Windows 8.1
I have a strange problem that makes me crazy. I get it whenever I need to run some jQuery or JavaScript in the new universal theme. This page is a good example:

Whenever I click on the calendar icon it opens and closes immediately. This happens when I click on and release the quick mouse button. If I do it slowly, click it, wait a second and release the mouse button, it opens as expected. I did the inspection of javascript in the firebug debugging console and I can see that each action runs twice.

I did some tests with some of my colleagues and discovered that this happens only on computers with Windows 8.1 running pages in Firefox or Google Chrome. IE works as expected.
I invite participants in this forum to do a test for me, if they have one of the browsers mentioned and Windows 8.1. My tests were from two different laptops I (the two Windows 8.1) and also of a virtual machine on Windows 8.1. I was able to reproduce this problem on all three computers.
I also did the same test with apex.oracle.com and with my local installation of APEX 5.0. They both behave the same.
I can't reproduce this with applications having the old model like this:

Brad, thanks a lot for the performance test.
Talking with the main developers of the universal theme, this afternoon, we have now highlighted what we believe to be the cause of this problem. There's code in a universal theme that uses hammer.js and apply a logic of quick click on all the links and buttons, with a few exceptions closely. We believe that it is this code that may be responsible for these questions.
Please hold fire for more such tests as requested previously, my apologies for any lost time do. We will follow on this thread with results as soon as we can.

with the help of Patrick's to my question Apex 5.0: Theme Roller and background image I was able to reference the theme Images in the theme Roller:

With the PL/SQL gateway, I created my custom theme Style. It will not set too. But if I open the theme roller then my style of custom theme will be resolved - all colors will be displayed, but not the images

Master Page Items question: I use master pages for a 60 page document and just found out that some of my master page items are multiplying! There are some boundaries on the pages, and some of them are constantly a quantity apparently without end on top of the other. For example, I replace to change the color of the border and notice a black there's below him so I deleted the extra and there is another and another and another... EEK. I can easily hide them, BUT I fear they will lead to complications in the case of pre-press printing. What is the cause? What can I do to prevent it? How can I get rid of the stack-up?
It's always haapening, if you substitute any element on the page and later master you reapply the same or another master. I would NEVER say to replace any itme master page in the page. Instead create another master based on the first, make the substitutions and apply this master. Substitutions on the pages should be avoided in all cases, not only for the problem you described above, other issues of accessibility will also come into play.

We imaged .tiff and we scored some changed in the Viewer windows fax and photo of XP Machine and we are not able to see the change made in Windows7 machine. Can someone help with this.
No guarantee... but maybe you can view your TIFF files in the Windows Photo Viewer:

3. is there a tool to generate the source in the region to "check list items.

This is because (at least in the example you provided) to two factors:
A 'feature' the theme 21 Pull Down Menu model list, which seems to be so designed as not to display a link to the current page. The current definition of model sublist will render an image of separator rather than the list entry/link:
Your entries of the list all link to the same page.
So to determine which model of list item to apply using the list input parameter current that current page is the target by default, APEX motor sees all of the entries in the form of links to the current page and presents them by using the current model sublist list item template as a separator.
All of your entries of the list really related to the same page? If so, why is this? What you trying to do? There may be other ways to address the issue that you have not considered.
If you really must use a dropdown menu with multiple links to the same page here, then there are two options:
- Continue to use the list template Pull Down Menu provided, but put in place a framework of Expression PL/SQL or SQL query to determine the current list entry.
- Create a copy of the Pull Down Menu model list and change the current model sublist definition so that the list entry appears in fact.

I get multiple research work emails (E/JS) and ecommerce. Some of them have a "Correct".

For some reason, however, some of the emails from other sources, downloading the verizon pop3, E/JS server are indicated (wrongly) as having the FA SMJAM-JAM above. This situation prevents my email filters to plug these emails to their appropriate mail folder.
Also, when the steps in order to transmit emails showing incorrect information of FA SMJAM-JAM, the e-mail is no longer present incorrect information of FA SMJAM-JAM but shows rather the correct information of FA that had been specified on the verizon pop3 server.

If I understand your problem, I think it may have to do with the addresses stored in your address book. Thunderbird can display the name of your address book instead of the name of the post office, where corresponds to the e-mail address.
Check your address books to see if you have a bad entry for mail addresses get listed wrong.
Also check under Tools-> Options-> advanced-> reading & display if you have checked the option to see show it only the names of the people in my address book. If you uncheck this option, the name and the address must be...
Some letters of the alphabet will not type when you try to rename a folder
I went to rename a file today and some letters of the alphabet appear on the screen when I typed them on my laptop. I'm using Vista on a Dell computer, but I don't think that it's the laptop, since the letters appears on a Word document and they work fine now. I think that the letters were T,C,H and V. All other letters work fine.
I have the soda on the keys accidentally spills earlier today, but I cleaned up as quickly as possible, and really didn't have any other problems with it, except that the Shift key sticks a bit, I think. I think it's the soda causing the problem with the missing letters, but it's only when I go to rename a folder. I tried out too many Documents, but that did not help.
If someone could let me know how I could solve this problem, it would be great. It is not a major problem, just an irritation.

In fact, I don't know what happened, but I just tried renaming a folder under the side to see if it still worked, and today it let me type T, C, H and V. I do not know!!! It works fine now. Weird...
