These can be wired together as their data types (digital, string, array, cluster, etc.) do not match.

Hi, I get an error update LabVIEW 8.2 for 2011:

These can be wired together as their data types (digital, string, array, cluster, etc.) do not match. View the contextual help window to find out what type of data is required.
The type of the source is cluster of 2 elements.
The type of the sink is typedef "IMAQ Image.ctl"
IMAQImage (IMAQImage,).

This type of incorrect argument can be caused by an old instance of the Image data type.
To fix, simply replace the instance with the definition of type IMAQ Image.ctl in the control menu of the image palette.

The source is:

Call library function node - image (dup)

The sink is:

IMAQ_array for image - image

I tried to delete the image VI IMAQ_array & always replacing but it connects...

Here is a picture of the VI, I have a number of VI to update and they all have this problem

Home is also the VI.

See if you can shed some light on this

The solution, he had to do with the representation of images in the old and the version of Labview

I'm completely new to NI Vision, so I had no idea what I was looking for

    It should be something like:

     ALTER TABLE tbllocations
     ADD  FLAG_BIT CHAR(1)

    I guess you can use the char(1) data type to contain these data. Also, you can create a check on the flag_bit column constraint to ensure that only 0 and 1 can be stored in the column.

    Get queue status must be output with the type of data (more precisely an array of the data type and an array of clusters if the data is itself a table). If you do not set the items back to entry to T, this should not even cost anything.

    That said, I agree with others that it is better to what actually a typedef.

  • A question about the conservation of fields (hour, min, sec) time DATE type in the table on the changes of NLS_DATE_FORMAT

    Hello

    Oracle version: 12.1.0.1.0 - 64 bit

                      OS:   Fedora Core 17 X86_64

    My question is about the conservation of fields (hour, minute, second) time DATE type in the array on NLS_DATE_FORMAT changes.

    Take the following test case:

    SQL> create table tmptab(dateval date);

    Table created.

    SQL> alter session set nls_date_format = 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss';

    Session altered.

    SQL> insert into tmptab(dateval) values('2014-01-01 00:00:00');

    1 row created.

    SQL> insert into tmptab(dateval) values('2014-01-01 10:00:00');

    1 row created.

    SQL> commit;

    Commit complete.

    SQL> select * from tmptab;

    DATEVAL
    -------------------
    2014-01-01 00:00:00
    2014-01-01 10:00:00

    SQL> alter session set nls_date_format = 'yyyy';

    Session altered.

    SQL> select * from tmptab where dateval > '2014';

    no rows selected

    SQL>

    I don't understand why it returns nothing. The second test case above insert statement inserted a line with 10 as the value for the time of the DATE field column dateval.

    Accordingly, while comparing this with the literal '2014' (which based on the new value of NLS_DATE_FORMAT = "yyyy" is implicitly converted to DATE), shouldn't the above query returns the line 2014-01-01 10:00 ?

    I mean, I changed the NLS_DATE_FORMAT but data from time in the table fields are preserved and that's why they should normally be taken into account in the comparison of date.

    What I'm trying to say is that for me (Please correct me if I'm wrong), no matter what NLS_DATE_FORMAT configuration is the following test

    SQL> select * from tmptab where dateval > '2014';

    is the same thing that

    SQL> select * from tmptab where dateval > to_date('2014-01-01 00:00:00', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss');

    And because the line 2014-01-01 10: 00:00 in the tmptab table. The following test

    2014-01-01 10:00:00 > to_date('2014-01-01 00:00:00', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss')

    evolves normally true (beucase of TIME = 10 on the left side of the test) and therefore this line must be returned which is not the case in the test above.

    You kindly could you tell me what I misunderstood?

    Thanks in advance,

    This is the price for the use of implicit conversions. Implicit DATE conversion rules are not as direct as it can be assumed. In your case, all you provide is year as date format. In this case date implicit conversion rules assumes that month in the current month, day 1 and time as 00:00:00.

    SQL > alter session set nls_date_format = "yyyy";

    Modified session.

    SQL > select to_char (to_date ('2014 "), ' mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') twice;

    TO_CHAR (TO_DATE('20)
    -------------------
    01/08/2014-00:00:00

    SQL >

    So, when you start:

    Select * from tmptab where dateval > '2014 '.

    Oracle implicitly converts date using "YYYY", which translates as August 1, 2014 '2014'. That's why your quesry returns no rows.

  • Equals (=) vs SIMILAR to data type date

    First of all, I am aware that the equal (=) operator is a "comparison operator compares two values for equality."  In other words, in a SQL statement, it will not return true unless both sides of the equation are equal.  For example:

    SELECT * FROM Store WHERE Quantity = 200;

    The LIKE operator "implements a comparison of pattern match" which attempts to match "a string against a string of models value containing wildcard characters.  For example:

    SELECT * FROM Employees WHERE Name LIKE 'Chris%';

    Here,

    I ask about the date on the ORACLE database data, I found the following, when I write the select statement in this way:

    SELECT ACCOUNT.ACCOUNT_ID, ACCOUNT.LAST_TRANSACTION_DATE FROM ACCOUNT WHERE ACCOUNT.LAST_TRANSACTION_DATE LIKE '30-JUL-07';

    I get all the lines, I'm looking for. but when I use the equal sign = instead:

    SELECT ACCOUNT.ACCOUNT_ID, ACCOUNT.LAST_TRANSACTION_DATE FROM ACCOUNT WHERE ACCOUNT.LAST_TRANSACTION_DATE = '30-JUL-07';

    I get nothing even if nothing is different except the equal sign. I can't find any explanation for this you?

    Just to explain your results...

    The LIKE operator only works on strings, so, in that your first example, it causes the left hand side (your DATE column) to be implicitly converted to a string.  Now, your NLS_DATE_FORMAT is obviously DD-MON-RR, so it converts the date to a string of this format, which then matches the string that you have provided on the right side and you get lines.  Now, if your dates got to them, the components then this conversion implcit decreases time to give only the part of the date, so that a very similar match for your channel.

    The '=' operator is overloaded to work with many different data types, so in this case, Oracle takes the data type of the left as being the type of data to use, which is DATES, and implcitly converts then the side right (your VARCHAR2 string) to a DATE.  This makes the right hand side a DATE with the component data type "time" 00:00:00.  As your transaction date is likely to have components, they are unlikely to be 00:00:00 (in most cases) If you you games for 30 July 2007 00:00:00, if it was be a line with that timestamp.

  • How to determine if a data type is used in the comic book?

    Background:
    I am currently planning to install GoldenGate proof of Concept and have questions about the data types supported by the capture mode (pg 1-5, 1-6 in the installation guide). Is not in itself a matter of GoldenGate.

    Our source and target databases are 11.2.0.2
    The GG server will be 11.2.0.3
    I'm new to the environment and want to confirm that we needn't upgrade the source and target the DBs to 11.2.0.3 in order to use the integrated capture mode. This forces me to know if 3 specific types of data are used in the comics. The problem is, Oracle docs aren't clear to me, when they refer to 3 specific data types.

    Here's the question:

    Does anyone know how I can confirm that the following 3 data types are used in the DB by querying the dictionary: "XML stored in binary form',"XML stored as object-relational","abstract data Type "?

    If I select the types of data separate from dba_tab_columns, I see no data enumerated type that indicates, for example, that an XML string is stored as a ' binary '.

    For me, when Oracle made reference to a "stored as binary XML" on page 1-6 on the installation guide, I guess that makes Oracle refers to a BLOB that contains an XML reference, but I can't be sure.

    Someone has an idea that they could share? I just want to confirm that we do not have to upgrade our source and target DBs at 11.2.0.3 by searching in the database is possible to confirm that the above 3 data types are not used by the application.

    You should find XML columns stored in binary form or CLOB using the DBA_XML_TAB_COLS view referenced in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e23094/xdb01int.htm#g644983.

    You should find XML tables using storage relational object in the view DBA_OBJECT_TABLES with:

    select
    owner,
    table_name,
    table_type
    from
    dba_object_tables
    where
    table_type='XMLTYPE';

    To abstract data type, you can query DBA_TAB_COLUMNS using ADT as literal for DATA_TYPE column:

  • Change data type for the column in a table - Oracle 8i

    Team,

    I need to change a VARCHAR2 column in number.

    ALTER table xyz change number abc;

    By giving the above statement, it says I need empty this column before you change.

    I can't change the data type before emptying this column.

    Please indicate any other solution. Give me some suggestions.

    Empty the column for me here BIG task.

    user11081688 wrote:

    Not according to the documentation:

    You can change the data type of any column or decrease the size of the entire column if all rows in the column contains NULL values.

    Please indicate any other solution. Give me some suggestions.

    You can add another column with the correct data type.

    ALTER TABLE xyz ADD COLUMN def NUMBER;
    UPDATE TABLE xyz SET def = TO_NUMBER(abc);
    ALTER TABLE xyz DROP COLUMN abc;
    ALTER TABLE xyz ADD COLUMN abc NUMBER;
    UPDATE TABLE xyz SET abc = def;
    ALTER TABEL xyz DROP COLUMN xyz;

    If I remember correctly, Oracle 8i does not support the change of name of column if this solution is a bit more complicated than 9i and above. Another option would be to create a new table with CREATE TABLE AS... SELECT, drop the old one and rename a new one to the old.

  • match the number with the varchar data type

    Hi all

    I want to compare the number data type with string. Is this possible? I use the function to_char. The example below.
    SQL> select * from tab_a;

     PLOT_NUMBER
    ------------
               1
               2
               3
               4
               5
               6

    6 rows selected
    SQL> select * from tab_b;

    PLOT_NAME       PLOT_NUMBER
    --------------- ------------
    seawods         5
    bridge cros     2,4
    hill park       1
    bash hunk       3,6

    SQL> select a.*, b.* from tab_a a, tab_b b where to_char(a.plot_number)=b.plot_number;

     PLOT_NUMBER PLOT_NAME       PLOT_NUMBER
    ------------ --------------- ------------
               1 hill park       1
               5 seawods         5
    as you can see here this number of parcel 2, 4, and plot_number 3.6 not reported because they are string.

    Can anyone please suggest what can do us in this case.

    I can't do chane data type.

    Thanks in advance
    SAZ

    What you can do in the case?

    Drop table table_b purge

    as the 'design' of this table is obviously out of whack, and the content should have been

    PLOT_NAME       PLOT_NUMBER
    --------------- ------------
    seawods         5
    bridge cros     2
    bridge cros     4
    hill park       1
    bash hunk       3
    bash hunk       6

    You now have the instr function to the "join".
    I would recommend standardization of the design. NOW
