Thinapped IE 7 - How to customize (home page, security zone, proxy settings,...)

Hello

I virtualized copy of IE 7 and it's working properly (thanks guys here in this community) but I need to customize this package with different internet settings for the homepage and the intranet zone instance. then rebuild the package and got the portable version.

Thanks in advance.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. on a clean machine, open IE 7 ThinApp and make all the customizations that are saved in the sandbox

2. to aid SBmerge utility, merge the contents of the sandbox again in the ThinApp

For steps on SBmerge, take a look here:

  • How to customize home page?

    Hi, I just got the droid Saturday... How can I customize the pages of home/screens ' 3'? I know how to delete or move?

    The screens themselves are not interchangeable, if that's what you mean, but to remove the icons and widgets on the screen you long press on (hold) on the icon or the widget until the drawer of the app at the bottom becomes red.  Then you can move the selected application or widget anywhere on the current home screen or else remove it by dragging the icon of the Red bin where is the app drawer.

    To place icons on a home screen selected, make sure that there are available for this space, tap and hold the icon in the app drawer, then the drawer closes and you will be on the home screen where you can place the icon of anywhere, it will fit.

    Long to place widgets and folders, tap an empty space on the screen and click on widgets or folders and select the one you want.  Then you can long press it and drag it to the location of your choice.  Just keep in mind that widgets usually take more space icon.

  • APEX... How to change home page

    When I started to develop the application I created a homepage... Now, I want my initial home page on a tab and want to create a new home page... Can I know how to do this...?

    Thanks in advance

    The home page is the page where your application is land once the connection. Usually, it's the 101 page and there is a login process where you need to change the page number:

    BEGIN
       wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login
                            (p_uname           => v ('P101_USERNAME'),
                             p_password        => :p101_password,
                             p_session_id      => v ('APP_SESSION'),
                             p_flow_page       =>    :app_id
                                                  || ':'
                                                  || 1
                            );

  • Whenever Firefox is closed and reopend, all settings (home page, security settings) are reset to zero by default.

    I opened the menu, select the option and the change of things like my homepage, I track my preferences and advanced settings. Every time I close Firefox and then reopen it, my settings are returned to the default settings. Maybe I'm missing a box 'Reset all settings on reboot' I accidentally checked, but I do not. Any help will be great.

    I appreciate it.

    Hello

    Make sure that you have no third-party application, such as an antivirus, preventing your preferences to be saved. Some protection software have a feature that protects your preferences be changed by malicious software, but also you can change your own settings. • Smartphones blackBerry how to customize the menu of the home page?

    I can see how to move the icons in the main menu, but how can I move them from the main menu on the home page?

    No problem!

    Yes the Blackberries are compatible radio, but no FM radio, it's on the internet or satellite radio. At least for my 8130 Pearl.  In my view, there are other blackberries that have FM radio.  Don't quote me on that well.  So I Sprint: in Applications, click on Sprint TV > Sprint Radio (at least that's how I access).  And depending on the type of data/blackberry plan you have, some of the stations are free and others you need to subscribe to.

  • How can I reinstall the favorite icon at the top of the home page?

    On the line from the top of my home page, the line that has the arrow download and homepage icon and icon menu to open, I used to have a star for bookmarking a page and icon for favorites. These two icons have disappeared. How do I get them back on the same line?

    Note that may have removed the buttons on the Navigation toolbar by accident.

    If you right click on an item to toolbar in normal mode (non-personnaliser) mode, then you can remove this item from the toolbar.

    • "Remove from toolbar" will remove this element of the Navigation toolbar and moves it to the palette to customize (Firefox '3-bar' menu button > customize)
    • "Go to the Menu" will move this point '3' dropdown menu Firefox button bar
    • "Move to the toolbar" in the "3-bar" Firefox dropdown menu button will move that point to the toolbar
  • The quick link to my e-mail account button disappeared from my Firefox home page. How can I go back there again?

    When I used click the Internet Firefox icon to mount on my home page, the top of the screen gave me directly click on the link my hotmail email a/c. For some reason, which has disappeared. I can always do so via the Internet Explorer icon, but the settings are different, and the system accepts any text as easily as it did when using Firefox. Could someone tell me please how (in words a techno phobe can understand and follow) insert this link on the home page of Firefox. Thank you very much...

    The button was perhaps in your bookmarks toolbar. Can you ensure that the bar? You can turn toolbars on or off using one of these methods to display a list of the toolbar:

    • Right click on an empty area of the tab bar, or the "+" button on the tab bar
    • button '3-bar' menu > customize > show/hide toolbars
    • Press the ALT key to activate the classic menu bar temporarily, and then view > toolbars

    Who help me?

    In addition, you can access your Hotmail account using http://hotmail.com/ and Microsoft will redirect you to the secure login page.

  • How to get new tabs open to the correct home page?

    When I open new tabs, they just go to a Google search page, which is very frustrating, especially when I open a new tab and try to type in the URL bar, but as soon as he finished to load Google it blanks what I typed and going on the Google site. In other words, "in white" new tabs do not open the Favorites page or even my home page. They open to Google. How to change that? In other words, how can I get the tabs to stop opening to the Google and start to open my home page or favorite screen? Thank you!

    You can change the pref browser.newtab.url on the topic: config page and set to the desired page to open.

    See also this article on the page tab (topic: newtab):

    If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  • How to define a group of Web sites as a home page

    I want to configure my home page so that it is a group of Web sites. Similar to what you see when I click on the button tab. BUT I want to clarify what these Web sites and I want that they NEVER to change. Can I do this? Is the case, how?

  • How to open my home page in a new tab in firefox 13, as I had done for years?

    Since I've just updated to firefox 13, I can customize is no longer where a new tab opens with the 'new new tab page"feature. I got my new tab open to my homepage for years, this is how I am used to it, and it's frustrating that I've now spent so much time trying to get around this new "convenience". Just to clarify: I would like that my new tabs to open to my home page. not a white page and not frequently visited tab page.

    You can change it if you don't mind not peeking under the covers in Firefox about: config preferences editor.

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter the desired value:

    (i) (default) Page thumbnails

    browser.newtab.url = about:newtab

    (ii) Virgin tab

    browser.newtab.url = about:blank

    (iii) integrated Firefox home page

    browser.newtab.url = about:home

    (iv) any other page

    browser.newtab.url = full URL to the page

    Press Ctrl + t to open a new tab and check that it worked. Fixed?

  • How to integrate a BI publisher report into the fusion app home page?

    Hello

    I have been a proponent of the ADF, new fusion app and BI publisher. We use Oracle Fusion Application version 11.1.7.0.0 for the implementation of compensation and BI publisher is a part of it.

    I developed a report editor BI, placed under the shared folder-Custom, to incorporate the same in the merger enforcement home page. By following the video How to embed a report in a dashboard sale?-YouTube, I followed steps below

    1 administration-> work area page to customize

    2. add content

    3 click on "reports and analytics.

    4. click on 'BIPresentationServer '.

    5. file sharing

    6 custom

    Question: If I have reports under this 'Custom' folder, it says "empty folder". It shows that the 'analysis', but not all reports. Problem is not with this single file but all. I also made sure that I am able to see all the reports when I browse using Navigator-> tools - > reports and analyses.

    Anyone of you can guide me on what is the issue and what to do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the link. I'm reading for a better understanding.

    I come to know of SR that in order to see the BI Publisher in the list of servers of presentation of values, we must incorporate the report BI Publihser inside an OTBI dashboard.

    So we need to create a "Dashboard" folder (it is wort then only we are able to see via fusion apps. Select and integrate), dashboard and then and add the report wanted to this dashboard. Now we can navigate to this dashboard, open it and select the page to include it.

    Could be useful for the ppl who faced a similar question. Thank you.

  • How to add a link to a Web page directly on my firefox home page

    Safari has a function which, on their homepage, are small boxes that are links to Web sites, you go often to which is so useful. Can I do this with Firefox? I don't want to type in my goto sites every time, especially if I go to them every day.
    Thank you!!

    Fred mentioned using the bookmarks toolbar. See this article on this subject.
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/bookmarks-toolbar-display-favorite-websites

    I don't use Safari in a good number of years, so I don't know what functions it has. The default Firefox Start Page / Home Page is incorporated into the code of Firefox and has no configurable element of the user where the user can add anything; However, it loads information from a secure server of Mozilla that changes from time to time.

    But you can define what you want to be "your" home page that appears whenever you open Firefox relatively easily.
