• Fillable PDF of Acrobat forms do not seem to work with third-party PDF readers. No way to avoid this?

  I wish that adobe would make their more accessible and easy to use PDF forms making them compatible third-party PDF readers. I do extensive PDF forms that have embedded fonts, and they only work with Adobe reader software. Huge problem when there are so many other PDF readers out there. Form is basically corrupt and fonts disappear or is replaced that is not supposed to happen. How to avoid a customer called me to say that the form does not work?

  It would be difficult to say exactly what are the "lines of text" without inspecting your PDF document.

  I was wondering if someone will be able to help. I created a PDF using Livecycle Designer and the form has been tested on Acrobat and Adobe reader and everything works accordingly.

  But the problem raised when a customer opens the form using a third party player, for example, Foxit Reader and nothing don't seem to work properly.

  What I want to know is, is there script that can be used to detect the drive used to fill the form? And how to prevent or restrict rather the user to only use Adobe Reader or Acrobat to fill out the PDF form?

  If you rely on JavaScript, then you will have very bad support of non Adobe software and on mobile devices.

  To warn the user that they meet your criteria, you can use a script that runs only in Reader or Acrobat. See my response in this thread.

  The Acrobat software, licensing restrictions you're referring only applies if activate you reader with Acrobat forms and distribute it to more than 500 recipients. Because you would not be allowing the reader to your forms (since the only software that can is Acrobat and Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions), you might not be in violation of the license agreement Acrobat. Note that so that your users to save the form with a desktop version (Win/Mac) of Adobe Reader prior to version 11, the document will have to be activated for the reader. Player 11 and DC, mobile versions of reader and some non Adobe PDF viewers are able to save not compatible PDF Acroforms, but not the forms enabled for the XFA created with LiveCycle name.

  InStr.lib is for instrument drivers.  User.lib is your own private libraries.

  I'm guessing that you are on a 64 bit OS.  So you should look in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW (20XX) \instr.lib

My foglight server is a windows box, so I am using windows scripting and I installed the last integration Foglight cartridge. When virgo server is running to eclipse (localhost:9443), the plugin works fine. The problem is when the plugin is installed on a vcenter and launched WebClient connected to vcenter(vCenterDNS:9443), a thirdParty/pkg/C NoClassDefFoundError (alias: thirdParty /pkg/c) error is thrown as seen in the newspapers of blank server (for a class in the third container). Import-package all declarations of export-package look good.

  I'm under MacOS Sierra. I am connected to my iCloud account. I activated the option Desktop and Documents, but I did NOT activate the option optimize Mac storage, because I wanted to make sure that all my files would be available locally, just in case, I would need to work without an internet connection.

  -J' noticed there now a menu iCloud in my sidebar in the Finder, with links to Documents and desktop.

  -J' also noticed that Documents is no longer presented in my favorites in my side bar of the Finder.

  -This last suggests that files saved in 'Documents' are not saved more on my HD... but only in iCloud, which isn't what I want.

  -Then, sailing in the Finder Macintosh HD/users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are more visible, as if these files are not saved in my home folder most. Which raises the question: where are My Documents and files on my HD, so they are still?

  With office and selected Documents, access to these files are now in the iCloud Drive, not in your home folder.

  My guess would be that they do not appear in your file because it would be confusing for many people to make them in two places.
