This card will work?

I was thinking about an update on my HP G5120uk desktop PC. And I was wondering if this card would work on my computer?

The map I was looking at was a

ASUS GeForce GTX 560 810 MHz 1 GB DirectCU PCI-Express HDMI

Hello

I am pleased that you measured for this card. I hope that the radiator of the map is low enough for the card to fit.

Try the Corsair CX500.

As long as the 4G modem is EM7345 http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/pd031021 it will work almost everywhere in the world except US.

According to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Europe the only problem is the network to broadband UK on strips of LTE TDD 42 and 43. Other FDD UK networks will work.

  • [p7-1240] How can I find out what graphics cards will work with my motherboard?

I recently went through the nightmare of trying to install a Gigabyte GTX 650 in my PC. After a few days of struggle and scouring the internet for answers, I discovered that it is not compatible with the BIOS on my motherboard, and HP does not update the BIOS. I returned the card and is now seeking a new, but I'm not sure what card works now, since my computer meet the requirements of system for the graphics card and it stil ldid does not work. Because the GPU manufacturers do not list the specifications of the BIOS under system requirements, how can I know if a graphics card will work with my system?

My computer is a p7-1240 with a 520W PSU upgrade and approximeately 11 "of space to install the card.

    Thexn, welcome to the forum.

The problem is a lot of video cards latest require the computer to have a complete UEFI BIOS.  HP began using one in mid-October 2012.  Before that date, the BIOS is the legacy.  This is why the video card does not work with your computer.

I don't know what you would spend on a card, but MSI is a GTX 750ti which is a VBIOS hybrid.  It has a switch to change to inheritance or UEFI.  Is there a video link directly below the image of a card.  Paul of Newegg gives a complete description of the map.

I like the best EVGA cards.  Their Support gave me a lot of information on their cards.  However, you will need to return to a GT 640 map to find one of their cards that does not require the UEFI BIOS.  They have a few updates for their BIOS' are which solves the problem, but we must call them for accurate maps.

  • What graphics card will work with my Dell U2711 to 2560 x 1440?

I just bought a Dell U2711 monitor I want to use with Photoshop at its native resolution of 2560 x 1440. I also have a Dell E2311H to use dual monitor with it in a configuration.

The monitors are connected to a card mother with an integrated video chipset ATi Radeon 4200 with DVI - D and regular 15-pin output video under AMD Gigabyte MA785GM.

However, the 4200 chipset does not seem to support the resolution 2560 x 1440 Dell as all I get are blurry tinted color characters. The ClearType text gives me just blurry garbage.

I use the Dual-link cable that comes with the Dell U2711.

What cheap graphics cards will work for me with this arrangement of material?

Refresh rate is not important. I'm not a gamer.

This video card has two DVI and DP and 2560 x 1440 60 Hz will do.

  • This card will fit in my XPS 8700?

I recently bought an XPS 8700 and thought to upgrade his graphics card. I'm looking at one is the EVGA 4 GB Geforce GTX 770 here:

    http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclocked-Dual-Link-Graphics-04G-P4-3774-KR/dp/B00E5AEIKE/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1382478542&sr=1-1&keywords=EVGA+GeForce+GTX+770+Superclocked+with+ACX+Cooler+4+GB+GDDR5+256-Bit+Dual-Link+DVI-I%2FDVI-D+HDMI+DP+SLI+Ready+Graphics+Card+04G-P4-3774-KR

The card is listed with the dimensions of 12.9 x 9.5 x 2.9 inches. After looking at the inside of the case I am afraid that this card does not. Can someone help me with the question of whether this card will fit in a case of XPS 8700?

Either by the way, I am aware of the problems of compatibility with the 8700 UEFI and have already bought a beefier power supply for a new card.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hello NinthLayer,

Dell XPS 8700 has never been tested with the EVGA 4 GB GeForce GXT 770. However, few users have installed nVIdia GeForce GTX 770 2 GB successfully on their XPS 8700. The nVIdia GeForce GTX 770 2 GB size is 10.3 "x 4.3" x double Slot. So before you buy the card, I suggest you take the computer to a local store and check if the graphics card works on the system.

Please note: the EVGA 4 GB GeForce GXT 770 requires minimum of POWER supply 600W with PCI-E power 2 connector x 8 pins.

    I hope this helps!

  • This configuration will work for CS5.5?

This Dell will work? Intel i7-2600? 16 GB dual channel SRFI SDRAM at 1333 Mhz, nvidea geforce gt530? Want to buy Production Premium, but have little budget, do not need top of the line computer performance, just realistic... Any advice greatly appreciated. (I couldn't find in the tech specs what video cards are supported). Also seeks to Canon XF 100, I think that it is supported by CS5.5, right?

GT 530 he cut very thin. Better use a GTX 560 Ti, or best. Use at least three 7200 SATA disks. And Yes, the XF series is fully supported. Check out the Adobe Forums : which PC to build? An update...

I have a hp p6203w that the tv tuner card will work with win7 64 bit

  • PCI vid card will work on MBs that have a PCI-E slot?

I noticed that the PCI video cards will not work with a motherboard that has a PCI-e slot.  My ACER machine would use my GeForce FX 5200 (relented and bought a WG 220).  Now I have this HP Pavilion a1510n Media Center Edition 2005 that will not recognize an ATI Radeon x 1300.

The PSU has more that required, Antec 380W Green (even a pcie 6pin).  I tried to change the main display in the BIOS to the PCI, but should not be.  Also tried to install the drivers, then change the BIOS setting, still will not take.

I noticed that MBs with AGP are able to use PCI vid without the same question cards.

Is it me?  Other people running into that?  I know its sad to not use the pcie slot, but I have to work with the hardware I have.

Y at - it a trick to make the thing work?

    Found!

Although I've been using a PCI video card, BIOS asked me to choose the PCI-E option from the list of video devices of the pcie, pci and onboard.

The PCI option wouldn't work for the PCI in the vid!

    (HP Pavilion a1510n MCE2005-> ATI Radeon x 1300)

Never thought to try that, but when I was watching the IRQ I saw that he was not part reserved for PCI-E.  It is the question of the nature of the PCI-E and so tried it because I was thinking about it.

I hope this helps someone else.

  • This card will suit my Precision 490 workstation?

First of all, I want to thank Hunter for this thread and JMichael (and all) for reactions/answers interesting and very informative!

I bought a refurbished Dell Precision 490 work coming arrived today. (yay!) The one I bought has the following specifications:

    • Dell Precision 490 workstation cases
    • Card mother Dell
    • Two processors dual-core Intel Xeon 2.0 GHz each for Total of 4 units of execution
    • 500 GB SATA hard drive
    • ATI FireGL V3350 video card with DVI output double
    • 750 watts power

I bought (after consultation with Tiger Direct) from NewEgg.com (renovated) graphics card include:

01 G-P3-1371-RX of EVGA GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1 GB 256 - bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x 16 HDCP Ready SLI Support video card

In the specifications of the card it says that it is "double slot" However, the specs on the 490 show that it has a PCI-e 2.0 x 16 slot. The guys from Tiger Direct (after looking at the specs for the 490) said he would do. So my question is - is this the case? (no pun intended... well, maybe a little )

In addition, given that the map is a refurb, it comes not with cables or CDs with drivers. I found the article on EVGA website and saw that he (originally) comes with two cables for the power - it looks like two cables of 6 pin Molex (3rd picture from the left row, at the top), it also says:

    Requirements
At least a 450 Watt power supply.
(Recommended minimum power supply + 12 volt current rating of 24 amperes).
Two dongles available power of PCI-E 6 pin

And people to revisit the issue on NewEgg.com said that they had to order power cables separated - then... I ordered two of these. Those who will work with the Precision 490 and this card?

Additional information: the 490 I bought has the following:

    • 2 slot PCI-e x 8 wired as x 4
    • 1 PCI - e x 16 graphics slot
    • 2 slots for 64-bit / 100 MHz PCI - X with support for 3.3V or universal cards
    • 1 slot PCI 32-bit / 33 Mhz

I really am crossing fingers and toes that they will work together, because even if I don't play (except SolSuite Solitaire lol) I have do many 3d work in 3dsMax, (CUDA is so extremely important!), Daz3d and also a lot of work in the Adobe CS5 programs, so I had to switch to the Precision 490 workstation (am also installation of 8 GB of RAM (4 x 2 GB each) for a total of 10) GB of RAM. Hoping it will be a monster and my models will look stunning in my pictures!

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Given that the card mother a 490, 3 PCI-E slots with the 16 X being in the Center, I would say that Yes it will fit in the slot.

If it fits the length wise or past the heat sinks I have no idea.

  • This memory will work with the 23-g010 Pavilion?

I have a HP Pavilion 23-g010 all in one PC of office tomorrow. I have a question about RAM upgrades. I have a HP Pavilion laptop 2010nr g7. I looked at the specs and they look like both use PC3-12800-1600 MHz memory chips. No one knows for sure if the memory of the laptop will work in the Office? I would like to extend that 4 GB in the office by adding 4 GB of the laptop (to give the office 8GB). This would allow me to save money in new purchasting RAM for now.

Does anyone know if the memory of these two machines are compatible?

    I don't blame you.

No, if the memory is not compatible, the PC boots or something like that.

It should not destroy your PC.

Just make sure that you unplug before working inside the PC.

According to me, that it will work fine as long as the tensions are the same.

These two circuits must be of 1, 5V.

Even if the chip is 1.35v, the worst-case scenario is that the PC does not start.

Some memory claims DDR3L (low voltage = 1.35v).

  • These ram cards will work with my hp pavilion a1700n PC

I bought a set of ram cards and they do not work with my pc. I just want to make sure that these maps will work before I buy them my pc specs here is http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00820191 cards are off to ebay here http://www.ebay.com/itm/190687891922?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT & _trksid = p3984.m1438.l2649 #ht_2222wt_93... I think they will, but I just want to be sure they will thank you first.

According to the specs, it seems that PNY memory referenced in your post should work. Your motherboard accepts up to 4 x 1 GB PC2-4200 or PC2-5300 240pin DIMM and the PNY DIMM are 2 x 1 GB PC2-5300, 240pin.

  • This processor will work in my CV?

I took a chance on this processor on ebay cause the price was right and the hope that this will work but HPs specs on my mobo leaves scratching me my head... the model of the proc that I bought is (AMD Athlon II X 4 620 2.6 GHz Quad - Core (ADX620WFK42GI) processor) my computer I want to put in is a HP pavalon p6203w

the motherboard is a M2N68-(Narra5), it has an AMD Athlon II X 2 215 2700 MHz @ which is an AM3 socket and on their spec for proc upgrade page it says

    TDP: 95W
Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
NOTE: only the socket AM2 processors + are supported with this motherboard.
    AMD Phenom II Quad-Core
    AMD Phenom II Triple-Core

    AMD Athlon X 2 (B) (AM2 +)

that those are my options, so I hope someone can get to know if it will work, before I try to install it thanks

It looks like it might, but keep in mind that when Windows detects that you have a new processor, it could decide to-authenicate your license if it is an OEM license.  I know it would make if you change motherboards, but perhaps someone else can talk to the processor being changed.  Whatever you do, don't forget to do a full system backup on an external hard drive before making any changes.

    Good luck.
