This connection is untrusted; Unknown issuer

The site is https://dvd.netflix.com. Me that chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.xul Gets the message "the certificate is not reliable because it has not been verified as issued by a trusted authority with the help of a secure signature."

The certificate has been issued by:

CN = Symantec Class 3 Secure Server CA - G4
UO = Symantec Trust Network
O = Symantec Corporation
C = US

The validity dates are in the range (09/07/2015-10/07/2017) and my PC clock corresponds to my cell phone.

How can I fix?

Release of Firefox, deleting cert8.db in the profile and then folder by restarting Firefox seems to have solved the problem. (I found this in response to a post about a similar problem.

    So I had the breakdown and failure of the internet last night because of a rainstorm last night. When I get up to power everything and control the internet, Firefox has become completely crazy!

    I keep getting "this connection is untrusted" on almost every page of Facebook, YouTube and almost all the other sites I've tried. In addition to this I get an opening pop up asking you what Firefox should do with this file? Finally if I add an exception for this site, the page opens, do not know if it is the right term, not coded? No images, text and links.

    I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that has not worked.

    Earlier today, my PC clock set far in the future. I fixed it, don't think anything of it. Currently, he is correct.

  • This connection is Untrusted how fix this?

    OK for the past few days now, I've been making this connection is untrusted on sites like google and facebook and my clock is set right so I have no idea what to do and I also get pages that look like this http://gyazo.com/e6ec92875781ee25ac3bcd3783e08b5f.

    Recently, a common problem is not set up to work with your Firefox security software. Some security suites include a filtering feature. In order to filter secure connections (HTTPS URL), the security software presents a false certificate for Firefox so that it can intercept and stand in the middle of the secure connection. For Firefox to rely on these certificates, you may need to do something like import root certificate, or click an item in the settings of your security software.

    But I'm not aware of Norton that causes this problem, so I'm suspicious that it is something less benign.

    If you have added to the Exceptions, see the section "issued by" on one or two of the exceptions made to learn more about the source of this problem.

    the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced > mini-onglet Certificates > "View certificates" button > Servers tab

    Click on a certificate and use the button display. The type of transmitter, you might find is:

    The name associated with your software security, such as ESET, BitDefender, etc..
    Sendori (indicates Sendori unwanted software)
    FiddlerRoot (shows the unwanted software named similarly to BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, backup)
    Something else
    If you have not added Exceptions, you can click the Add Exception button in the error page, and then in the dialog box, click view certificate or certificate to see issued it by section. You have no need to finish adding an exception.

    What do you see?

    I don't know what happened, but lately, Firefox has become unusable. I can't even Google maps to work, and it's simply because of the following warning:

    What should I do?

    If you normally connect to this site without problems, this error can mean that someone is trying to impersonate the identity of the site, and you should not continue.

    If you understand what is happening, you can tell Firefox to start to trust this site identification. Even if you trust the site, this error may mean that someone is tampering with your connection.

    Add no exceptions unless you know there is a good reason why this site uses no identification of confidence.

    Not reliable? REALLY? Maps.Google.com is not approved! Oh, and support.mozilla.org is ALSO not reliable? I use Chrome for this post because in the case of support.mozilla.org, there is no option that allows me to the site.

    Virtually all the sites that I have this problem and Firefox is now all but unusable for me. And I'm on a company computer, is not as if I had a lot of options here. And this isn't our business network, because only a few of us have this problem.

    How can I work again and disable this 'feature' of Firefox?

    Thank you

    Unfortunately, fiddler2 certificates issuer may be a sign of unwanted software on your pc that is to intercept the secure network traffic. go to the system control panel and uninstall programs such as BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, backup or other software that seems suspicious and did not get intentionally installed by you.

  • Browser is loading the websites completely, while others are not and others with "this connection is untrusted"

    I've just updated 18.0.1 last night and the problems began immediately. Even this site, I had to leave as an exception then when it loaded it has no color, no menus, etc. What is happening on facebook, some parts of the Amazon, etc. I get "this connection is untrusted" when I try to load gmail, connect to Amazon, trying to load this support page, etc. However I have no problem with google.com, wiki and other sites randomly. I had a similar problem with Internet Explorer showing a 404 error when I visited SSL protected pages but to do a restore of the system a month ago to correct this. All other bowsers are / were very good.

    I installed Firefox 3.x month last to test something that is when the problem started. I have since uninstalled Firefox 3.x and reinstalled the latest version. I deleted all the preferences/settings, disabled modules and reinstalled many times. I did a Windows system restore to before that the problem started with no luck.

    The time / Date on my computer are correct. I have no firewall other than the windows one. I had no antivirus (netbook) until I installed a (Avast) yesterday to see if a virus was causing issues (found nothing). This problem arises on any internet connection (tested to work and home).

  • Firefox won't open Google without a mistake "this connection is untrusted", and no option to obtain a temporary certificate is available.

    This problem arose for the first time a few months ago. but I managed to work around it by clicking on "I understand the risks" on the warning page "this connection is untrusted", then adding a security exception. This fix would work for the lengths of time, sometimes for days, sometimes for minutes. Now, after upgrading to the latest version of Firefox, I get the same caveat of security, but the option to click on "I understand the risks" disappeared. I get this error message on the page of technical details: (error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

    I have everything listed here repeatedly made: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/connection-untrusted-error-message

    Your help would be greatly appreciated!

    In Firefox, you must import into the authorities. The certificate will generally have a .cer extension.
