This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. Windows Vista. Opening programs

I remember a couple of months. I put a restriction on some programs/software, but after a few months later. I don't know how to remove it. I tried to go to user accounts and disable the UAC, but it's always the same. I can't find the GPO, and I don't remember setting one up. Now I can't open 2 of my programs/software from office because of this. Please let me know what I need to do to get it up and running again.

You can also try to allow startup items by following the steps.

1. click on Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

2. on the general tab, click Normal startup.

3. click on apply and OK.

4. When you are prompted, click restart.

5. after the computer starts, check if you are able to solve the problem.
