This.Play external function

Hello

I wonder how I can tell the main timeline to play an external function on the html wrapper?

Thank you

Rodrigo

Store a reference to the timeline you want to order in a global variable. So put something like that in the first picture of the scenario:

theTimelineIWantToControl = this;

  • How to call external functions without one. DLL (just using a.) H and. LIB file)?

    Hi all

    in fact, I am facing difficulties on how to get an external function is called in CVI (Version 2009).

    I was delivered with a. H file and a. LIB file to call an external function of my project CVI. The. H file looks like this:

    void exportedFunction(double *parameter);

    As far as I know, the external function was written with MS Visual C++ 6.

    So, I tried to link statically to the al extern like this function:

    -Add the. H file and the. LIB file to the CVI project

    -#include the. Folder H when I needed to call the external function

    -do the external function call

    During construction I get unresolved CVI external function call error, so this seems not work.

    I did some research autour and stood up with two possible problems. Maybe one of you can help me get a bit further and do work things out.

    (1) of the code of the 'real' function inside the DLL file that was not delivered to me. Or y at - it a way to get concrete results (calling external functions) with just one. H and a. LIB file (with none. Included DLL file)?

    (2) the external function does not export according to the rules of Style 'C '. The signature of the function in the. H file shows some things don't like

    extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) void __stdcall ...

    Or maybe it's a combination of these two issues (missing. DLL + bad export style function)?

    I guess I could get around the incorrect service export style when I managed to write a wrapper around the original function that actually uses Style C exporters. But I guess I need to the. DLL file for this test as well.

    Thank you very much for your answers.

    Best regards

    Bernd

    There is no need for the stuff of dllexport. There is also the option of a static library without any DLL.  But the "extern"C"' is essential, because it forces the C++ compiler, which was probably used to compile the library to use the C calling convention.

    If you are unable to ask the library vendor to provide a version that was compiled using C calling convention is the way to write a wrapper with VC ++ 6 around this library that functions using C calling convertion reexports. Something like

    extern 'C' myfunc1 type0 (type1 arg1,...) {

    Back to func1 (arg1,...);

    }

    for each function, you must use.

    BTW. "unresolved symbol" is the error message from the linker, you can expect if you try to bind the C code against a generation of library with the C++ calling convention.

  • Add to this play list not available hard drive external

    Because of a move, I recently spent from a desktop to a Vista laptop hand without as storage space. I have all my old content on an external hard drive, but when I try to play music files in Windows Media Player, the only way I can open is them is by clicking on the individual files and add them to the current playlist... in other words, I can't right-click on the folder of the artist and play everything. I added all the files in my library, but it is not affecting the folder options. I copied some things on the record my music on the laptop and I don't have the option here, but I don't have the space to copy everything like that. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi - I think I see what you mean... If I'm wrong in my interpretation, it is probably because the music on your external drive folder must optimize. Select the parent folder (best to create one - I call mine x-music - if it does not already exist)-right click and select Properties, and then on the Customize tab as shown here by selecting 'Music' in the menu dropdown. There is a box hidden under the drop-down list in this image which needs checking (apply to subfolders) Finally click 'Apply'-'OK' and then you should get the opportunity to "Play with WMP" when you click on a folder.

    NB - it may take a little time to apply the changes.

    Ric's soon.

  • Problem call Matlab external function under Labview 7.1

    Hello

    I have the problem when I want to call my m.file function in the script Matlab under Labview 7.1, that labview does not seem to be able to find this external Matlab function. I searched this forum, someone talked about setting search path in the tool-> option-> Matlab search path, but it seems that it does not exist in the version 7.1.

    Is it possible to solve this problem in version 7.1 or update to the latest version, the only solution?

    Thank you

    Hello

    I think you're confusing the LabVIEW MathScript nodes and the MATLAB® script.  The MathScript node is introduced in LabVIEW 8.0 and the setting of path search that you speak to MathScript, reason why it does not exist in LabVIEW 7.1.  Look at the example of differential equation Lorenz for the MATLAB script node.  It shows how to set the path of research to be compared to the VI.  The example is found in the node of script examples\scriptnode\MATLAB - Lorenz Diff Eq.vi.

" A few solutions that I found for this search refer to an update to the SQL Server.  The only thing I tried to do lately is to update a printer driver, all was working fine before this.  I got an SQL error on a website trying to access the FAQ section.  I found an article to download an update to the original version of SQL Server 2005 SP2 but not sure if that's what I really do.  Can anyone help?

    CRTet,

    Error 35 is not a common Windows error. It is very likely that the registry scanner above will only cause more problems.
    The error you get is from your application. Given that this is not generated by Windows, I highly recommend directly contacting the support of bookkeeper.

  • listening to external function calls

    I'm trying to get a global nav that has in the HTML page as my only edge comp is integrated in to perform the function to talk to my dashboard computer and perform a function that I installed in my computer of edge.

    Make sense?

    Inside of my edge Comp in the composition ready, I have a simple function:

    SYM. MuteSound = function()

    {

    Console.log ("Mute is listening");

    }

    and in the page that occupies the computer, I have a toggle function:

    function togglePause (toggle) {}

    Console.log ("TogglePause work");

    SYM. MuteSound();

    /*

    * Pause/mute global toggle.  Insert a custom code required to interact with this

    * to cut, pause or do something especially while the net asset value is open.

    Accepts a Boolean value: true = pause, false = reactivate

    * It is called automatically when navigation is open or closed.

    */

    };

    The togglePause is turned off correctly fireing but is not excecuting the sym. MuteSound(); a function which is inside my edge Comp...

    Does anyone know how I should properly structured so that they play nice?

    Hello

    Discover this stackoverflow thread - interviews on how to navigate to a symbol on the stage, and we should be able to use a similar syntax to access a function:

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/13556152/Adobe-edge-control-a-specific-symbol-from-HTML - page

    Elaine has also reported an example:

    https://creative.Adobe.com/share/2e160010-41ca-460A-83a6-62b75b3b83bd

    Keep your sym. MuteSound function where you have to Stage.compositionReady.

    Try this in your html page:

    This should help you to scope of 'symbol' of the Composition of edge

    var myEdgeAnim = AdobeEdge.getComposition("nameOfYourEdgeCompositionHere");

    function togglePause (toggle) {}

    Console.log ("TogglePause work");

    myEdgeAnim.MuteSound ();

    };

  • External function with a pointer to a callback within a DLL function

    Hello.

    I am loading a DLL and try to call a function with the following prototype:

    Func1(HANDLE, hHandle, LPVOID (*pCallback)(UINT, UINT LPVOID), CHAR* sPath)

    Now, I have no problem with the types of variables, because CVI 9.0.1 recognizes each of them and I have no problem with LoadLibrary() and GetProcAddress().

    But, how to pass a pointer to a callback function that is inside the DLL, I am trying to use.

    I tried to declare the callback like this:

    LPVOID (CALLBACK Callback)(UINT iDevNo, UINT evEvent, LPVOID pData);

    and call the Func1 function like this:

    (Func1)(hHandle, &Callback, NULL);

    but it irritates me:

    Symbol not defined "_Callback@12" referenced in "source.c.

    Hopefully I can help.

    I appreciate your time on this issue.

    Kind regards.

    Hi Daniel,.

    He must first make sure that the callback function is exported by the DLL, so the program that uses the DLL can access the identifier of the function name. Then you must make sure that you call GetProcAddress not only on Func1, but also on the exported callback function. You must store the two address function values in their respective function pointers. You can then pass the pointer to callback in the form of argument to the call to Func1.

    It's probably cleaner if you set of typedefs for all your function pointers, in the calling program:

    typedef LPVOID (__stdcall * CallbackType) (UINT, UINT, LPVOID);
    typedef? (__stdcall * Func1Type) (HANDLE, hHandle CallbackType, CHAR *);

    ...

    CallbackType CallbackPtr;
    Func1Type Func1Ptr;

    ...

    dllHandle = LoadLibrary ("... ») ;
    CallbackPtr = (CallbackType) GetProcAddress (dllHandle, 'Callback');
    Func1Ptr = (Func1Type) GetProcAddress (dllHandle, "Func1");

    ...

    Func1Ptr (..., hHandle, CallbackPtr, NULL);

    Boa kind!

    Luis
