  I recently had some problems with my Satellite A200 laptop computer screen freezes, do not restart correctly after hibernation and battery warnings displayed even if it is still plugged into the mains to low.   The main keyboard shortcuts are:

  SHIFT + P to select the pen tool

  Click to create a path with straight lines between points (hold down the SHIFT key to perfectly horizontal or vertical lines) or click and drag for curves by using levers extended to your desired shape.

  Press the Alt key (cursor changes in > when you hover over a point) and you can re - position for example to move one end of a lever regardless of the other end.

  Press Ctrl Key and cursor changes to the white pointer - click anywhere on the path to highlight all points while the Ctrl Key is pressed again to choose a single point. You can then refine this single point, for example by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

  You don't talk about preferences for the text tool. It would be for the character or the formatting. You talk about preferences for a frame type.

  You must create an object Style (window > Styles > object Styles) which creates a frame in the way that you want and apply like a style of object.

  When you select the Brush tool there are two points that appear at the end of the tools.  One is for the size of the brush, the other is for the shape of the brush.

  Something else to vary the size of the brush over is a zoom before or zoom out of the scene.  Size of the brush does not fit so if you do very small step the brush becomes very large comapratively.

  You can use the Profile Manager to create a new profile, then click on the button choose to set the location of this profile on the other disk.
