  VXLAN brought network are the breast of a data center (while you perform preparation VXLAN at the data center level), so it is not possible to expand on a virtual wire across domain controllers. vWires can extend it on different groups within a domain however controller.

• Problem with the PC Backup on the external DRIVE on the network drive home.

  I made backups of my laptop wirelessly through my router to my connecting external hard drive attached to my desktop, when I used Microsoft OneCare. Since then, OneCare is being abandoned, I decided to go to the basics of Microsoft (MS). Unfortunately, Ms Essentials doesn't have the features of OneCare. I try to perform a backup using the backup and Restore Center, however, I get an error message when I put backup settings to location network - error code: 0 x 80070534, no mapping between account names and security IDS was done... the results. Is there a KB or a fix for this problem? I've looked everywhere for answers and keep looking, however, I have found no solid solution (especially scams, i.e. pc scanners and fixers of registry error). How is it that I could make a backup without problem with OneCare (that I have no more:{{class=fontblue}} {.}) Now I try to do through the Center backup and restore, the backup does not work!   Thanks, I found the problem. I had to uncheck the ReadOnly property on the folder that I traced to use for my backup location on my HARD drive. In truth, the property read-only (checkbox) is not checked, it is filled (designates the system setting) with a green square in the box (on my Windows XP desktop). I'm sure that others have missed this little nuisance. It's cheating. I don't know how many times I looked at the folder that I use for my backups, forget to realize that the ReadOnly is the default setting for the file. I no longer get the error message: 0 x 80070534, no mapping between account names and security IDS was done. I can't believe it's just as simple as that! My backups work fine.

  My new MacBook Pro connects perfectly to my Time Capsule, but it is not all backups that are there.  I can't scroll through them as I can with my old MacBook Pro.  The MacBook still connect to Time Capsule well and see and scroll through all the backups it.

  Backups made by different computers must be used via migration assistant... not just opened in TM.

  Did you buy the m700 with WAN functionality?

  Usually the WAN indicator lights or flashes blue when the Wireless WAN function is activated.

  The E120 Edge is like the X121e GOBI 3000 or F5521gw will work. I tried a GOBI 2000 in my E120 with the same result as you.

• Windows 7 Home Premium... weekly back ups fail, get the message "backup failed."

  Recently my regular weekly back ups fail to find. Everything seems to go well until maybe halfway through the procedure when the backup stops & I get message "backup failed." Unfortunately, did not keep a note of relative error code... no useful guidance please.

  Flash drives are a medium of reasonable storage but not the best. I recommend that get you a disk 2.5 "500 GB hard in a USB enclosure. They cost less than $60.00. Here's why:

  • They tend to be more reliable than flash drives.
  • They have a much greater capacity.
  • You can (and should!) use them to store an image of your installation.

  The best scenario is to have both SMC routers on bridge mode and configure both on RV320 WAN interface with (PPPE, static IP, DHCP... He expense of your WAN connection)

  You have a quick question about MRR. Let's assume we have 2x5508s where a controller is acts as dedicated backup controller. There is no requirement for L3 roaming and therefore, mobility group function is disabled. My understanding is that, as mobility group is disabled, there is no other way for the backup controller get specific information of MRR from the PDC. So I believe that we need to set up a separate group of RF on each controller and configure identical settings of MRR so when failover of APs, affects the RRM would be minimal. Any advice on the recommended method to perform RRM?

  Mobility Group is different from that of the RF group. RF group is related to RRM, not mobility group, disabling mobility group does not affect the RRM. Once the two WLCs are configured in the same group of RF, two of them will get the same information of MRR.
