Thumbnails come

you wonder how the thumbnails are generated. I guess the thumbnails that appear in windows Explorer or Explorer adobe are generated by the browser and are not included in the original images right out of the camera, or I'm wrong about this. This also brings us to assume the when I upload an image on the internet that the thumbnail I see is embedded in the image metadata in order to establish a connection or a connection to this image. If this is the case, how to create a thumbnail and this link? Thanks in advance,

You are right. Explorer Windows saves these data in a file named "thumbs.db" and Adobe Bridge saves in. BridgeCache /. BridgeCacheT. These files are usually hidden from view but can be exposed in the Windows settings.

Most of the thumbnails that see you on the internet are the files duplicate of the bigger picture, simply recorded a size smaller. Try right click on the thumbnail of the web page and choose Save image. Then left click on the thumbnail to go to the bigger picture. Right-click on the image enlarged in the web page and choose Save image. You now have the miniature and the original image on your computer that you can study/analysis.

There are some image files formats where a preview/thumbnail is integrated with the original file.

In Muse, if you create a slideshow, thumbnails come up with it, is there a setting I'm missing?  I have over 100 photos and I don't want to create each individual thumbnail.

In the superposition of the web panel select AutoPlay and make the second retard.125.  that will prevent load as quickly as possible.  But that's how it works.  A workaround is to create a screenshot of it, to place this screenshot on the top of the html box in indesign.  Then when the page initially loads the users will still see this image until that loads html code.

  • BB10: qnxSystem.ALARM not firing

I use qnxSystem alarms and qnxSystem.runFrameCycle () to keep my application minimally active awakening so that he is in the background, so it can check the time every 20 seconds and turn the powerMode until throttled if the audible alarm is due to play.

Everything works perfectly in my PlayBook application and with BB10 it works perfectly, but only in debug mode. When I install a Release version , it seems that the alarm system stop light (or no effect) when the window is hidden. The app is just dead in the background!

(Even if the thumbnail comes up in the display, it doesn't always get all the events (active Frame not updated), but strangely, it can then be "awakened" by slightly waggle (scrolling up and down) the screen with thumbnails of the app)

Any thoughts on why this is happening? Or how I can get around it?

  • SVG image does not appear in the mobile version, but does in the desktop version

    Hello

I am new to the use of Muse and have created one before site in Muse. I took screenshots to show the problem I'm having.

I used Illustrator to create the image of the logo depending on whether I have save to SVG file:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 15.01.04.png

As you have probably guessed, I used a clipping mask to insert the purple Mason image in forms and text (this may be relevant to the problem, I don't know).

I then save out as a SVG with the following details as advised by Adobe:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 15.01.34.png

Before moving into Muse, I File > place the SVG file. "Unable to generate thumbnail" comes in both desktop and phone:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 15.03.26.png

Anyway, I uploaded to FTP message on my site. While SVG is perfectly displayed on my desktop browser, it not only shows any on my phone's browser:

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 15.13.18.png

This is not only happening on my phone, I visited the same Web site on several phone devices and the SVG image still does not appear. Ideas why this happens?

Have I totally missed something on file formats for versions of mobile browser in Muse?

Also - in illustrator, I saved the SVG logo for the mobile version as a SVG as SMALL as that I saved to the desktop version.

    Thank you

Use a PNG file. I see nothing in your logo that would justify using nothing else. You're not scaling it, there is no interaction and everything that you do is hide some pixel data already. Forgive me, but using a SVG makes no sense at all. In addition one would need to see the file, but my guess would be that once more 'reactive' setting incorporates incorrect data. Wouldn't be the first time...

  • Resize the image and maintain proportions

    Hi all

I'm trying to resize large JPEG images and maintain proportions. I actually managed to write the code, but it's huge, so I wonder if there is an easy way. The next question is about the image resolution. I resize the photos that are 600 and more dpi. Is there a way ColdFusion can resize and reduce the resolution to 72 dpi?

Thanks for the tips and links

tomtomtom wrote: And these thumbnails come in a resolution of 600 dpi

No, they don't.  The files have no IPR - one INPUT (and OUTPUT) devices have IPR.

Files have the resolution, depth of color, of compression and file format.

You mix up the quality of OUTPUT with the FILE data.

You have an image file which is 100px by 100px.  This is the data FILE.  The file has so 10 000 pixels of data (not much for a photo).

Now if you want the OUTPUT to a monitor at 72 dpi 10 000 these pixels will be appear in a box ~1.38 inches on ~ 1.38.

If you output to a printer at 300 dpi, it will appear in a box ~0.33 x ~0.33 inches.

The quality of the image file is the same, but the output determines how small the points are for each pixel, and therefore the size of the overall picture.

Things that affect the quality of the image file are how many points there are in the file (resolution) how these points are pressed (compression) and file (lossless and lossy) format and how many colors can be used for each point (color depth)

I think you should learn more about the use of your Windows 7 PC first.  As a first step, go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows7/help/videos/finding-your-files

    and they are also useful

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-GB/Windows7/help/videos/personalizing-your-PC

You also find more help in Windows help in your Start menu [the thing that appears when you click the Start button in the lower left corner of your screen].

If you have someone who can stand on you shoulder & you talk through the use of Windows 7 that would be even better.

In the meantime, do not delete that wheels more because I think they could be your own photos.

  • Recently upgraded to 12.5.1.21, the majority of the missing artist thumbnails

Windows 8.1, just upgraded to iTunes 12.5.1.21 in order to then get iOS 10.

  • Photo thumbnails take up 11 GB. How to decrease

I use iphoto to store my photos... My understanding is that only the photos are stored on my iPhone. It is said of 11 GB of photos are on the iPhone. Is the way to choose the albums show on my iPhone? Or another way to reduce the amount of space photo are used?

If you have iCloud library enabled, you can not choose - it is a proposal, all or nothing. If you want to reduce the amount of storage Photos used, choose a local library optimized to retain. With this option, Photos will dynamically reduce the size of the library when storage space is running low. Her enemies that selectively reducing the resolution of the images stored on the phone. Some will simply tiny thumbnails, but this occurs according to the needs, not all thumbnails becoming all at onece.

If you want to control which images are stored on your phone, turn off iCPL and return to the sync via iTunes, then turn on my photo stream for automatic synchronization of new images.

  • not identical to the photo thumbnail

I use Photos 1.5 running OS 10.11.4 on a Macbook Pro.

My photo library is 170 GB. Things seem to work. BUT...

Sometimes (often) when I double click on a photo to see the image thumbnail for this photo in the thumbnail column on the left shows a completely different picture.

I rebuilt my photo library several times, but the problem remains.

Try to rebuild the thumbnails by rotating back.  This will create new thumbnails.

You can select several thumbnails at once, enter ⌘R, and then ⌥⌘R key combination to turn their back.

Rotation is lossless editing and can be done in Thumbnails view.  But not to select all thumbnails at once, try it in smaller batches.
