Thunderbird crashes and I don't have it up long enough to put it in safe mode.

How do I set safe mode if I have 5 seconds? I have already disabled the suspicious modules, but now the time of collision are still shorter.

Also, for several months, I couldn't update to thunderbird. Could this be related to the accident?

Thanks for your help,
Marina

Mac OS X

Hold down the Option key when starting your Mozilla application. (If the Profile Manager opens, select a profile and then hold down the Option key again while clicking on the button to launch Firefox, Thunderbird or SeaMonkey) [5]

As an alternative method, go to utilities (in the Applications folder) and open Terminal, then run:

For Thunderbird:

       /Applications/Thunderbird.app/Contents/MacOS/thunderbird-bin -safe-mode

If you have installed the application to another location, modify the path as such. This is the command line parameter "- safe - mode" which is crucial here.
