Thunderbird keeps by default to use the incorrect printer. How can I fix it?

My default printer for all programs should be a Canon printer. Thunderbird by default keeps the Adobe PDF printer. I can change it to the correct printer when the print dialogue box appears, but it is annoying to have to do every time. I don't know what changed so that by default in thunderbird is adobe.

Here is a simple solution that has worked for me.

I am on Windows 7 and I have two HP printers installed. I don't know if it works for the Adobe PDF printer. Thunderbird has never missed this for me.

In Control Panel, look for Hardware & Sound. Under this heading, click on printers and display devices.

Open (double-click) the printer that you want to disable in Thunderbird.

Double-click Customize your printer.

Click the Advanced tab.

Select available to, and then once you do not usually print email (I chose 12 am to 01:00). I do not change the setting of priorities.

Click on apply and then OK.

That should do it. I stopped and restarted, and Thunderbird, the default printer is now the one that I want.
