  Hi, as you know, you can change the number of tiles on the Page of the new tab to zoom in or out (Ctrl and + key, or Ctrl and - key).

  If you want to keep the same zoom setting when a new tab is clicked: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.newtab.preload and double-click on it to change the 'value' of true to False.

  It is also possible about: config to change the maximum number of tiles by scrolling to the browser.newtabpage.columns (or Rows), then right-click > modify to set a new number of 'value '.

  If there are problems with the implementation at day then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version and remove the Firefox program folder to remove all remaining files.

  Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

  When you open a window and resize it, and then close, the new window will remain the same, until what you restart. Once you restart the computer, this is the default value. There is no option in windows to keep. However, you can try work around here.
   
  Open a window and make it the size you want
  Open a 2nd window and are the same size.

  The 1st window to the front, hold CTRL and click the red X in the upper right corner.
  Close the window of the 2nd in the same way using CTRL.

  You can also restore the default settings of the display of the tools-> Folder Options-> view files-> restore default settings.

  This should solve the problem.
