  I never use the Alt-text function (yes I know, I should). And I hate the way the version of DW CS3 automatically prompts me to add something in the Alt text field when I paste an image. Is there anyway to turn this off?

  Are you sure that you pass a value in this database filed?

  You can check by looking at the session state of elements (developer session on the toolbar button)

  I suggest to close your session and log in again to see if it is correct.

  [7Pro - 32 bit] [Acro Pro XI] After the first Acro Pro XI began with the last v11.0.9 update (no PDF file is open.. just application of Acro Pro XI), AcrobatPro XI quit unexpectedly without message 20 seconds

  I have first:

  Uninstall Adobe Reader XI then uninstall Acrobat Pro XI and then restart the computer then install again as Acrobat Pro XI, then restart the computer.

  Try to start the Application Pro Acrobat after you download the last update (v11.0.9)

  Same behavior: Adobe Acrobat Pro XI closes unexpectedly

  I tried also to start in administrator mode but it's the same result...

  So, today I decide to uninstall Adobe Acrobat and Reader products.

  Use the cleaning tool for Acrobat Pro Acrobat and reader for deleted prefs, register etc...

  it restarts the computer, and then update all the firmware of the computer DELL OPTIPLEX 380

  Restart the computer again then install Acrobat Pro XI ADMINISTRATOR mode

  Then download the 11.0.9 update manually and install it right after

  Restart again...

  Start Acrobat Pro and bad result... Acrobat Pro quit unexpectedly after 20 years of his first start without open document

  Why nobody gives an idea or an answer?

  And you need to display an error message in its entirety. You can left click on it to highlight then right click to copy and then paste in this thread. Just the number of code alone is not enough.

  Recently, my computer suddenly reboots without displaying any warnings (sometimes) and I had lost my unsaved data. What should I do?

  This type of shutdown usually indicates one of the following conditions:

  (1) system crash (in the old days it would come with a blue screen message but the modern configuration is to restart without showing a 'scary' screen like that)

  (2) a hardware failure (loss of power system, there was a short circuit or some other fault)

  To try to know that if it's a software crashing issue, you can open the report of reliability on the computer.  Press the Windows Logo and W to display the settings panel, type 'reliability' and open history of reliability.  It will show you the recent history of events. If you see a report of incidents at the moment when the reboot happened, which can help identify the cause.  If it was because of a recent driver installation software or other software, you can run the system restore and restore before the problem started.

  If it's a hardware failure, you'll want to contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

  I'm looking to use the speach.dll within a c# application and noticed that it is causing the app exit without any exceptions, no newspaper, no error or anything.

  Copy the following code will cause the failure:

  I'm trying to process a batch of files InDesign CS3 and when I use the command "without window display", the script runs as expected, except that it does not display the window that the script runs.  I think I could pick up some speed gains major if I could keep the window in the background, but it seems that the script is not obeying this command.

  In truth, this command has never worked for me and I'm starting to wonder if a parameter preferably I maybe locally could be the ACE command substitution.

  The script below is an excerpt of my script.  Note that I have a Finder window and am processing all InDesign files in this window.

  Any ideas or suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

  Your problem is that your code passes references to Finder to InDesign. InDesign does not include references to Finder, then it throws their back to the Finder, which then makes the opening - it's as if you have double-clicked on the file.

  You place InDesign an alias or a path, like this:

  Tell application "Finder".

  in case of error- happens if there is a single
