tiling

Since then (accidentally) install Adobe reader, I can no longer properly to tile my PDF files, as they now have margins of fools. How do I fix this or go back to an earlier version of Adobe that actually worked?

Hi mitchella47279461,

To rotate a PDF, you need navigate the menu view-> display rotation in Acrobat Reader ms or you can use the shortcut Shift + Ctlr + more / Ctlr + shift + minus sign.

If you want to continue to install the older version of Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution , you will need to uninstall the current version first.

Kind regards
Nicos

  • printing of posters (tiling)

On the advice of a representative of Office Depot online, I bought a hp7520 because he/she says he did posters, but if that's the case I can't understand it.  It also said that most of the new printers nowdays do, but in the product discriptions there is nothing "tiling" or "poster" ability.

My background tiled on my layout phone scrolls if scrolling is enabled or disabled, how can I keep it from scroll? I want it to stay fixed. The desktop version works fine.

    Thank you!!

OK - although it turns out, I had to not only update the Master Page, but I also had to update the scroll on each page individual... box, don't know why, but it helped. There are certainly some separation now, the background yet moves and is not stationary... but it moves at a different speed than the rest of the content on the page, giving it a hovering effect.

Click OK and restart the application

    Now use option tiles.

I would like to know if it works.

I'm having a problem with the menu option "Show Print tiling" works do not at all.

I have setup a bleed for my document and even tried a reset of the parameters.

The dotted line indicates the area that your printer is capable of printing. So it depends on which is configured in your printer driver and the print illustrators dialog box.

  • How to create a tiled line pattern?

    Hello

How can I create a tiled like the one on the image line pattern? (Illustrator CS5)

    deseb.jpg

Is there a more convenient way than drawing and the duplication of lines? When I have this and fill the shape with the boss, I see the gaps between tiles. Remember the same model on Microsoft Word? I want to create this on Illustrator. Should which method I follow?

    Thank you.

Draw a horizontal line and apply a stroke. Duplicate this exact line vertically, apply no fill, no respect.

Drag the two of them in the swatches Panel. This is the configuration. Applies to a shape and then turn only the model of your form.

I think that what you are looking for is a 100% width header.

  • How to have two docs tiled horizontally in the fabric of 9?

FM9, whenever I do window > mosaic he always puts the documents in vertical slabs.  In my previous version of 7, I could choose between vertical or horizontal.  What happened to horizontal tile in FM9?  Is it possible to activate it?

the only thing I can understand is to have two windows and resize them manually to they are tiled (sort of) horizontally.

Adobe FrameMaker a lot more tiling options today (according to the number of open documents). Please see the 'Rearrange the Documents' button on the title bar for options. I am also well attching a picture of the options available.

  • Site Web Background Image tiling problem in CS4

    Illustrator CS4:

Don't know if it's a quest of Illustrator or a quest for web developer, but here goes:

I want the bottom of my main content is white with an opacity of about 90%, so you can still see a bit of the background of major Web sites behind the content.

I created a file in illustrator which is 1 "x 1", then called a rectangle that is slightly larger than the work plan and filled with white with a 90% opacity.

Then, I saved for the web and devices in format png-24.  When I put the image as the bg I got the desired opacity effect however, there is a thin clear border around each instance in the image mosaic.  I see nothing in my html or css which is originally the border.  I also tried to make the image smaller and bigger and still the border.

You can see the site here: http://www.buffalomooncoffee.com

the main image of bg beans appeared also in illustrator cs4 and tiles perfectly at 300px x 300px, but when I tried to do this smaller image (x 150px 150px) for faster website loading, he also had a kind of border, but to 300px works.

    Any help is appreciated.

    It's a web dev question.

Why the image? Using an image is not necessary. Fill a div with #fff one together, it's opacity a.8 and 80 using CSS. All browsers that support PNG24 will also support opacity in CSS settings. And no image no: load faster.

Just for the record, a tiling 1x1px image is really bad more. Due to the size of the screen today, it takes a browser to always draw all these images, make the most important tiles if they are needed. I usually make them as large as possible, as long as they are less than 5 k. But that's me.

As for your image and lines, they are very likely due to anti-aliasing in Illustrator. You will want to uncheck the anti-alias work option in preferences, then save.

  • "Seamless tiling" Photos

I just changed from Paint Shop Pro to Photoshop Elements 9. I have looked exhaustively to post-secondary studies and cannot find how to change a picture with a "seamless tiling" effect It's not "mosaic" or one of the other textures that I see in the PSE. When you work on a web page, I want to use a photo that has been perfectly tiled as a background image for the body of a page, because it is not clear when the repetition occurs, vertically or horizontally and allows the image to display on any screen size without having a huge image that takes forever to download and terrible looks on a small screen. Parts of the image are superimposed (it can be tiled vertically, horizontally, or in both directions and the method can be edge, corner, or mirror). I hope that I will not say that this is something PSP offers but PSE is not.  I use this often for web pages and Photoshop is supposed to be the industry standard. Thank you-

If you use the offset filter, enter 50% of the width in pixels of the image in the horizontal and 50% of the height in pixels of the image for the vertical entry. Check the box that says "wrap".

Here are a couple of tutorial using different approaches:

It uses the gum to get rid of the seam in the Middle:

    http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/tilings/tilings.htm

It uses the Clone Stamp to get rid of the seam in the Middle:

    http://www.assault.it/2008/06/23/repeating-seamless-background-image-tutorial/

Note: You can also use the correction tool to get rid of the seams.

I'm not a big fan of a fill pattern. I prefer to apply the pattern using the model adjustment layer I can resize it.

  • Tiling of a PDF in Illustrator

    Hi all

    I have a large poster print (2.5 m x 3 m) A0 pages which I believe is called Mosaic. I would like to export

the tiles in multi page PDF. I used the tiling option in the print dialog box, but Adobe has taken off the option «Save multiple page»

PDF with page tiling"the Save as pdf option. I understand that it is not necessary since we can create a multi page

PDF with different work plans, but I want to work plans to be placed automatically with some coherent overlap throughout the

poster. Is it possible to do this with plans of work or other illustrator tools? I have access to the creative range then

I can use all the other products of adobe cs (I couldn't find a way with acrobat pro).

    See you soon

Yes, you can use negative numbers in the new Document dialog box. If you know how many pages it will, simply enter this number in the number of work plans and suggested the arrangement. Enter a negative number in the spacing box. Here is an example of 4 pages of letter US together on a bench > double lines are overlapping. When you export the PDF file and choose Multipage PDF to ensure that the use of work plans is checked in the save box.

  • grey multi page tiling?

So, I try to save a lot of work recombine individual pages by doing a project like 1 sheet in illustrator (CS3) and then printing to PDF.  But I can't click the multi-page PDF create tiles Page option in the general section as the instructions say, because it is grayed out.  There is a global setting that I need to reinstall, or am I missing something?

I also tried just print the PDF and makes just Illustrator crashing.

    Thank you

    Eric

There is your problem. Just a tile. The document is not configured for printing of the tile.

Page tiling is a print setting. He tells the printer to print the document in tiles that are the size of your supposed media (the size of the sheets you have pointedly loaded in the printer).

Just for clarity to do this:

1 suppose you build a document that will export to PDF format with 16 vertical format pages. File > new.

    2. in the preparation of the Document, set the 11 "height and width of 8.5". But then enter "* 2" after 11 and key in "* 8" after the 8.5.» Click outside the field, and you will see the size of the artboard change to 22 "x 68". Click OK.

    3. display > Show Page tiling. You see a page of tiles.

4 file > print > general section. Select Adobe PDF 'printer '. "The value size support custom, portrait, width 8.5", height 11 '.

    5. click on Setup to the configuration pane. Select Pages of tile in the tile popup. Click done.

You will now see a work plan with 16 tiles numbered Page with an area of 22 "x 68". If you save a copy in PDF, you will have the ability to save tiles as separate Pages.

  • Tiling graphics output (I know that this may already be asked)

I'm new to the Forum and I tried the search and have not found exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping that someone could help me.

Whenever I record on a .eps from indesign for use in printing large format (which is what I do), work (in particular all bitmap images), is tiled in

squares (which sometimes cause problems with the handling of the file or him to do rip correctly, or even high-resolution presses, the tile breaks appear on the final print.) Is it possible to eliminate this phenomenon? Thanks in advance.

The problem may be in the way you present the PDF. EXPORT the PDF from InDesign and comapatibility make sure is set to Acrobat 5 or more and there is no flattening until Acrobat prints, so no COMET lines in the PDF file.

  • Help please - Page tiling

    This is just a repost:

I'm playing with Illustrator CS 4 and the print tiling is a little shake me up.  Here is my scenario:

Let's say I create a new document with A4 - size of work plans and I want to work in 2 lines 10 plans. I want to see the tiles printed on all work plans at the same time, but when I go to print (setup) I can't turn on the tiles (in gray).  If I use the print tiling tool, it does only for 1 work plan and if I go to view > show print tiling, once more than 1 work plan.  So my question is How can I activate print tiling on several work plans at the same time?

In the photo below, it shows the tiled floor of the page of a document originally drawn in Illustrator CS and there page tiles in all pages. I want that in my work plans.

    P.S. I'm on a Mac

Try setting up I show you the pictures... the secret is you need only 1 plan of work (No 25) but multiplied for the desired number of pages, in my example I used 5 times with and height 5 times... click on the pictures to see larger

How ever, if you try to make a drawing with pages, CS4 work plans it is the right way, that it was made for...
