  You have 2 possible actions: a by clicking on the button (success), a when you click outside the button (the rest of the slide) which is a failure. And you can attach an action at a time. The default action for both is 'Continue', which means that the head of reading which has been suspended by the button, will continue. You don't want that to happen if the user clicks on the button, but outside the key (like by clicking in the field ETB). This is the reason why recommended Manish allows you to change the action for failure to 'No action', which means that nothing will happen if the user clicks outside the button. He can then click in the text field and type its entry.

  Make sure that you are logged on the Adobe site, having cookies enabled, clearing your cookie cache.  If it fails to connect, try to use another browser.

  Issue has been addressed several times in this forum. You don't need to program the next button, but click areas. I guess they don't have to be clicked in order? In this case:

  1. create three user, for each box click variables: v_one, v_two, v_three and give them a default value 0
  2. hide the next button (in the Properties Panel - since I don't know the version, wrong in detail)
  3. for each button click on create an advanced conditional action with two decisions:
     • First decision is a standard simulated action "always."
       IF 1 is equal to 1
       Assign the v_one with 1 (change of variable in the actions for the other boxes two click v_two, v_three)
     • Second decision checks the value of these three variables
       IF v_one is equal to 1 AND
       v_two is equal to 1 AND

  v_three is equal to 1

  The option remains on the slide is probably the culprit here. Click pause at the end of their time in slide boxes. So if they are for the rest of the slide, they only will pause at the end of the slide and will not be staggered.

  You will need something like

  float quantityFloat = Float.parseFloat (quantity);

  to put strings into numeric values, you can multiply.

  But like I said, learn java on the Blackberry is a challenge.  I would try to get some skills in Java on a PC (which is much more friendly learner) before developing on the BlackBerry.
