time display format

Hello everyone,

I have a time stamp indicator in a Subvi and I he pass out as part of a cluster. the display format of the timestamp is "time format system", digits 0. When I probe the Subvi output in the main vi I get a value of time with 3 digits stamp. It makes no sense at all.

Unfortunately, I could not reproduce this behavior in a simple to fix vi.

Maybe you've met this kind of behaviour before.

all ideas are welcome!

using labview 2011

Screen format information are not in the data; It is a property of the indicator, which is not necessarily going to be the same format of you in a probe.

  • Convert time in digital channel display format in a script

I am trying to convert the display format of a string that contains the time values (mm/dd/yyyy hh:nn:ss.ffff) of time digital. I know I can do this in the Properties section of the data portal, but I want to do in a script. I want to be able to convert it automatically without having to do it manually every time I have import new data. Which syntax is necessary for this?

I already tried the commands ChnPropSet (and ChnPropValSet), but it does not change the display format after that I executed the script. Thanks for your help.

Data.Root.ChannelGroups (1). Channels ("time"). Properties ("DisplayType"). Value = "time".
Data.Root.ChannelGroups (1). Channels ("time"). Properties ("DisplayType"). Value = "digital."

For me the two lines run to the type. Be aware that the property is the name of "displaytype" not localized user interface.

You can determine the name of a property of drag and drop in the DIAdem script editor.

  • Time display time display QuickTime vs FCPX

I need help to understand what I see in FCPX.

I have video files on a map of the camera. When I import a clip that I see, for example, an hour of starting 12:39:03; 20 and an end time of 12:49:18. 23. the shows 'content created"November 11, 2015, 18:49:35. After importation, the start and end times correspond to watch the window of time code in the center of the window FCPX.

If I open the clip in FCP beam original media file, Quicktime show it starts at 00:00 and ends at 10:09. The person that I work with has a workflow of the first draft I Watch clips in Quicktime format and take notes using QuickTime displayed timecode. When he moves to FCPX to mark and keyword sections, the times do not match.

We talked about its evolution, its workflow, but it's something he did for years and is comfortable with it.

Why FCPX displays something different? Can I change the time display FCPX to correspond to Quicktime? Is there maybe a setting of the camera that I missed?

MFT displays timecode from camera. The QuickTime X player does not work. He must use the QuickTime 7 or Pro Player or another player who displays the timecode. FCP can be made to display the time of day.

  • The clock in the taskbar has set both military, how can I get that back to the normal time display?

Clock in the taskbar has set both military, how can I get that back to the normal time display?

You make this kind of adjustments in the regional and Language Options applet.

Click Start, settings, Control Panel, regional and Language Options.

On the Regional Options tab, in the section Standards and formats, your language is selected.

To the right of your selected language, click on the Customize button, the click the time tab.

Change the Format of the time to your desires.

    Eastern Standard time: h:mm:ss:tt

    Military time would be: HH

Click OK, OK to save the settings.

You don't need to restart, but I would reboot in any case to ensure the changes 'stick '.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • First sends EDL with 'invalid time code format string.

Follow the suggestions in this thread, I try to send a PCA of a first sequence to Speedgrade.

When I try to import the Speedgrade JEL, I get this error message:

    Screen Shot 2012-10-18 at 2.38.06 PM.png

    ERROR

At the time point is not valid. String (hours) invalid timecode format: '23813 + 20'

    in edition 1

    File: LR001 V 001C 2813 + 20 17 23815 + 0:00 1 + 37

    Line: 2

I have rarely worked with EDL, but have read the guides Speedgrade and first. I must be missing something but can't tell what.  Here are the details of my project:

I'm editing in 24 fps. Video files are generated in After Effects of DPX files. The time code is based on the DPX filenames, with the time corresponding to the number of laboratory Roll (so 11:00 11 Roll)

I export an EDL in the CMX3600 format. I tried two settings by default and without audio. Same results. I even get the same result if I do a sequence of a single clip and try to export this EDL.

I don't think it's a matter of Speedgrade, because that if I try to re - import EDL in first, it seems that all clips are a single long chassis.

Any suggestions on what I might hurt would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Lev

Figured it out. Creation of project settings must be defined on the display Format: timecode

  • The time displayed in the "Received" column is not the last time received in the headers, this is indeed the sent time.

    RE: Thunderbird email list
I like to see the columns 'Date' and 'receipt '. I noticed that the time displayed is exactly the same in both columns, and I knew from Outlook it wasn't normal. When I checked the headers, I found that Thunderbird did not display the received time, but rather, in all cases, it is at once sent. Here is an example:
The last "Received" line in the header is: (> > added)
    > > received: by 10.216.205.198 with SMTP id j48csp33972weo;
    > > Thu, May 22, 2014 07:25:10-0700 (PDT)

    The other relevant line is:
    > > date: Thu, May 22, 2014 14:21:21 + 0000

Note that there is difference of 4 minutes which is not too uncommon, but 09:21 for the two columns is displayed. It is sent in good time, but not the good received on time. It should display at 09:25 in this column.

  • display format for change of control table

I have a table in my VI that display information. However, the number of columes is too many (about 20) and line number is only 5. So I want to change the display format:

    original painting

    Name age sex...

    Tian 30 female

    Song 23 male

    After changed:

    Tina Name song

    30 years 23

    Women men sex

Another question. The information in columns, this is too. some of them have 10 characters, is the table control have any property to change the width of colume on hosting them automatically?

    Convert your 2D table.

Width column, there is a function called Get text Rectangle.  Use it on each element of your 2D array in the column of interest.  Use the maximum value, and then set the width of your column to that.

  • BUG? Digital command resets all other entries with non-standard display format

I found what I think it's a bug with a digital command on a non-standard display format.  I have the display format '% dW' value (an integer followed by the letter W).  When I enter a number, it works, but if I then pull together the same number, the digital command resets to 0.  This continues to alternate as long as I have to enter the same value - a single entry will be right, the other resets to 0.  LabVIEW 2009 SP1.  The VI didn't even need to run to see this behavior.  If I use a value change event I also see this - the 'New' value will be alternately 0 even if not what I entered.

I had someone contact me about this today.  Just as a follow-up, this CAR has been set in 2011.

  • SLM - UDAs not available in the display Format

    Hello

We are Oracle SLM (R12.1.3) application for our client. We define the pair of attributes defined by the user (UDA) for custom conditions. These aggregates include types also tidy and several rows. After you set the, I am able to see the ADU single-tier in search criteria and display format, but I'm not able to see the ADU several rows in the display format? Is this a bug? We are in the process of upgrading to '17525552:R12. PRC_PF. B", don't know if the ORS will correct this problem. Can anyone throw some light on this point, if they have experienced similar behavior?

  • display format is disabled in sql * more

    Hello all;

my display format is disabled in sql * more... That's what I see in sql * more
    Create_Da

When I type in the following sql statement

How can I get the display format instead

any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Your ID field looks a bit too wide for your data. Running this should help:

      column id format a40

This tells Oracle to show the value of the id column using 40 character spaces.

  • How to format the date/time display tips?

For those of you who know not:

One of the attributes in VO is of type Date. To display the date in the format ' 10/25/2009 23:45 ', I only managed to display "10/25/2009-11:45" with only the slightest idea of the few examples provided to view tips when you do the formatting (format mask that I use is DD/MM/YYYY HH: mm). "." I'd appreciate it if someone could give advice how to display the part of the mask format AM/PM. Or better yet, to direct me towards a source of reference for this formattnig.

    Thank you!

    Newman

    Newman,

As suggested by Puthanampatti, you must use 'a' in the date pattern display AM/PM.
You can find date and time patterns in [doc API SimpleDateFormat | http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html] who described on letters to use for each model that you can also use with hints of display attribute in VO.
