  When you use an FTP client from a workstation, the FTP client expires when you navigate to a folder with many files, say the folder/images of a website with 10 + MB in total (which isn't really that much). Navigate to other folders with smaller files seems fine.

  Now, when I turn off the firewall of the server, then I can use a FTP client on a workstation to access any FTP folder regardless of the number of files or the size of files and everything is fast fast.

  1 - managed bean, session scope, a getter that calls the session bean and retrieve the result of the query.
  2 - a JSF page with af:table element with the value bound to the list in the managed bean.
  
  When I run the application, the data is displayed, but since I put system.out message I get this message several times.
  When I try to debug the application the breakpoints on the managed bean and session bean are available several times.

  partially, it's the cycle of life and partially a known bug. The method is called during ApplyRequest and RenderResponse.   TestStand uses encodings multibyte code page, that you have defined for the operating system-based. If you are using a code page that requires multibyte characters, you should also make sure that you have the Options of Station-> location-> parameter Regcognize multi-byte characters is enabled.

  On Windows 7, at least, the code page of the operating system setting is located in the control panel "Region and language" in the "Administration" tab where it says "language for non-Unicode programs".

  These functions are different, dbtimezone return database time zone what database, gain of time obtained the value, if you want to change this, then you must run the alter database set time_zone , see example below
