  now that my CMOS problem is fixed, I thought to post the following. Before it seems as if I'm a newbie, I can say that I am really experienced with desktop computers and I never had such problems. It seems as if everything changes when you switch to a laptop. As do not leave the adapter on which battery is charged cause it can weaken over time... boring CMOS unloads... do not suspend your laptop to too much heat because of the battery... and so on and so forth.

  Well now is the sound under windows... it seems as if every time that the tower is out of mode 'sleep', the sound is crackling ever. Same sound crackling "geeting out mode 'sleep'."
  I updated the audio driver and tried even new codecs and settings of the sound card. But it still crackles. Sometimes when I watch a movie, the film jumps then the sound is crackling. So, it's like a performance problem (such as playing a dvd on a 90 MhZ Pentium with 32 MB RAM).

  Back to your problem: check the HARD disk activity while you watch the movie. Maybe that something is running in the background and disturbing him. As far as I know on this unit there are preinstalled virus NORTON security app. Try to turn it off for awhile and check if the device works better and faster.

  I've been a user of mac since 1998. I always liked having a reliable computer even when a lot of play (for a teenager like me at the time) had no Apple version. I used to envy them for unlimited programs and games, but with hindsight I missed much.

Because I need some Windows applications to do things only possible under windows for my work, I bought a Windows 8 for use on BootCamp. Everything was going well until I changed my Mac to another, simply activate! I spent hours with MS online support (I have to say that they are helpful and patient, I give them that) and after hours to download the necessary updates JUST to activate windows they told me that my Windows key is not valid! After much discussion and investigation, where to buy from? When did you buy it? What store? do you still have the receipt? Send us the serial number on the box, etc.... they were able to tell me the invalid key, and they can not yet say why!

  So what is the solution? Buy Windows 10! and I exploded. After they me calmed down, they gave me a new key and activated Windows, but I just can't go to Win10 because the date deadline has passed and I have to wait 24 hours to upgrade to 8.1 Windows if I want to!

  Bottomline, MacOS is clean and neat and directly convey the operating systems that you can rely on. Not a software that costs more than $ 200 and still can go wrong in a way more, you can count!

  I love my Mac (life) and Microsoft is so say they do a paralyzed Office for Mac which falls down, does not work properly macros and does not even what Office 2010 so far. Shame on them.

• LabVIEW 2010 executable runs under windows xp, but not in windows 7

  Hi all.  Here's the situation.  We have Labview 2010 professional development on a computer running Windows XP.  I designed all my programs with this PC.  We have another PC which has Windows 7 with no Labview.  I'm trying to make the executable files and put them on the Windows 7 PC.  I have been here three executable files and move the Windows 7 PC.  One of the executables work correctly, the other two interrupt immediately.

  Executables that stop have temperature limits and the program is apparently seen a low temperature and so stop the program.  Yet, these same executables work fine on the PC under Windows XP.  What seems to be the case, is that the program is expelled before allowing himself read the temperatures.  I use the modules of the series C 9213 and 9211 with 9188 Chassis.   My programs are showing 0 for temperatures.  Well, it's certainly in the low temp limit, so the program stops.  However, she should not do this.  I know there is little delay with the playback of all thermcouples in 9213 and 9211 modules, but this was not a problem with Windows XP.  Even if the program starts from scratch on the XP PC, temperatures immediately appear, or appear after a second or two.  Yes, I've rarely seen a temp 0 on the XP PC, but the program doesn't stop; Give it a second or two and the time appear.  Why is it that happens in Windows 7?

  An upgrade from 8.1 64-bit. The other is Windows 7 ultimate (64 bit).

  I bought Officejet 4630 at the end of September.

  So far I have not been able to print from a reliable PC at all.

  Sometimes maybe a page can be printed, but if I try the next page. The print queue seems to get hung.

  Worse, on a PC (Win7 64-bit upgrade), I can not connect with USB at all.

  Immediately after installing the driver, it fails to "print test page"? What gives?

  (I have not tried the USB connection with other PCs through the situation. He's far away and so connected via radio.)

  I am trying to install a new graphics card (gtx750ti) than ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1) and have updated to 750w power supply. Turn on the pc and no video, the pc is running but nothing on the monitor. Map vid tested on another machine it works fine, they suggested the bios update. I hesitate to update because there is no udate windows 8.1, any suggestions?

  Any window that you want to resize all the time must be the last closed window.

  Take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program. Don't let nothing understated.

  I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have a LIte on double layer DVD writer which has the latest firmware. Unfortunately, while all software can see it's a double layer capable drive, time that I try to use it, it fails. The drive itself is good because if I put in a system using Windows 7 32-bit, it burns discs double layer perfectly. I've been all over the internet for the last 2 days looking for solutions, and I have tried everything that I've heard of. Uninstalling drivers, ensuring that there is no upper or lower filters showing, uninstall and then reinstall the drive, edit the registry. Again, the drive WILL burn discs double layer in 32-bit Windows 7, but it burns ONLY of single layer DVD in Windows 7 64 bit.

  I hope that someone here has found a solution to this. Especially since I'm wanting to upgrade to a Blu - Ray dual layer burner so that I can use fewer disks to make backups of the system. I know Bu-Ray discs are more expensive, but I prefer to use 2 or 3 Blu ray discs to backup my system than 10 or 15 DVD. However, if discs double layer Blu Ray do not work under 64-bit Windows 7, then there is no need to upgrade.

  OK, 1. The drive works PERFECTLY under Windows 7 32 bit, which has all the same drivers / software that is running the 64-bit system.

  2 features of fine player like a DVD of SINGLE LAYER burner (it burns fine of the simple DVD layer), but not as a burner double layer (doesn't even recognize a DVD double layer is still in the drive, he MADE on the 32-bit system and burn them without any problem.)

  I have contacted LITE-ON and am running the latest firmware. Similarly all other drivers on the system (a new system just built 2 weeks ago). Basically, all the material on the 32 bit WINDOWS 7 are cloned on the 64 bit system. Everything is the same. Only change is the operating system.

  I've seen other forums that have been linked and tried everything suggested... which most have not even apply it. Still refuses to acknowledge that a DL disk is in the drive.

  So at this point, I'm simply not worry more. Going to buy the Blu - Ray burner and only single layer Blu - ray discs.
