TITLES OF PHOTOS

HOW CAN I SELECT JUST THE PHOTO TITLES OF 100 IMAGES, COPY AND PASTE THE TITLES IN 100 CELLS IN AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET?

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Thank you.

I ask this question in the Scripting Bridge forum:

Bridge script

You can also ask in the forum scripts Photoshop, but to do this in Photoshop would require each file to open, while in the bridge you don't need to open the files.

  • How to quickly enter titles in Photos

Is there a way to quickly enter (or change) a series of titles in Photos? I use the latest version (1.2) with El Capitan and were not able to understand this. At the opening, it was possible to change the title of a photo in the sidebar for information and then use command-arrow to go to the next photo to enter a different title. Given that the cursor would remain in the title field, I could just start typing. In the Photos, appears not to be possible without the help of the mouse. If I'm trying to change the title in the details pane for a photo (or below the picture for the album), it requires two clicks of the mouse - one outside the field title in the first photo and another inside the field of the second photo title (after using the arrow to go to the next photo). It's slightly better for the album, because I can use the tab click outside the field of title and then use the arrow to move to the next photo, but I have yet to click in the field title to add or change. This is a major drawback, so I hope I'm just something missing. Thank you very much.

Photos requires click compared to the opening.

You can enter titles in the fields of text under the thumbnails, but you must click in the textfield for editing.  The same thing, if you keep the open information panel and not the pictures by using arrow keys. You must click in the textfield of the Info Panel to enter the title.

It's a little easier, if you want to assign the same title to multiple photos. You can select all of the photos at once and enter the title for each of them in the title field in the Info Panel.

My wife spent several hours / days keep our iPhoto library, then pictures updated with the titles and descriptions of the image.  Today, she went to work on some photos and noticed that all "titles" for a picture of October 2015 and more had only numbers of images where the title is supposed to be.  Nothing has changed the way she goes about adding titles, etc..  That's happened?  Is there a way to retrieve this information?  I have a significant other very angry.

  • Y at - it an easy way to title, including photo

In the export of photos I chose the title instead of file name.

However, I would like the title to appear in the photo, preferably above or below the image.

By selecting file > print and looking at the contact sheet is similar to what I want.

However, I am trying to export images to a folder on the desktop that will be then copy to a CD.

I would like the title under each photo.

    Appreciate any help.

iPhoto can't do, but you can try the plugin BorderFX.  This plug-in can put a border around the photo and add titles, dates, legends and other annotations to the photo, when you export images to iPhoto.

  • roll the title with photos

I want to create rolling credits with a photo of each actor alongside the name of the actor. What is the best way to add wheelchair images to the title of working capital?

    Tim,

One was would be to create your credits in the Titler, and then add a Logo, which would be the thumbnail of the actor.

Another would be to create your title w / embedded Image in Photoshop and Save_As PSD Import which PrPro, then use the move > key frames in Position to make the animation.

Yet another would make the thumbnail as a glitch in the title (above it on a higher video track), and then animate the appropriations in title with Motion > Keyfarmes Position, and do the same thing for this Image, so that they move together. You should be able to image key, say the title, then Rt-on this copy by choosing. Then select the PiP Clip, Rt-click on, and then choose Paste attributes. [I have never tried this with a title and a still Image, but will the experiences, in which case there are a few limitations, but don't think that it will be.]

    Good luck

  • Keep titles while traveling to Photos?

I loaded with 26000 ~ photos organized in events and albums in iPhoto. All images have added manual titles.  How to keep titles and albums during the migration to the Photos?

All images have added manual titles.

Securities, the file names of the pictures or do you add you them manually in the field title in iPhoto. If securities have been manually entered in the title field, Photos automatically display these titles.  If the file names are displayed as default titles, Photos will not display the names of files under titles, but you can see in the Panel information for each photo.

Your events will be converted to photo albums and albums will be migrated, see this paper:

How Photos handles content and metadata for iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

If your titles are the names of files under default titles, you can use the Batch Change command in iPhoto to write file names in the fields title, before migrating the library.

  • How can I transfer photos from the "iPhoto" to 'Photos' without losing info "date of creation"?

I decided to transfer all the remaining photos, I have always in an old iPhoto Library in pictures. I was able to 'rebuild' the library within the new version of iPhoto (which still exists on my Mac) and then export all the photos in a folder on a hard drive. However, when I then imported in Photos, they all got a new 'creation date' the exact moment where I imported the - missing information about when they were shot. Is there anything I can do to keep this information in Photos? The problem is that I can't even sort the pictures in "Photos" - under the "Sort" in the "View" menu option, there is only one, gray, option: 'Keep sorted by oldest first' if I look 'Photos' or 'Album' 'All the Photos' in the sidebar. Why are there no more options? (For example, sort by title?) Why is "Photos" so clumsy and unwieldy and paradoxical? Why does he use the same generic name ("Photos") for the app and the real thing, he manages a link in the sidebar? What happened to the Mac user interface intuitive but customizable? Augggghhhh!

TO migrate from keep everything that you migrate the iPhoto for pictures library by dragging the Photos icon in the dock

If you export you create them new files with metadata selected although the date of the photos should stay in the fields of EXIF/IPTC - assistance to export from iPHoto see - export to iPhoto

If the metadata is not correct after exporting it's user error - and if you perform the migration instead of export and import, nothing will change-- How Photos handles content and metadata for iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

What about sorting in the Photos - all the photos of the user can be sorted by ascending or descending date or by title - see Photos (years/collections/moments) is always sorted by date of the photo with the oldest first and pictures is always sorted by date added

  • Need help photos

I recently upgraded the OS newer.  I had been using iPhoto, and now it's pictures.

    1. on my old OS iPhotos, you could label each photo and it show up under each.  I can't see her now.  How do you get it to work with the new application?  If I have a Word doc to list titles, I'm screwed because some of these lists are 8 years old an dI have a LOT of pictures.

    2. I tried to take the last album of photos on an old computer and it says that the photo is not compatible.  I'll keep the old computer to run applications is more compatible and it works 10.6.8.  Are these photos a place that I could find and take over for this iPhotot?

These are painful for me and I hope someone can help.

    Thank you.

On Photos for Mac, you can see titles under the thumbnails of the photos, if you enable it in the view menu:

    Select ' View > metadata > title.

To add titles to photos, select some photos, and then open the Info Panel and type something in the title field.

Try to find the library, iPhoto on your old computer.  It will be in the pictures folder.

Copy the computer to your new iPhoto library and drag it on the Photos icon in the Dock.  The photos should open this library and migrate Photos as a new library.  To switch between libraries and hold options while launching Photos. This will and you select the library to open it.
