TMS CCC and JAVA - Clarification

I looked through the forums enough to know that MSD is VERY picky about the version of Java installed on the local computer used to access the control of conference center.

Is there a definitive guide to which versions of Java work with which versions of TMS or how many installations of Java could affect this delicate balance? We got hell keeping Java Update while ensuring that we are able to access MSDS. In addition, in your personal experiences, which browsers you find work best with TMs?

We run TMS 13.2.1 and usually access the CCC of machines Windows 7 x 64. Any clarification/help would be much appreciated.

Hi Juan,

The problem has been fixed on the side TMS in article 13.2.2. This is because the BUG # CSCub01168.

Here is the excerpt of BUG # CSCub01168.

[Java 7 introduced a defect (bug 6997116 ID in Java) which caused talks to conference control center is not to load.]

This has been fixed in Java 7 7 update, but there are still problems loading of the images that have now been resolved with a change of function of rendering Java in Cisco TMS

See here for article 13.2.2 software installation package and here for the release notes.

TMS has only been tested with IE and Firefox.

Please see the installation guide for TMS 14.1.

  • Problem with Firefox 14.0.1 and Java

Since I've upgraded to firefox 14.0.1, I can't access a site that requires the latest version of Java (#36, I think). I installed it on my computer, but the site does not load. However, I have firefox 13.0.1 on another computer, and it has no problems of access to this site.

I tried to access this site even on IE on the same machine that I have 14.0.1 firefox and IE wonder first if I want to run Java and when I answer Yes, it loads the site very much. But I hate IE and want to be able to run the program on firefox. Firefox 14.0.1 never ask questions about Java. It will not load the site.

I'm using firefox on a PC with XP.

I think it has to do with the Add-ons and Java, but have no idea what Add-ons that I should have or that I shouldn't have. Currently I have no Java modules but when I search add-ons available Java, I gives me 3 options: Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0, Java Deployment Toolkit 6.0 or Java Platform SE 7.

The computer with firefox 13.0.1 (also XP) not a not modules Java running, but it shows Java Console disabled like 6.0 and Java Quick Starter 1.0, as it is disabled.

    Anyone have any ideas?

The question is: will I be able to work without Java on my computer?

Before internet won over Flash, Java was an important host of interactive content. But lately, you will find that it is rarely used.

Of course, most sites use JavaScript, but Firefox handles JavaScript natively; It is not necessary to install Java to run JavaScript (long story on why the names are similar, even if the technologies are separate).

  • Firefox and Java

I use Windows XP Pro and Firefox 41.0.1.

Is there a problem with the Java site when you use the 41.0.1 Firefox Version?

When I go on the Java site to check the latest update of Java is installed, the box does not analyse the last update. I checked that the last update for Firefox was installed, deleted cookies from Firefox and closed and reopened Firefox but the Java Web site does not work.

    Anyone aware of this problem?

However, I can go in 'Modules' in Firefox to check that plug-ins are up-to-date or manually check the site downloads Java for the last Java version., that which I did, and Java is up to date.

Your question is for Mozilla, not Microsoft.  This isn't something that has caused or affected by the operating system.

  • PlayBook can run Android and Java applications?

    Hi all

I heard that RIM a plan that the Playbook will support android apps and java.

Do you know what RIM will complete this task?

    Thank you!

Demo of the RIM had the Android BlackBerry World Player, but I think that the release date is later in the summer.

And outside of promising to provide a BlackBerry Java player, I saw not a precise date for the BlackBerry player. Except that this is due no later than the Android player.

  • TMS, VCS and Jabbber "impossible to connect to the TMS on the VCS agent".

    Dear,

We have Cisco TMS, VCSC and jabber deployment, we did before commissioning the VCSC and TMS and jabber worked well, but after the upgrade the VCSC v7.2 to jabber version 8.2 has stopped working and I can not connect more and when I go to the TMS and connect to the VCS I get "unable to connect to the TMS on the VCS agent" Please notify

What TMS version do you use?  And you are using Extension of provisioning of the TMS (TMSPE)?

Looks like you are using TMS Agent Legacy, which has been supported in VCS X7.2 and has since been removed from X8.1.  You will need to migrate to TMSPE and very probably upgrade your server TMS as well if you do not meet the minimum version.

    Cisco TMSPE 1.0 Deployment Guide

Here's the guide deployment for TMSPE 1.0, there are newer versions, but 1.0 is one that you want to migrate from legacy Agent TMS.  Once installed and migrate your data, you can then go to the most recent version, which is 1.4 (see below).

  • HTML CSS3 and Java, can they be altered Muse?

Hey guys, so after I build the muse website, can I add via CSS style, add or edit HTML and Java?

If you want to keep compatibility with the Muse you can certainly add a few CSS styles in the head section in the page properties and HTML using the feature to insert the HTML code. Once you change outside the Muse, you will lose compatibility with Muse.
