The documentation says when meet this error msg, follow these steps:

Corrective actions:

1 see the log for more details

2. check that sufficient memory for the parameters exportconnection OpenDS.

3. check that the connection details for Cisco Agent Cisco TMS Legacy TMS are correct.

4 re-run the migration tool.

My question is what it means in the number of corrective actions 2 and 3?
I re - run the migration tool multiple times without a bit of luck.  In addition, the legacy of Agent TMS works very well.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hello

Open the command line as an administrator (as run as administrator).

CD to the Directory migration tool. C:\Program files\tandberg\tms\provisioning extension\migration tool

Run the migration tool.bat of the cmd as administrator. Should solve the problem.

  • Storage migration fails with the error: could not complete the network copy to path to the file

    Hello

    I have two hosts ESXi 5.5 with local storage and VMware vCenter device which manage them. Everything worked well until that time.

    Now when I try to make the host migration and storage, processing or power off the virtual machine, I get the error message:

    Could not complete the network for file /vmfs/volumes/.../path/to/file.vmdk copy

    The situation is the same when I try to deploy VM on ESXi-2 model that is on ESXi-1.

    All with the network configuration is correct. I have ping between the hosts on ESXi and ESXi and vCenter. No firewall hosts ESXi and vcenter. No physical firewall between hosts.

    The network latency is less than 1 ms. No packet loss.

    I read this VMware KB article: Storage migration fails with the error: could not complete network file copy and I tried solutions explained here, but the results are the same.

    You have ideas where the problem may be?

    Hello guys,.

    I finally found the problem.

    ESXi servers are configured with MTU 9000, but the switch where the hosts are connected was a bug documented with frames. I found the problem after finding this article http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1003734

    I run the command of ESXi-1:

    vmkping - d-s 8972 192.168.10.12 where 192.168.10.12 is the ip address of ESXi-2

    The result was:

    3 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss

    as a workaround, I reduce the MTU to 1500, then I patched the problematic switch.

  • WHS client backup fails with an access denied error

    I have a new laptop with Windows 8.1 on which I have installed the Windows Home Server 2011 connector and configuration backups for her. Backups fail at every attempt to return that an error prevented backup to create a snapshot of the volumes on this computer.

    The event log shows event ID 8194 by the following:

    The volume shadow copy Service error: error unexpected mark of the IVssWriterCallback interface. HR = 0 x 80070005 access is denied.

    . This is often caused by incorrect security settings in the process of the writer or the applicant.

    I tried to start the VSS service and tried the backup with the same result.

    The service runs with the same parameters the service runs on a computer that registers with success.

  • Movie Maker fails with general access denied error

    Windows Movie Maker 6 in Windows Vista SP2 32 bit produces a general access denied error and does not run when an attempt is made to run by normal methods. Right click on the shortcut or icon and choosing "Run as Administrator" results in the successful launch of the program.

    I went to the properties of Moviemk.exe and given full control permissions to the single user and also to the administrator, but the file still does not start by double-clicking.

    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Thank you

    Ron Carruthers

    Hello Ron_C,

    In Windows Vista and Windows 7, the number of items must be run in administrative mode. Even logged on as administrator, you are running as a standard user.

    The Movie Maker 2.6 installer must be run with administrator privileges.

    1. Select the language
    2. click on the download button.
    3. click on "Run" to start the installation.

    I hope this helps.

    You can try to remove the device uri scheme and the findme bosses and then try to make the migration again. If its success, you can re - fill these easy once tmspe is running.

    whenever I try to launch the idrac video console 7, it fails with an "Access denied" error it's weird because I'm connected to the idrac as superuser. I use JDK 1.6. I tried through different browsers and I still get the same error.

    To address I created a new user account and permissions of base. Seems "Access Virtual Console" even when checked permissions do not actually post update.

    I checked my system and performed the following tasks to try to resolve the problem:
    My version of Windows is up-to-date. I have no problem hardware or exceptional driver. I tried to temporarily disable my antivirus to complete the installation, this does not solve the problem. I tried to install it as a system administrator. I searched the site of Valve/steam software for a solution, none were found (http://store.steampowered.com/). I searched the database of Microsoft for a solution, none were found. I'm having no problem with other games or applications that were loaded on that computer. The problem is only with the application steam.exe and any game that requires the application of steam to the function.
    I came across the following link which has promised to solve the problem;

    I followed the instructions at three times, all with the same error message.
    The default program is responsible for the following: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Steam.
    I tried to load the program on different hard disks and got the same error code.
    I have triple checked all user profiles to make sure that the appropriate privileges have been set (Admin). I checked all the steam program elements to ensure that they have been set to run as a program director executed. I double checked that proper TCP/UDP ports are open for the application of the steam function. http://www.resoo.org/docs/Counterstrike/steam_ports.html
    Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Platinum,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Vista Community Forums.

    This error is primarily caused by a lack of permissions for the user, having the Steam.exe file attributes set to 'Read only', or by another program interferes with the installation of Steam process (if the steam client application has been updated to a version that was not included in your package of Steam, Steam will download a new copy of itself and then delete the old file Steam.exe except when another program interferes).

    1. check your Windows user permissions.
    Please ensure that you are logged on as administrator on the computer that you use to install Steam.
    2. check the file attributes
    3. right click on the file Steam.exe, which was created after running the Steam Installer, and then select Properties
    4 uncheck the read-only box if it is checked and hit apply before closing the window
    5. try running the Steam.exe file once more
    6. check the settings of your security software

    If you are running an antivirus, firewall or any product safety program that may interfere with the removal and replacement of the file Steam.exe (some security software will check information of a file whenever it is changed and block the automatic replacement of files) Please check your settings for the program and ensure that you are prompted to authorize activities that may trigger the security software.

    Remove spyware, Adware and virus software and try to run the installation again.

    In addition to the steps above, follow these steps:
    1. go in C:/Program Files/Steam /.
    2. right click on Steam.exe and go to properties.
    3. click on the Compatibility tab.
    4. check run as administrator and click OK.
    5. then I deleted StemeTemp (or something like that. the steam icon).
    6. then run Steme.exe again.

    It will be useful.

    Thank you and best regards,

    I am running Oracle 10.2.0.4 on RHEL 5.5 32-bit and seeks to convert some of Oracle Scheduler cron tasks, but get a permission denied error during the execution of the work.

    Hello

    The run_user specified in externaljob.ora don't have to be a member of the oinstall group.

    I think you can run into a problem specific to run_job with use_current_session-online set to true when the local OS user running sqlplus is not a member of oinstall.

    The same error occurs with a background task run (for example use_current_session-online fake)? Occur if you are using sqlplus from another machine?

    Thank you
    Ravi.

    Hi Robrw,

    1. when exactly you receive this error?

    2. don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?

    You can try to rename the catroot2 folder and check if it helps.

    Step 1:

    a. Click Start and in run type C:\windows\system32 and click ok

    b. find the Catroot2 folder. Right-click on Catroot2 and rename it to Catroot2.old

    If you are not able to do the normal mode, try to start in safe mode and rename

    Step 2:

    If you are unable to access the catroot2 folder, and then try to change the permissions on the files and check if it helps.

    See the following article:

    How to capture a file or a folder in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/308421

    Step 3:

    You can also try to temporarily disable third-party security software and firewalls and check what is happening.

    Note: Activate the security software after the resolution of the problem.

  • Error creating registry key, RegCreateKeyEx failed; Code 5 access denied

    Just as the title says. I encounter and error where a program is unable to create a registry key. Error 5, access denied. I tried as admin and the problem still persists. I tried to run the registry editor and access, but still the problem persists.

    For the complete error message:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/MediaProperties/PrivateProperties/Joystick/OEM/V8/AXES/0ID_8888 & PID_030

    RegCreateKeyEx failed; Code 5 access denied

    I can retry, ignore, stop the program. I run Windows 7. It is a big problem for me because this PC is also to play games, can't really do this without my will.

    I solved the problem some time ago btu don't remember how. I think trying to let the program us firewall or try to disable all firewall and installed, I'm pretty sure something along these lines has helped.

  • Deny access to Internet with PIX 500 series

    I need deny all access to the Internet for some guests at various locations. We use the PIX 501 and 506 firewalls to create a full mesh of VPN between offices. How to configure access lists to deny access to the Internet to only a certain number of hosts?

    Configure an access inside the interface list and begin by denying the host that you want to block after that add the hosts and protocols that should be able to connect to the Internet.

    example:

    Internet access list deny ip 192.168.1.10 host everything

    Internet access list deny tcp host 192.168.1.10 any eq 80

    allow Internet access list ip 192.168.1.20 host a

    ...

    Give me a more detailed example.

    You can also work with groups of objects to be more specific and group several UDP or TCP port.

    example:

    object-group service tcp Web

    EQ object of port 80

    EQ object of port 443

    object-port eq 21

    internet access list deny tcp 10.2.1.0 255.255.255.0 any object-group Web

    Internet access-list permit tcp host 10.2.1.10 a host Web object-group

    allow a whole list of internet access

When I create a job as user SYS, labor runs well, but the same fails when I run it as a user of the application. I'm sure I'm missing a few privileges. I go through internet, MOS for a solution, but could not find a (my bad!).

    Grateful if you could point me the right direction.

    Here is the work:
    BEGIN
    dbms_scheduler.create_job(
    job_name => 'mytestjob',
    job_type => 'executable',
    job_action => '/u01/myexpdp.sh',
    enabled => TRUE,
    auto_drop         =>   FALSE);
    END;
    /

    exec dbms_scheduler.run_job('mytestjob');
    performance of the work as a user 'TEST '.
    SQL> show user
    USER is "TEST"
    SQL>

    SQL> exec dbms_scheduler.run_job('mytestjob');
    BEGIN dbms_scheduler.run_job('mytestjob'); END;

    Have you defined a credential for your host with dbms_scheduler.create_credential connection and specified the credentials with the work?
