  Well, that true, you will lose a few parameters as the interface will change to the rest of the default values that everything will stay as it is.

  The actual location of the preferences of Photoshop CC2015 is:

  C:\Users\User Name\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC2015\Adobe Photoshop CC2015 settings

  Although removal of preferences to each launch to get the plugin does not sound to be a solution.

  You can reinstall this plugin, as seems to be the cause of the corruption of preferences.

  I wonder how I can get the best of my graphics card. I have a 6490 M AMD Radeon, an i3 Sandy Bridge processor 2.2 GHZ and 8 GB of RAM. I don't mean to make Photoshop work as fast as possible. I know what computer I work with. What I need are the best settings for my graphics card (anti-aliasing, vertical sync etc.) all of these settings you can change the performance quality. How do they influence Photoshop? I would also like to know what are the best settings for Photoshop preferences. Most of my work of circles around design of websites (files with a lot of layers and low resolutions).

  Can someone recommend me a guide, or something to optimize my GPU, so I can achieve sharper and higher quality images when I deliver it?

  Download and install the driver of ATI Catalyst 13.3 beta 3.  So far this is the best version for currently published Photoshop.  I've been running for a month and he's strong and quick with Photoshop CS6 extended.

  You can do it, but you don't have to install cs3 in order to install your upgrade of cs5.5.

  You can launch the installation of cs5.5 and you will be asked your cs5.5 serial number.  Setup will ask you then select the product (in a drop-down list) calling.  Select cs3 and you will be prompted for the serial number for cs3.

  Enter the correct number at the right time and to proceed with the installation.

  If you no longer need these programs on your old laptop, disable (help > deactivate) before uninstalling so that you can keep your two activations.

  The new Photoshop is a subscription version.  You don't need an older version, and there is no discount for buying.  Even if you are looking to get CS6, there is no way to upgrade to CS3, so eventually you get the full version anyway.
