  This is a feature of basic Expression Language (EL), it is not specific to JSF.   I'm using ESXi 3.5 U4 on HP Proliant ML 110 G5 (the physical box has a single NETWORK card). Bravo for such a nice product. This is my 2nd post in the vmware community.

  I intend to install a private LAN on ESXi so that there will be:

  • vSwitch 0 is connected to the public interface card

  • vSwitch 1 is a host only switch for local networking between virtual machines (not accessible from the outside)

  • vSwitch 2 is connected to the interface on the network management card

  My first VM is destined to become the firewall & proxy reverse with two NICs (a public face & other LAN private oriented). Now, I want to access this first VM to hypervisor using dropbear dbclient. Is this possible?

  This is important because I intend to change the public IP facing if and when necessary the hypervisor host first by accessing the first VM on its private IP address and then change the public IP to my network edition on this configuration.

  Is it possible anyway?

  N ° ESX server does not have a door hidden IP connection backdoor on the virtual machine.  To do this, you will need to make the routable network (service-> public IP console), not a good idea.  Or, have a 3rd NIC on the 1st vm to allow this communication to occur.  You can also add a 2nd service console on the internal network and allow ESX to communicate this way, but networking normal rules apply in this scenario as well.

• Unable to connect to the main DNS server when you try to access the internet

  Computer has worked fine for the year last until 2 weeks ago and now unable to connect to the internet.

  Windows Vista on broadband and services connected directly to the modem by ethernet.  Provider Internet has run tests and confirmed modem is fine and it's like my laptop runs very well on it.

  Re-initialization of the modem, internet works and you can type in a few places and it seems OK, but you can't do anything on a site, it is, enter the details and even if you try and enter anything, you can usually view 2 sites and then it goes again.  However, the network icon shows that on and connected to the internet.

  A few things you can try...  [This will be the Windows to try to automatically fix your connection]

  PS: If it becomes really hairy, you can provide NETSH DUMP (this provides virtually all network configurations)... You certainly shouldn't need to re - install Windows.  There is probably a setting of network configuration problem that causes this problem.  Good luck!

The plan is to connect our EMC VNX directly on the fabric of interconnections as the chassis will be the only system for access to the SAN, after migration from our current system. The fabric interconnects will be transmitted to (2) 4500-X switches configured in a vs.

  My father has just got a photosmart 7510.  I have a trendnet wireless router, which has a few computers connected wirelessly.  To get these to connect, I had to modify the IPv4 settings to set the default gateway and dns server addresses main address of my router. On the printer, I can find where to enter the default gateway, but NOT the primary dns server.  Printing of network configuration settings shows the dns backend as 0.0.0.0, as is the case, the router gave the printer MAC address, but they cannot talk to each other on IP and of setting up the PC on the network, I know that it won't work correctly together w/that.

  Oh, OK.  We should perhaps solve the problem of connection to the router, get the printer connected to it with a DHCP address, then go to the printer web page and tweak it.

  -Reboot the router by removing the power momentarily.

  -Change the channel to 11 router and make sure that you use WPA or WPA2

  -On the printer to go wireless > restore network keybord.

  -In the same network menu, run the Wireless Setup Wizard.

  What antivirus you have installed before? Is the virus/malware-free system? If you have a current antivirus installed and you went through at least some of the malware removal steps I list in the link I have given if you are sure that the system is clean, uninstall McAfee and see if that solves your problem. If you connect to the Internet behind a router, you can be sure for this quick test. If you are connected directly to a cable/dsl modem, then firstly download Avast or even Microsoft Security Essentials (both free). Then, disconnect from the Internet and uninstall McAfee. Install the antivirus of your choice and test. If all goes well, your problems have been caused by McAfee. This is not surprising since McAfee is perhaps the worst choice for safety, we could do.

  If you had any antivirus installed before McAfee, then you must go through all stages of thorough removal of malware listed in the my link before anything else. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  (2) Let's say I want to use Windows Home Server as a guest within ESXi operating system.  It formats the disks using standard NTFS that can be read by any Windows machine.  (eg. you can remove the hard drive of the server and paste it into any other computer and you can read it).  How would this work in ESXi?  ESXi would force first all of the disk formatted to VMFS and then have NTFS below?  (so you could not "access the drive except in other machines on ESXi)

  Open, click OBIEE administration tool to manage-> Security-> user.
  Double-click the user who must have the permission of direct execution of the database application. In the drop-down list, select 'allow '. Hope this will solve your problem.
