  If your computer is on a workgroup, you have the ability to turn password protection on or off. Disable password protected sharing on the computer that is connected and check if you are always prompted for a password.

  1. open the network and sharing Center by clicking theStart button, clicking Control Panel, click network and Internet, click network and sharing Center.

  ·        Click the arrow next topassword protected sharing, and then click turn off password protected sharing

  2. click onapply.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  Note: If you change the password on one computer, you will need to change it on the other computer as well, otherwise you will again be asked a password.

  Hello (again),

  Anyone know how to configure Adobe Bridge CC to be able to access the photos directly in the Photos of Mac (Yosemite) application?

  Currently I am save the photos I want to work in separate folders (in the Finder) and access to respective locations via the bridge. I would use Bridge to browse the photos I want to work directly in the Photos app, work on it in Photoshop and then save them using the Finder.

  I'm not sure that you understand the workflow that you are looking. Why do you use Photos to all with a workflow of Photoshop? Bridge can see all the photos you have on your hard drive, then open directly into each Camera Raw (raw, TIFF, JPEG), which is a wonderfully easy to use application, and from there you can open directly in Photoshop, if you want to change additional files. OR you can save on your hard drive in one of the standard image formats directly from Camera Raw. Bridge cannot look in the catalogue of another company, that contains thumbnails and change data, but not the files themselves.

  I have a lot of photos in Lightroom 4 on my laptop. All are DNG and tag keywords and caption added to each image. When I switch to Lightroom 4 an another computer keywords and captions are lost when I discovered the images in LR4. I thought that keywords and caption have been stored in the DNG file. How can I move the files to another computer without losing the keywords and captions?

  By default, keywords and captions are not stored in the DNG files, nor are they stored in any file of the photo (JPG, TIF), nor are they stored in the sidecar files in the case of the FIRST. These information are stored in the Lightroom catalog file. Optionally, you can have Lightroom write this information in the DNG or another file.

  To transfer photos with their metadata, select the photos you want in Lightroom, and then file-> export as catalog. Just move to the other computer. Then, file-> import an another catalog and in the catalog transferred file.

• Facebook cannot access the photo library

  When I try (on a Macbook Pro) 'create album' or 'add photos' on the women's FB page, I can see, but cannot access its photo library.  Why?  I can, however, access the photos directory - unfortunately, uses Photo pictures are not stored there.   Apple told me that they no longer support iPhoto, but were instead switching to 'Photos '.  So that's where all the images are imported from the camera.  WTH?  It shouldn't be this difficult.

Is there a way to merge bookmarks on every computer in the library of a bookmark that contains all bookmarks on both computers, so I'm not all bookmarks in sync?

  Just to be clear, this is something that we have commented several times in the forum, Firefox Sync adds everything that is already in the device for the account and pushes this info for the rest of the devices.

  So if you have 2 computers with data X and the other with the data from there, once you set up synchronization in both computers you will have X + Y at the same time.

  It is possible that you downloaded the demo of creative cloud of Lightroom. The perpetual license key will not work. Uninstall the version on the second computer, it doesn't bother your catalog, preferences and personal files.
