To adapt to several frameworks for content object

I have a document with hundreds of images, the half that have an object style applied called "BL" I need the frame to hold the content. (The style of the object already has to adjust proportionately.) I don't want other frames of images to change, however, because those who have a different object style "BC" that are deliberately set to crop a part of the image. Y at - it a script to run that identifies the style of the object management and the framework adapts to the content?

Hey sorry, I missed the if condition in my script.

Try this,

for (var i = 0; i)< app.activedocument.allpageitems.length;="">

{

var pageItem = document.allPageItems [i];

If (pageItem.appliedObjectStyle == App.activeDocument.objectStyles.Item ("BL"))

{

pageItem.select ();

pageItem.fit (FitOptions.frameToContent);

}

}

    Is it possible to duplicate a link to the page on several pages, for example in a table of contents?  I have a 140 document and each page needs a link to the table of contents.  I am familiar with how to add the link on each page, but I hope that there is a way to reproduce it, save me time.

  • To scale an imported graphic (framework and content at the same time)

    I read the help files, the knowledge base, even watched instructional videos but can ' t find a way to scale a placed graphic. I understand the difference between a frame and the content. I can put the scale either by using the mouse or digital controls. But to measure these things, what I owe to scale each seseparately?

    For example, I want the picture size to 2.0 inches wide. I don't see a way to do this in a single operation.

    I see that you CAN do in %. Select the image of the object and if you the size to 50%, it works - framework and content go to half size. But if I size dimension (width = 1.5 "), I have the frame, then the content.

    Is there a way to act on the structure and content at the same time?

    It is InDesign CS3 on Mac.

    It is not really intuitive. Select the image, and then look in the control panel for the horizontal and vertical scale fields, which should all two say 100% when you first select an object. The unit of measure in these areas by default is %, but as any of the numeric fields of ID, you can use any unit you want, as long as tell InDesign what units you are using. If you want to 2.0 ", enter 2.0i (you need not nitrogen) in the width field and press ENTER. Your frame and content will scale to 2 ".

  • When I send several documents for signature, how can we separate these documents again once I got the signature?

    When I send several documents for signature, how can we separate these documents again once I got the signature for each of them. Its way easier if I send all together, because the signatory needs to sign once and then just click on the other signature fields, but if I separate documents, how I divide again?

    Hello Anna,

    If you have a professional account, there is a feature that you can enable to recover separate documents. You can go to the account-> account setting-> general framework 'Keep the separate documents' and select Save.

  • Screen reader accessibility for noninteractive objects

    I work at 8 Cp and try to do a course entirely compatible Section 508. I tested with the Window-Eyes screen reader. The screen reader can access the reading and fine TOC bar buttons, and it usually recognizes interactive elements on the screen. However, most of the time, the screen reader is not recognizing the legends or the intelligent forms with text on screen. Many slides are just text and a button transparent text to pause the screen, therefore, that I need the screen reader to read the content of the course. According to the documentation, I shouldn't copy the text in the name of accessibility for each object, although I tried in a few places without success. The accessibility feature looks so flaky. From time to time, I can get something to work, but not completely, or I can't repeat.

    I was able to get the screen reader to read the text if I remove all the interactive elements, including the reading and TOC bar. In other words, if I have a class 1-slide, Captivate accessibility works. As soon as I try to give people an option to move to the next slide with a control button or the play bar, it stops working.

    Yes, accessibility is enabled. I tried to hide the rectangle around the objects in HTML5. I tried editing both SWF and HTML5. I tried to text buttons transparent instead click on the boxes, which seemed to make a small difference. I tried different shortcuts and ensured that I never use the same shortcut twice on a single slide.

    How access a screen reader text within Captivate content? The documentation says you can access it with arrows, but it does not work. People do in the real world in order to make it accessible when the program does not work the way that the documentation says it should? I know from reading other threads that some organizations have given up and just went to provide text alternatives.

    I am open to any suggestion.

    My suggestion is that do you what others have already done.  Try to make Captivate content "fully Section 508 compliant" is not a realistic goal.

    As you noted, screen readers prefer to pay attention to the interactive objects.  If you must use interactive objects even for text objects that does not need to be buttons.  (You can set their action IT success to no Action so that they just sit and do nothing.)

    But you're still going to have problems at some point and these questions will be showstoppers.

    So, save yourself a lot of hassle and invoke the clause to exhaust all of the Section 508 and W3C accessibility documents which allows you to offer a "text alternative".  Create an accessible MS Word or PDF document that contains the same content.  You're going to do in a short time it would take you to try in VAIN to get e-learning content of Captivate to satisfy all the rules of Section 508.

    Probably NOT what you wanted to hear, but I really think someone needs to say this.

    It is a problem with the code you are using, to remove the lines marked in red and check if it works then. Or move the code of swfobjects, (6 off) above any other javascript code you have at the bottom of your page.

  • Search for content in pdf files stopped working after the migration of Windows 2008 Indexing Service

    Hello

    We have designed a search custom as an aspx page that uses the Indexing Service to search for content in a set a which coexist document types (doc, pdf, xls, etc.)

    We moved to a Windows Server 2003 Indexing Service to Windows 2008 and since the Indexing Service has stopped the search pdf files. The search returns only another type of pdf files.

    On the new server where the Indexing Service, I installed Adobe PDF iFilter 11 for 64-bit platform, I think it's the plugin the Indexing Service uses to find the content of pdf files.

    Does anyone got the Search Indexing Service content in PDFs on Windows 2008 server?

    Thank you

  • Update version 1.11 of the framework for Windows drivers installed then reverts changes (KB2761494)

    Compter starting December 14, 2012, framework for drivers Windows Update version 1.11 installed then reverts the changes made after the reboot. My computer is Vista SP2, x 86 32-bit. All other updates were up-to-date.

    I uninstalled all versions of .NET 3.5 and 4.0 and then performed the "aggressive" MS Fixit 50202. I then ran that Windows update manually to reinstall .NET and subsequent updates except framework for drivers Windows version 1.11 by hiding. Then I restored the driver framework hidden update and run this update. The update has been successfully installed, a reboot is required.

    After the reboot, Windows open and reported "configuration of updates: stage 3 of 3 to 65% (pause loooong, 2 minutes), then moved to 71% (another long pause, approx. 1.5 minutes), moved to 78% (about 1 minute), moved to 100% then quickly pointed out that the update failed and returning from changes.»

    During this attempt, Windows did not start. It was frozen on a black screen! No hard drive, no display activity. Manual AC offshore and under tension. Windows started and reported "updates were not correctly configured. Returning from the changes. "And finally, Windows starts normally.

    Event Viewer error Windows Servicing 26 times at the time of the recovery. Thank you.

    Hi Georgeatech,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

    According to the description, it looks that you are not able to install Windows Driver Framework version 1.11.

    However, we need more information about the issue to help you better.

    Please help me to answer these questions.

    1. What is the "Windows Driver Framework version 1.11" error?

    2 have had any changes made to the computer before the question.

    I have a couple of steps that should help you to solve this problem.

    Method 1:

    Follow these steps to see the updates of Windows are omitted.

    a. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, all programsand then click Windows Update.

    (b) in the left pane, click on view update history.

    Method 2:

    In addition , visit this link and see "How to avoid this problem" of this link and check:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/949358

    Note: Try the steps mentioned in the 949358 KB if you get this message even after execution of method 2.

    Also, try the steps mentioned in this link and check:

    Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

If a specific set of files is identified by its name, exclude only files instead of the entire file. Sometimes, the complete file should be excluded. Do not exclude any of these items, based on the file name extension. For example, don't exclude all files that have a said. Microsoft has no control over other files that may use the same as these files extensions.

    Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

    I hope this helps. If you have questions more related to Windows, feel free to post here at Microsoft Community.

  • I have a laptop on vista home-use. When you look in Control Panel - be uninstall, should there be several entries for SQL server, or one or none?

    I have a laptop on vista home-use.  When you look in the control panel - and then to uninstall, should there be several entries for SQL server, or one or none?  Each entry seems to have a different digital denotation, but apparently I should have only one entry maximum.

    The reason that I ask is that I have had problems in the software.  I want to uninstall everything that is not supposed to be there.

    Some lines of programs listed show information... some lines are completed.

    When you click on a line that is complete, I am allowed the usuall to uninstall, options etc.

    When you click on a line that is not complete, I'm not allowed the option uninstall.

    The Compact Edition and the full SQL Server can be installed at the same time without any problems. I saw SQL Server2005 apparently installed by a manufacturer, perhaps to support some software they have grouped in. He could have an Acer.

    I do not know what cause the problem with the uninstall option is not available. Information to fill in these fields are in the registry.

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall if you want to watch.

    It could be the result of a broken uninstall or a bad registry cleaner. I'm not aware of anything that would fix this. You can try this http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

    but you may have to reinstall programs later.

    You need two redistributable Visual C++ if you have programs that need it, which is likely. They had several updates that fits into the list programs. I have two for 2005 and six for 2008.

  • Search for VG for content ID; Invalid signature digest 19908830 file...

    Hello

    A few months ago I published my first Android app and used the signature line of blackberry and packaging tool to transform the original apk to a folder bar file and also publish this app on Blackberry. Everything went well and my application is in line for more than three months.

    In the meantime, I have published a few updates to the Android version and last week I had the intention to update the version of Blackberry as well. I used the tool of packaging in line with the same keys again and everything was fine, i.e. a bar file was created and the online tool told me that everything was ready to publish it to Blackberry World.

    Now, when I create a new version of the app in my account on the portal of the seller, after trying to download the bar of the file, the following error message appears:

    Search for VG for content ID; 19908830 digest of invalid signature for main manifest file assigns System.exit unauthorized calls!

    I have already contacted your email support and they told me to ask my question here in this forum, because they could not help me by email.

    Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards

    Rafael

    This isn't just the bar file... It also includes the name of the app... Also if the feature is broken for name / barfile, I expect, it can be broken for non-ascii characters in other places as well...

    Online search of your bar record gives name name of the app on android as 'Review Binnenschein CH'. If it's your application, it has the character not ascii - u in the name.
