To export a part of the first timeline to the video

I have a five-minute video, already implemented in Adobe Premiere CS4.

I want this chop 5 shorter videos.

I tried to set the In and Out points and export, but it always exports the entire video of 5 minutes.

Is there a way to export only a portion of the chronology of the first?  Or I have to create 5 copies of this Premiere Pro project and chop off the unwanted parts to make shorter videos 5?

Thank you.

Check the work area bar in the export settings.

    It plays OK in iMovie.

    Hello Tokyo,

Thanks for the screen shot showing the corruption of the shared iMovie project. It is encouraging that the project plays well in iMovie, but we need to isolate what can happen here.

Before you begin, it is always good to have up-to-date backups.

You have tested with different resolutions.  It also happens with different Compression and quality settings?

If it works, it can get you an export but we should always isolate why these exports did not work.

This happens with other projects?  If this isn't the case, then there is a problem with this project specifically.

If you do not currently have another project to test with you can create a new little project for the test.

If the problem is with just the initial project, you can duplicate to troubleshoot a copy.  Duplicate project by clicking on it in the Finder and choose duplicate.

That your project contains only clips and transitions, first to see if it is a question of transition by removing the (or half of them) and to share to see if it works now.  If it works, one of the deleted transitions is the question and you can begin to add to that their return to isolate.

If it is not yet implemented with no transition, then it can be a problem of clip. As with transitions, take half and test.

iMovie (2013): organize your events and projects

Continue to isolate to refine the offending clip.  Then re - import fresh clip and test.

Note to check 'the other half' if necessary, it may be easier to delete this test project and to reproduce the original again to continue his tests.

If the problem occurs with all projects and then see if there is a problem with your user account settings by testing with another user account.

including the iMovie user specific files:

    iMove 2013:

    ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.iMovie.app

    ~/Library/caches/iMovie/

    3. search for and move plugins QuickTime of third party on the desktop:

    / Library/QuickTime /.

Here's the Apple Codecs that do not need to be removed:

    /Library/QuickTime/AppleIntermediateCodec.component

    /Library/QuickTime/AppleMPEG2Codec.component

4 restart the computer and test. If it works, you can remove the files from.  If no change, you can put the removed preferences by replacing the newly created files.

If the problem occurs with the new user iMovie itself may need to be reinstalled.

  • How to export an image from the video clip of the first Pro to Photoshop for corrections and back.

I want to export a video clip in Premier Pro on Photoshop for minor corrections throughout, then back to the first Pro. Corrections will be the same for each frame in the video. What is the best way to achieve this? If it makes any difference, I work with clips of R3D monochrome 6 K.

    Hi TR.

Try to import the file directly in Photoshop. If this does not work, report.

    Thank you

  • Export-rough on only a specific part of the video

I exported the video of this project before, to H.264 1080 p 24 frames per second and it worked perfectly fine. I used the same exact settings to export this section small 1 minute, and with the video from the same source as before, still now export is jerky as hell. What could possibly happen?

You can create a new sequence and drag the images of the old in the new.

You can also make a new project and import old project in this new.

    See if this will help.

  • remove the light reflex in one part of the video image

    Hello

I need to remove some reflex of light in my video (example image below).

I can't open the AVI / MOV files in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. Is there a chance to correct that (limited to the small part of the image) using Adobe first Elements 10 or Adobe Premiere Pro CS6?

How can I do? Here are the 3 images.

    The camera on a tripod?

If so, you can easily hide the part of the image and use the levels effect to reduce glare.

Because of the horizontal portion, you should probably use the cache 16 points. There are actually 9 points the mask 8 points will do the job as well. You can use a matte, but it will allow you to animate as easily if it is needed.

I put the image on track 1 and track 2 copy. I applied the matte effect of garbage and the levels effect track two.

If the camera was not on a tripod, you can animate the matte but it will take much longer.

I created my mast with two images showing, but if I put the eye on track one, that's what I see:

I understand it correctly? Is that what you wanted to do? I don't have the too dark window frame. You can still see a few highlights, which is as it should be, I think.

  • 0x945002D, I get this error code when I try to record a movie, help please. The error occurs when it gets to a certain part of the video

I have a section of the video and when the recording function gets to it, he stops and says I have to remove it, it is saved as .wmv. I try to record on DVD and/or video high definition, but always stop at this one video clip. Help please.

    Just a thought...

The. Clip WMV in question may be corrupted in some
as well as Windows Live Movie Maker problems
    This encoding.

Sometimes import a. Clip WMV in a conversion
program and convert it to WMV will clear up the question.

I know it may sound redundant but the conversion process
creates a new version of the. WMV file that would work
    best in Movie Maker.

If the. WMV file has previously been converted to another
format... it may be best to start with the original for file

(the 'direct link' is faster download)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup290.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the final screens)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
    Drag > FFSetup290.exe< out="" of="" the="">
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

  • How to make a specific part of the video blurry

    Hello

What is the easiest and most flexible way to make a specific part of a blurred video? It should be possible to create animations of movement with it because the party that should be blurred in the video also changes.

I read an article about it on help.adobe but I can not find! A common way to do are probably just copy the movie, but I don't like this method.

  • Parts of the video in slow motion

Hello, I'm pretty new to adobe after effects. I tried to start creating a quicksilver (the superheroes quicksilver) effect using time remapping and force motion blur. I recorded the video on my computer. When I play the video, some games played at 30 fps (the regular fps of the video) and the parts where the effect always remains smooth. However, at the points of the video, the video plays with unstable idle. I don't know how do to have the video stay smooth any time its been recorded in the computer. Am I missing something? Please help me. I would really appreciate it.

  • Select the part of the video image and place it in the video

Sorry to bother you all and I can't even be sure of what I want to do is first - I have the master collection and one of the reasons why I've finally graduated to Adobe with video creation is a coach showed me the a few years ago how to select the part of my video (in my case (, horse's head) and playing that clip in the corner of the main video at the same time - until the head (for example) is considered a close to the top in the corner and play at the same time. I now cannot locate the trainer and may not work on terminology appropriate to get a reasonable response on the research. When he showed me how do, he simply pointed out the top horses for the horse played and clicked on something in the menu and it was represented at the same time. If anyone can help - even with the terminology of search - I thought it was PIP but I can't seem to get what I want from these tuts. As you can see I'm not ready for the great film, but I'm learning better what I can create. Thanks in advance, Julie

    Julie,

Place a copy of the clip on a higher video track above the original. Place an effect of cropping on this clip to keep only the part you want to use. Then use Motion/scale/Position to create a PIP effect.

  • In Movie Maker, I want to place a photo on a part of a video without stopping the audio from the video.

It's all in Windows Movie Maker (Windows Vista)

    Example:

First of all, I want to have a video (with audio),
change photo (with audio video) and then continue to the same as before (with audio) video

I have a video with audio.
I want to put an image instead of the Visual part of the video.
But in doing so, I want to still the audio from the video to play while the image is on the screen.

Please help me, I need the answer as soon as possible.

    Hi benlach,

Welcome on the site of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.  I suggest you try these methods

    Method 1:

    1. drag a copy of the video on the audio / music.

    2. her completely to the left on the track.

    3. right click / Mute the Audio track... now the audio will be separated from the video but still play correctly.

    4. divide the video and to delete an article of the same duration as it turned again.

    Method 2:

1 divide your video clip on each side of the area where will be the stills.

    2. now... drag the part cut on the audio / music. BTW... If you want to add a second 5 again... Remove 5 seconds of the video clip. (Info below on the separation if you need)

    3. slide your shots yet to the time line and drop them to the location where you have removed the video.

    4. the Audio clip on the audio / music can be dragged to the right or left to adjust its position.

    Info on splitting...

"Split a Clip in Movie Maker 2.1"

    1. drag the video clip on the timeline.

    2. play the video/audio by clicking on the 'Play' button under the display screen.

    3. you will see the playback indicator (vertical line) to move forward on the scenario.

    4. click on the "Pause" button at the location where you want to cut and type... CTRL + L or click the "Split" button at the bottom of the display screen. (You can also make adjustments by dragging the playback indicator)

    5. as the many coves that you want and delete unwanted items by right click / Delete.

And... Movie Maker 2.1 shows that all of the other images. To see all the pictures of Movie Maker 2 shows you all-other-frame. While you are editing project, Movie Maker Vista displays each image. It is generally not a problem ignoring middle managers, but sometimes you notice a flickering image in a clip that is a "stray", and you can not see or cut it out. If you apply the Slow - Down - half video effect to a clip in the timeline panel, see you then each image rather than everyone. You can see the frame problem and separate out. Remove the effect of the clamp to return to normal.

Let me know if that does or does not work. Good luck!

    Hope it will be useful.

  • Can I use a theme to the video mask all audio playback?

I have a video of dance of my partner and me. Before the start of the current dance, we are always to a musical intro of 20 seconds. I want to hide the beginning of the video where we're right there and "cover" with a theme or empty block or another object on which I can also add titles / text. After the musical intro, to the part of the video where we really start to dance, I want the theme (or empty block) transition to the real dance video.

Is this possible? Thankfully, any help is appreciated by this newbie video!

Yes, you can do it with the image based on the image of iMovie.   This link in the online of iMovie Help menu will show you how:

    http://help.Apple.com/iMovie/Mac/10.1/#/mova1aaa682b

Place your background or other image on the timeline above your video.  (You can select a background and drag it to the timeline as it is an image.) Select and adjust its length to fit the part of the video that you want to hide.   Then click on the button insert in the toolbar at the top of your screen.  It's the button that looks like to the overlap of the squares.  In the selection box that appears, select the image in the image.   Adjust the size of the image in the preview screen to completely cover the screen.   Then click on the button Reset to the right of your screen.  The part of your video is now hidden by the image you have superimposed over the video.  You can now drag a title to the time line, placing above the overlay image and insert your text.

I hope the above is clear.  Read the above help link for more information.

  • Export of 1080/50i AVCHD to mpeg 1080/50i - video stutters

When you export the sequence in mpeg format, 1080/50i video stutters to 2 to 3 points. So I exported 3 parts of the sequence: no video stutters. Then I create a new sequence based on the result of the 3 video, export clips complete sequences as well as the video stutters exported again in some places.

    Can anyone help?

    Tom

I suggest that you download and install VLC media player, it's free

While that installation uncheck options want to add to your internet explorer.

Then play the movie with VLC and report back if you stutter

Windows Media is notorious for replaying is not media files very well especially those of high data rates and PAL settings file (1080/50i)

The audio of the video is also affected as he plays static of different frequencies.
