I can't get rid of Ask program because it is not among my programs
I can't get rid Ask program because it is not among my programs in Control Panel. I tried to follow all of the other suggestions I found on the Internet but without a bit of luck. Can anyone help, please.
Hi, please try to work through Remove Ask Toolbar and Ask.com Search by Malware advice - the article is a bit old, so you have to improvise!
Note that not all programs removal allows to detect all malware, you may need to run multiple or all of them.
After the withdrawal, you need to reset your home page and search, what you can do by running the add-on SearchReset.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

How can I get rid of unwanted programs?
I received a notice of Firefox (with the logo of Firefox) than "obsolete browser detected" and a box to click to update my browser. How can I get rid of the program "Systweak?
This program has been downloaded on my computer while I was with google as my ISP. I paid for the program because he said I had a lot of things wrong with my computer (even though I see that nothing happens). It seems that the only thing that I paid for, was the "protector of Advance system' and the 'RegClean Pro' which has scanned my"free"computer now wants me to pay another fee for it. I want to just completely get rid of the junk. I had the 'software to remove/change"under windows and have"supposed to be uninstalled"these programs, but they come again whenever I restart my computer - can someone help me?
Hi Mimi
You could try revouninstaller. You will need the paid version if you already deleted parts of the program. It's free for 30 days. Or you could restore the program by using the system restore and then use the free version. The program erases everything about the program. Just make sure you follow the instructions.

How can I get rid of the Aff JumpFlip packages, DocToTXTConvert?
I keep getting intrusive ads on the browser which I believe are due to downloaded software that includes JumpFlip, Aff packages and DocTo TXTConvert. I can't get rid of these programs to uninstall by using the control panel.
You can have an unwanted extension that injects ads. Try this:
Disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off. (Or if it's obviously bad, try to remove.)
Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
