  Is the method without TKPROFF to find the time to run a package that calls a procedure.

  (It took some time may be 4 hrs according to my watch).
  
  At this point if I want to find the time by a sql command that after running the package, which was the time.

  Before execution:
  SET TIMING ON

  Then run your procedure. For example:

  SQL> SET TIMING ON
  
  SQL> Execute my_pack.bal_proc;

• Identify the name of the schema in a procedure/package

  My google-fu is totally miss you on this one and I have a method for doing this already, but there is an insidious sense that there is a better way to do it there.
  
  Basically I have two schemas that have the same procedures, packages, etc. in them (separate for reasons of risk; leaves do not enter the problem of duplication of code to maintain...!) and in a few, there are references to the schema to which belongs the package/proc/function (for example for analysis of tables). In order to avoid the schema name and the nightmare of maintaining different publication for different schemas, hard coding scripts I want to code in order to determine which schema it runs under.
  
  I can't use 'USER' as which shows the user connected, and I want the name of the owner of the code being run.
  
  I came with:
  

  select username from user_users;

  but as I said, I can't help but feel that there is a better way.

• T430s - BSOD (of driver power state failure). Please help identify the driver

  I meet regularly with BSOD on my T430s / Win7 when switching mode standby (Fn + F4). The error message is driver_power_state_failure. This happens almost every day. Driving me crazy!

  I know it's a common problem (I also had with a former T500, but not on T420). After Googling around, I discovered WinDBG and how to identify the faulty driver that is causing the problem.

  However, I could not install the tool - or debuggers package (referenced on windbg.org), nor the tool set + a .NET framework from the Microsoft Web site. The old guard quit the installer with no message (although the Remove Programs dialog shows the thing installed, it seems to be no program to run), the latter does install without no diagnosis (installation only, tried the debugging tools tried to install the complete package - same result).

  So, can someone please help to analyze the memory dump and to identify the faulty driver? What file is needed for this - the memory full image (from folder/Windows /, ~ 500 MB in size) or the minidump file (from/Windows Minidump file / / /, ~ 700 KB in size)? Or both?

  Several days after, I don't get BSOD more, even though I kept pushing the laptop "standby mode" on a regular basis, with or without food. Since already BSOD passed almost every day (to, like, try every 3rd or 4th go to sleep) and now there is none, I would try and call this problem is "solved".

  I'm not really sure what has helped exactly - I've only updated (a little) drivers manually (after Lenovo update system running with only a few boxes checked). These pilots were audio, video and network ones. USB 3.0 driver has been updated before, but that alone did not effect.

  I've also updated the BIOS via the Lenovo system update (strange, but it worked, unlike my manual attempt via downdloading non-bootable-CD version of the Lenovo Web site).

  Hope this helps other people are having the same problem.

  I have a few here that might solve the problem.

  Step 1:

  You may need to start the computer in safe mode and uninstall the update, follow these steps to start the computer in safe mode:

  1 restart your computer if it is running.

  2. tap on the F8 key after your initially on powers computer.

  3. Once you see the menu Advanced Boot Options, you can stop tapping.

  4. use the up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.

  5. Select Mode safe mode with networking and press ENTER.

  6. you should see loading drivers and wait please.

  7. you should then be at the Welcome screen.

  8. connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.

  Step 2:

  Now, you may need to delete the contents of the download on your system folder, follow these steps:

  Click Start > type download in the start search > delete the folder KB972036.

  Step 3:

  Now, run Windows Update and allow to install KB972036.

  After Windows Update has finished reboot normally and everything should be fixed.

• trying to figure out the names of the packages...

  I'm following: A10_Writing_Your_First_Application_V5.pdf and writing within Eclipse Ganymede 3.4.2 projects

  When creating this sample package, the name is:

  com RIM. Samples.HelloWorld

  It works and creates the coresponding files in my workspace.

  Then, I tried:

  com RIM. HelloWorld

  and the program does NOT work on my Storm

  So there must be a reason why this package name is required, i.e. my Storm is looking for files in a specific folder, not just any folder. I have tried to identify the folder corresponding to the Eclipse plugin directory, and I see:

  C:\Program Files\eclipseGanymede342\plugins\net.rim.eide.componentpack4.7.0_4.7.0.46\components\samples\com\rim\samples\device\helloworlddemo

  I see some similarities...

  Could someone help me understand the requirements for the names of 'package', i.e. the folder tree in my project?, or direct me to a document where it is explained?

  If you have placed the source file in the particular package names that you have set, it should work.

  What do you mean by the method of logging? is there a utility to do this?

  even if it's not 'connect' mechanism but the simplest solution is to instrument your code to package with the DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO package programs. For example SET_ACTION at the beginning of each subprogramme in the package. See http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e40758/d_appinf.htm

• I try to install Creative Cloud on Mac. I downloaded the CCPackager and created a package. When I try to run the package, it freezes on install (technically it is said he is still underway while the remaining term is increasing constantly

  Set the permissions for everyone in the folder where CCPackager was created to "Read/write" active. It's strange because there is only one administrator account on Mac (and that the account already has read-write), but it seems to fix the problem.

  I have a page that contains 3 report areas, each with a checkbox column. The user has the option to select lines in each region and I need store the selected lines in a database table.
  I created the sub process to insert data into the table.

  Hi Prasanth,

  Your probably using the apex_item package to generate checkboxes. So, try to change the p_idx parameter.
  In your case, it is probably p_idx-online 1. In other 2 reports put at 2 and 3 and then to the process you can extract only with in APEX_APPLICATION. G_F02 and APEX_APPLICATION. G_F03 berries.

  When I tried to run this function in the package as below average way, im getting error as

• extract the package and the procedure name in the code

  In my treatment of exceptions, I need to register the name of package and procedure I have the exception. How can I get these two names without manually coding the names?

• Library ITunes-how to identify the original track

  I've searched the forums looking for an answer to this and it seems to be the same issue that dates back to 2007, so I guess the first question would be why Apple has not done something, rather than causing me problems whenever they release an update iOS

  OK - rant over! Now, I know there's the possibility of using the "remove duplicates" in the menu, but I had this problem for a while, and when I tried to remove the titles before, I got a warning message telling me that I was going to delete the original - so, how do I find which of the indicated path is the original?

  Now, I have six or seven copies of each track and suspect that this happened since a previous update changed my settings and deleted something that stopped the tracks are copied back to the devices in iTunes.

  Has anyone found a way to identify the original track so that I can remove all duplicates?
