I don't think that there is no easy way to do it.

    Alternatives can be:

    • Maybe insert the data required in the document source (before printing), using features (such as headers/trailers) supporrted by application of document source (for example, Word); drawbacks to this are not all applications supporting these inserts and (once inserted) what happens if the source document is copied to another work station?

  • the return address on the envelope does not print 4500 all-in-one

I am trying to print the return address on envelopes #10 and can't find the right place to put the envelope. I tried all locations to put envelopes and printer it crosses but does not print. I ran a cloth across and it. and when it prints I tried to put the envelope but the printer does not recognize an envelope. Any help will be appreciated.

    Hello

I suggest you contact the manufacturer of the printer and they shud be in a better position to tell you what should be the right place.

  • Epson print driver changes both margins to address for the envelope printing. Three other printers print the addresses of envelope with correct margins.

I bought a new all-in-one Epson Wireless WF-3540.  So new Epson technical support people had one to test my problem.  I like it a lot because it has two trays cassette for 250 pages each, and a page break back.  For the love of the work I do in this description I use the back form feed on the Epson only.

Suppose I have a business letter in Word 2007 using Windows XP Pro.  My default printer is a HP 932 C.  I click on Mailings, Create, envelope and print it.  The result is the number 10 envelope with the address of the left retour.3,.3 of the top and the address of destination 2 inches high and 5 inches from the left.  Exactly the way I want it.  A selection button.

Suppose I have install the new Epson WF-3540.  I opened the business SAME letter in the same Word 2007 using Windows XP Pro.  This time around with the Epson WF-3540, I followed the same procedure for click mail merge, Create, envelope and print.  The result is an envelope of number 10 with the return address 1.5 inches from left to right top et.4.  The destination address is 3 inches from the left and the top 2.25.  The non-professional delivery address looks and interferes with the USPS standards.

I worked on the problem for two days.  I was on the phone with Epson for a total of four hours.  Here are the various attempts to set this right using the Epson WF-3540.

    1. in the Ribbon to create open envelopes, click options, and set the margins for the return and destination addresses as I would like.  I always use the et.3 valeur.3 return address and the destination address in 5 and 2.  I put these values in the options, click OK.  Print the envelope, and it is printed as I've described above with Epson.  In looking at the options for envelopes that they were changed to Auto.

    2. I have a test with the help of the same letter of businesss, Word 2007 and Windows XP.  I set the default printer to the HP.  This time I select envelope, add to the document.  I see an image of the envelope, watching leaders aside, it looks I want.  I close Word 2007, without saving the changes.  I have change the default printer to the Epson, open Word, the same letter from the company and select the envelope in the document.  It seems to appear in the same strange settings how it prints.

    3. I tried to change the margins of the envelope in the document with Epson as default.  When I try to print it throws an error telling me that I am trying to print outside margins.

What are the effects of the behavior of the default printer?  Why the change in the appearance of the envelope both printed and in the document when I change printers.  What does the print driver? has to do with the formatting?  The installation of the Epson gives something in the registry that control margins almost anything.

Epson told me there is no problem, but they are ready to buy the printer back to me.  Remember that they don't even have one to test on.

I tried adding some dummy printers, without the actual printer and using the drivers only.  For example, I added an Epson ActionLaser 1100.  When I set it by default and use the same letter sales and Word 2007, I click on the envelope and add it to the Document, the addresses on the envelopes are exactly where I wait until they are, using the ruler on the side.

What is - this subject a new printer is to control this mess?  I'd love to keep him.  I do a lot of letters and need the rear feed and must be able to one click printing envelopes.

I had the same problem with my Epson WF-3540. Came to this site looking for the answer after the Epson site doesn't seem to have an answer. After reading the posts, I went to the printer, and I gave it a try more. I found what seems to be a solution but not transparent, that it worked.

I noticed that when I tried to print the envelope property printer box shows the paper letter size (8 1/2 x 11) and not an envelope (#10). I changed the setting as the skin #10 and checked manually minimize margins. I then used the button Add presets save this as # 10 envelope as a new preset. This allows to print the envelope in the current printing of the page with the ability to use almost the entire surface of the envelope. You then switch to printing standard predefined when you are finished.

  • LaserJet P1102w: Address in the wrong place on the envelope of 6 3/4 with LaserJet P1102W

When I print 6 3/4 envelopes in Word since my Windows 7 64-bit system to a new LaserJet P1102w address is correctly centered from top to bottom, but it is so far to the left half of the address is cut off from the envelope. The same settings printed correctly with my old HP LaserJet 1022nw printer.  Can HPW I fix?

Bear with me a moment... My printer is a different model than yours, but here's what I discovered. Firstly a bit of background. My old HP B209 printer would print envelopes card without problem, but when I started using my printer HP Photosmart 6520, it would just spit in the envelope without printing the addresses, even if I chose an envelope of greeting card in the printer properties. HP could not solve my problem and other sources on the HP Forum said that HP just made a blunder in designing is not the printer to print envelopes of greeting cards.

Finally after a year or two, a member of the HP Forum suggested I have try select the C5 envelope in printer properties and that is, the envelope printed however; the address printed back ok but send it to the address has been out of the envelope with only a partial address display. For some unknown reason, I selected 'options' on the printout of the envelope (a feature I've ever used) and learned that I could work out where the return address and send it to the address were located on the page. When you click the 'Options' button you can adjust the situation where each address appears on the page. You change the 'top' and 'left' numbers you can watch address icons (which appear as straight lines) are moving on the envelope. Pass each address around there where you want it and then try to print the envelope. If each address is too right or too far left or should be raised or lowered just play with the settings until the addresses where you want. Write your settings on a piece of paper and stick it on the side of your computer tower or someother convenient place so you can store these settings in the future.

Now... don't forget to change the envelope size to the default envelope size you are using in general. I always use a #10 envelope business for my personal correspondence. Otherwise, the next time you go to print a standard envelope (what size is that you are using) the parameters will always be in place for the envelope of 6 3/4 that you use and addresses does not print correctly. You will not need to change the settings of your default envelope size because it will always go to the value by default (unless you change it) hope this solution works for you.

  • Printing of envelopes with MX920 printer problems

With the help of MX920 printer with Windows 7 op, mail merge in Microsoft Word document system (linked to the Excel list).  He printed the first envelope very well, and then minutes later after the update the document, I was unable to print more! Support Code 1008; says no paper in the cassette (bottom), which is not true - it's where the envelopes are loaded.  I tried several times to create a document more; has examined all the instructions for printing the envelopes with the 920 (several times) and monitoring them carefully; tried to decrease the number of envelopes in the stack less than 10; has declined to only an envelope; turn the computer off and on again; turn off the printer and turn it back on. nothing worked!

Please help; I lost a lot of time on it; very frustrating! I can't find any useful messages.

Just curious - I lose toner whenever the printer goes through its warm up movements? If so, I lost a little!

Just solved my problem! A misunderstood the instructions; I didn't put the envelope against the wall of the BACK of the cassette.

  • When I print an #10 envelope, address back in the upper left corner is partially cut off.

I had the same problem on my Office Jet L7590, which is a number of years, just to show you how long this has been a problem with HP printers.

If anyone knows a fix for the L7590 I would of course appreciate of your.

Just don't tell me to download the updates continued, as I did when I tried to connect the printer to a network and I then spent the next six days software get old to work again because I never could get the software update to load correctly.

Way to go HP!  It of a shame they do big printers but suck bigtime to the software. Next printer will be anything but a HP.

Please come back to me @wml52. I checked the specifications of the printer and it shows that the bottom margin should be at least 0.63 in.. Assuming that feed you the envelope with the flap to the right, the address of the sender would then be printed on the bottom of the envelope (if I'm viewing this right), anyway, I think changing the way feed you the envelope in and changing the power settings in the print dialog box. The top margin should be at least 0.13 inches, so if you put the envelope and change the direction of flow we are able to get the address of the sender on the envelope that you expect it to appear.

You do not know if my thought process will be easy to follow, so if you need further explanation, please send me a screenshot of your envelope printing options. It might look like this:

I look forward to hearing back from you, and like you, I am eager to see this resolved. Thank you.

  • Return address does not print on the envelope.

I tried pringint "envelope pring" on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and the spacing is off.  Suggestions?

Good.  I wanted to just make sure, in this way, I knew I had all the information I needed.  With Windows 7, there is no software package, it used the drivers built into Windows.  This means that some of the features that you had to say THAT XP will not be more.  This option should not be one of the missing features, but it could be.  I just wanted you to know if the option I point you too is not here, that's why.  Now that you know that, you need to do to print on envelopes is set the paper size in the driver to match the size of the envelope.

To change the paper size on the print from MS Word driver:

    1. Click on file.
    2. Click on print.
    3. Make sure that the paper size is set to envelope #10.
    4. Make sure that the Orientation is set to landscape.
    5. The value of the narrow margins.
    6. Click on print.

Who should receive the print envelopes as they should.  Let me know what happens.

I work in Word 2007.  I put a return address in the envelope function to print several envelopes.  Now I can't get out.  The deletion does not work.  I know that I can click on the button "omit", but which must be done every time you print an envelope, and I remember to do it with all the envelopes that I print at work.  How can I get rid of this permannetly?

Click the Office button, and then click Word Options > Advanced Options .  Scroll down and remove the return address in the address box.  Click OK .
