Printing of envelopes with MX920 printer problems

With the help of MX920 printer with Windows 7 op, mail merge in Microsoft Word document system (linked to the Excel list).  He printed the first envelope very well, and then minutes later after the update the document, I was unable to print more! Support Code 1008; says no paper in the cassette (bottom), which is not true - it's where the envelopes are loaded.  I tried several times to create a document more; has examined all the instructions for printing the envelopes with the 920 (several times) and monitoring them carefully; tried to decrease the number of envelopes in the stack less than 10; has declined to only an envelope; turn the computer off and on again; turn off the printer and turn it back on. nothing worked!

Please help; I lost a lot of time on it; very frustrating! I can't find any useful messages.

Just curious - I lose toner whenever the printer goes through its warm up movements? If so, I lost a little!

Just solved my problem! A misunderstood the instructions; I didn't put the envelope against the wall of the BACK of the cassette.

  • Envelope printing problems with M401dn

When you print the envelopes with a M401dn Pro LaserJet, the return address is not properly merged, and there seems to be some random jobs printed in the buffer zone; the main address is printed correctly and properly merged.  I noticed the problem with greeting card envelope, and I've never had problems with before on three printers LaserJet previous (LaserJet II, LaserJet 5 p and LaserJet 2100).  With a few #10 envelopes, the return address is properly merged, but I always get the tasks in the buffer zone.

I get the same problem if I fold a piece of paper in half and then pass it in the envelope feeder.  If the envelope feeder is empty and the paper feeds from the main Board, the return address is properly merged but I always get the tasks in the buffer zone.

There no problems when you print just the documents.

I seem to get the same results using the PCL 6 or the PCL 6 UPD driver.

    Any ideas?

Hmmm... I could have sworn that I updated the paper type "Envelope", but obviously, I did not; with that restored, the problem seems to be fixed. Apparently, the fuser is powerful picky about the thickness of the paper.

Anyway, if someone experiencing similar problems, the paper setting could well be the cause.

  • You print envelopes with HP LaserJet CP1525nw color

I tried to print envelopes on our printer above.  My document is in Word is formatted accordingly for a #10 business envelope

Under the terms of the HP help function, I found the info on how to set up my document print options, then it would print correctly.

The first envelope printed on the side of Rabat; I have reloaded in Tray 1 and was ready.

The second envelope printed with success so I thought that I understood.  So, I loaded the tray paper with 5 envelopes, hoping to print them massively.  I couldn't get it work when I tried to print 4 at a time.  I got a "Paper jam in tray 2" error and I was not yet using tray 2.  I erased the 'problem' and AN envelope printed with success, then I got the same error message.

I had 2 envelopes more printed this way, but every time I got the same error message, erasing the machine and 1 printed envelope.

Frustrated, I cancelled the multiple print job and tried to print envelopes one by one.  Now it does not at all even if I delete the phantom paper jam every time.

Can anyone help with this?  It makes me nutty.

Background info: my husband (network engineer) install the printer.  I have over 20 years of experience in processing and usually have good results with appearing on printing problems.  It left me speechless!

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The CP1525 allows you to print envelopes. There are two ferries, which can be used. I will describe using only the lower tray. Normally, this tray is used for standard paper.  To use the letter envelopes, you must remove the tray and then make some changes. Remove all paper. There are supporters of blue color paper. Two are used for the width of paper. Move the cursor to the Center so that it will load the envelope with the top to the left. Put the envelope with the printable side upward and the top to the left. Slide the blue paper holders so that they touch the top and bottom. Then push the envelope completely backwards and then move the holder unique blue paper in the front to make it against the envelope. You're ready to print as much as the printer.

I select the printer properties. I indicate that I am printing an envelope. I had also to indicate the landscape. I also had to move the appropriate print areas where I want to be. Then I added my address and the address to where they're going. I'm not sure that I have everything but it should work well.

I only did this, but you can use two trays with one who holds a number of pages and the other for a certain number of envelopes.

  • Epson print driver changes both margins to address for the envelope printing. Three other printers print the addresses of envelope with correct margins.

I bought a new all-in-one Epson Wireless WF-3540.  So new Epson technical support people had one to test my problem.  I like it a lot because it has two trays cassette for 250 pages each, and a page break back.  For the love of the work I do in this description I use the back form feed on the Epson only.

Suppose I have a business letter in Word 2007 using Windows XP Pro.  My default printer is a HP 932 C.  I click on Mailings, Create, envelope and print it.  The result is the number 10 envelope with the address of the left retour.3,.3 of the top and the address of destination 2 inches high and 5 inches from the left.  Exactly the way I want it.  A selection button.

Suppose I have install the new Epson WF-3540.  I opened the business SAME letter in the same Word 2007 using Windows XP Pro.  This time around with the Epson WF-3540, I followed the same procedure for click mail merge, Create, envelope and print.  The result is an envelope of number 10 with the return address 1.5 inches from left to right top et.4.  The destination address is 3 inches from the left and the top 2.25.  The non-professional delivery address looks and interferes with the USPS standards.

I worked on the problem for two days.  I was on the phone with Epson for a total of four hours.  Here are the various attempts to set this right using the Epson WF-3540.

    1. in the Ribbon to create open envelopes, click options, and set the margins for the return and destination addresses as I would like.  I always use the et.3 valeur.3 return address and the destination address in 5 and 2.  I put these values in the options, click OK.  Print the envelope, and it is printed as I've described above with Epson.  In looking at the options for envelopes that they were changed to Auto.

    2. I have a test with the help of the same letter of businesss, Word 2007 and Windows XP.  I set the default printer to the HP.  This time I select envelope, add to the document.  I see an image of the envelope, watching leaders aside, it looks I want.  I close Word 2007, without saving the changes.  I have change the default printer to the Epson, open Word, the same letter from the company and select the envelope in the document.  It seems to appear in the same strange settings how it prints.

    3. I tried to change the margins of the envelope in the document with Epson as default.  When I try to print it throws an error telling me that I am trying to print outside margins.

What are the effects of the behavior of the default printer?  Why the change in the appearance of the envelope both printed and in the document when I change printers.  What does the print driver? has to do with the formatting?  The installation of the Epson gives something in the registry that control margins almost anything.

Epson told me there is no problem, but they are ready to buy the printer back to me.  Remember that they don't even have one to test on.

I tried adding some dummy printers, without the actual printer and using the drivers only.  For example, I added an Epson ActionLaser 1100.  When I set it by default and use the same letter sales and Word 2007, I click on the envelope and add it to the Document, the addresses on the envelopes are exactly where I wait until they are, using the ruler on the side.

What is - this subject a new printer is to control this mess?  I'd love to keep him.  I do a lot of letters and need the rear feed and must be able to one click printing envelopes.

I had the same problem with my Epson WF-3540. Came to this site looking for the answer after the Epson site doesn't seem to have an answer. After reading the posts, I went to the printer, and I gave it a try more. I found what seems to be a solution but not transparent, that it worked.

I noticed that when I tried to print the envelope property printer box shows the paper letter size (8 1/2 x 11) and not an envelope (#10). I changed the setting as the skin #10 and checked manually minimize margins. I then used the button Add presets save this as # 10 envelope as a new preset. This allows to print the envelope in the current printing of the page with the ability to use almost the entire surface of the envelope. You then switch to printing standard predefined when you are finished.

    4. In the devices and printers folder right click on your series Deskjet 4510 and left click on printer properties
    5. Left click on the Advanced tab
    6. Left-click on new driver
    7. When the new window driver opens just hit 'next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of printers on the right.
    8. Select HP as the manufacturer on the left
    9. DeskJet 9800 select the printer on the right. If Deskjet 9800 is only select "Windows Update" at the bottom left and once the update has been completed, you will be able to select Deskjet 9800.
    10. After selecting Deskjet 9800 hit next complete the new driver Wizard
    11. Under the printer properties window, select 'Apply' but do not hit OK
    12. Select the general tab

    17. Left click on the dropdown 'Normal' for the print quality down to the right and change its normal fast
    18. Press apply and OK
    19. Try to print!

  • Printing problems with XP and Lexmark-documents are just stuck in the print queue

Original title: printing problems with XP and Lexmark

Until yesterday, I was able to print OK using Windows XP and a Lexmark Printer series 3500-4500 with wireless capabilities.  Reported network test wireless (on printer) and report indicates that there are no reported problem, also did the diagnostic test and which shows no problem either.  I can't print and documents are just stuck in the print queue - please can someone help, it drives me crazy because it's probably a very simple solution.

I guess you do not have all of the error messages.

It is possible that comes to mind that your printer has received a new IP address of your router (this could easily happen if you have several computers and other devices that connect to your wireless network).

Find the IP address of the printer of his network diagnostic page.
Click Start > printers and faxes, right-click the printer and select Properties
Select the Ports tab, then click on the button "Configure Port" (be careful NOT to click anywhere in the list of ports)
Make sure that the IP address in 'Port settings' is identical to that shown on the diagnosis of your network printer page.

To avoid this problem in the future, you must configure the printer to have a static IP address.  See your printer User Guide for instructions.

Choose an appropriate subnet address (i.e., has the first 3 groups of numbers the same as the other addresses in your network) but who is not in the range of addresses assigned by the DHCP server on your router.  See the User Guide of your router for more details.

For some reason, I can't discern, he solvend also the settings of photo stream.

  • Printing problem with OE - 6 format since the upgrade to IE - 8: no space between the body and the subject line text.

My computer is configured with XP SP3 and IE - 8. I've been using Outlook Express 6.0 (update of MS according to needs). Messages are always printed correctly. Lately, however, the body of the message printed directly below the object without line - the space between them. This happens on my Brother laser printer and my HP inkjet printer. I have not changed my settings of the printer. I've recently updated to IE - 7 to IE - 8; However, I see nothing in the settings of IE - 8 to explain this change in print. I recently installed "MobileMe" Panel Apple configuration, which has installed a separate set of folders in the list of folders in OE - 6. I did a clean (with Revo Uninstaller) uninstalling the MobileMe Control Panel, removed the extra e-mail account/folders and rebooted. Yet the printing problem.

How to restore the space of line between the subject and the message body?

    Hello

    1. How is like print preview?
    2. don't you make changes to the footer settings?

    Method 1.
If that doesn't help you can not save the file wmp.dll
    a. log on as an administrator.
    b. Click Start, type cmd.exe in the Run dialog box right click on cmd.exe, click Run as administrator and then click on continue.
    c. at the command prompt, type regsvr32 oled32.dll and press enter and then click OK.

    Method 2.
If this problem started occurring recently, you can restore the computer to a previous state. You lose Internet Explorer 8 and return to Internet Explorer 7. In this way, we can check whether or not the root cause of the problem is installation of Internet Explorer 8.

I have windows vista Home premium and use a printer HP 8100.  Until recently, everything was fine, but now the photoviewer program and direct program photoviewer seem to have no possibility to change the default settings of the printer.  If I put the default value of the printer for printing General color, or spectator is printed in grayscale or black and white despite my change of the configuration on the preferences box.  If I change the default black and white printer, it only allows me to change color.  Any ideas on how to get this working again?

Say the HP support? Often with an HP printer, the solution the easiest is to unplug the printer, uninstall the HP printer via Add/Remove, runDisk cleaning software and restart. Then download/install latest drivers/software from HP and only connect the printer when the installation says.

Of course its possible allways the printer failed.

  • Printing problems with my HP LaserJet 3200

I'm having a problem with my HP LaserJet 3200. Or maybe with my laptop? Sometimes when I try to print, it shows an error in the printer status area and no ready button flashing on the printer. If I cancel the print job, disconnect the USB printer for 5 to 10 seconds, plug it in again, and then click Print - it works. I can print, copy and scan, so I'm hesitant delete the printer and add it again. I use Windows 7 64-bit. I have the above work around, and this may seem trivial it will work eventually, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to solve the problem. Thanks for your help.
