To restore my system to factory settings, but...

don't I have to do something first to my drive ssd as an erasure program or something? I intend to do this by using my exotic respawn records but also have my windows disks too. any help/advice/links to the popular step by step instructions.

Yes, the process is the same for the SSD or HARD disk. If the original image is damaged or missing, then the only option is to do a fresh install of Windows.

I'm trying to restore my computer to factory settings. I pressed ESC several times at the start to the top of the computer. Select the system restore, but the computer just hoot to Windows form. I can not connect to windows, because as some error loading windows.

Is there another way for me to restore the system to factory with a clean Windows 7?

    > is there a way for me to get the recovery disk?

    Two ways:

    1. in Windows system work, running the same version (32-bit? 64-bit?), you can burn a disc of "recovery."

    2. find a friend with a 'detail' in the Windows 7 operating system DVD (remember this is the same 32-bit or 64-bit, your system) and borrow the DVD of him/her, or get him or her to burn a copy of it.

  • I want to restore my VAIO to factory settings, but I had to replace the D drive. Problems?

I got VPCJ113fx/b for 2.5 years.  A year ago, the door of the external drive has failed and I got a new drive (non-usine) installed.  The computer has recently developed unrelated problems (Control Panel can not 'see' two installs of IE, Windows Update runs isn't more and others).  I would like to recover the original Windows settings.  I've got Carbonite data files are no problem.  The process of rescue/restore the control panel still works even if the current D drive is out of sync with the news of factory stored on the computer?  (If I have an emergency disk, I created when the machine was new or I would try to create a set of disks I could create now.)  I'm trying to think this through, but there's just too much I do not know the answers to.)

System recovery to recover your computer to its factory settings by default using the recovery comes with the computer partition.  If your recovery partition is still intact, follow the link below.

If this does not work then you can use the recovery disk that you created, and then follow the steps on how to perform a system restore using discs of recovery from the link below.

you need BOTH the exe and 7z files.  put them both in the same directory and double-click on the exe file.

    Available downloadable Setup files:

Help download and installation to Prodesigntools links can be found on the most linked pages.  They are essential; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click on a link that does not have these listed steps, open a second window by using the link to Lightroom 3 to see these "important Instructions".

  • Satellite A200-17O - how to restore Windows to the factory settings?

    Hello

I have a Satellite A200-17O. I want to restore Windows Vista to factory settings, I did not need to backup all the files. I don't have the product recovery CD. When I press F8 and click on the "Repair" option, it will give me all the options, but when I click on the option to completely recover the system (the one on the bottom), it will simply open a window telling me to back up my data, then theres a button 'OK', and when I click that, the window will simply close and return to the menu options. All I want is to return Vista to factory settings.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

Yes, normally you can restore your computer laptop initial configuration using disk HARD recovery option. Therefore, you must follow the instructions here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD1303440001R01.htm

If it doesn't work, you need to use the Toshiba recovery disc. If your computer laptop didn t come with such a recovery disk you create yourself using recovery preinstalled creator tool. This is mentioned in your user manual, have you checked it?

Therefore, you need a few blank DVDs. I recommend the DVD-R from Verbatim or TDK. Many users here have a good experience with these brands.

If you have any other questions, just after again! ;)

  • If I restore my computer to factory settings, I'll be able to recover all my programs?

I am wanting to restore my VAIO laptop to factory settings, but I am concerned about losing programs that I got with the computer of the plant, including several Adobe and Microsoft Office programs. These will be reinstalled with my recovery disks, or I need to reinstall another way?

    Hello

Yes, performing a full system recovery will erase all data on the computer and restore the computer to its factory settings. This will reinstall the pre-installed operating system, applications, and the original drivers. You can back up all important data before performing the system recovery.

How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

OK, just to clarify: you always use the same Apple ID, but you changed its name, correct?

If this is the case, you can go to iCloud.com or use find my iPhone app (free on the App Store) of one of your devices to remove the 4th icloud.

  • Reset factory settings but the recovery disc is not recognized

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-3030sd laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium installed OA.

I want to restore it to factory settings, but is not possible using Recovery Manager, because he does not see my recovery Partition.

Since I have recovery discs, I tried to restore my factory settings using the recovery discs.

However, it is also not possible. Even after setting my BIOS (boot order first DVD player) the laptop not start using the DVD player.

Then performed several actions (eventally I still adjusted registry) as mentioned by microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060/en-us?

Still not possible to start using a DVD player.

It goes the same for USB.

I can use my DVD player and USB but I can't boot from them.

How do I restore my laptop to factory settings?

I still have my product key and I was able to record an English version of Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 as an image on a DVD.

    What can I do?

Is it possible to mount it on my virtual DVD drive (BD - ROM drive) (so the picture of windows 7 in the virtual DVD drive and then install it?)

I hope that there is someone out there who is able to help me!

    Hello

Sometimes just set the boot priority in the bios menu does not work as it should.

    Try the following.

Insert your 1st recovery disk, and then click stop the laptop.

Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you start the launch of the laptop Boot Menu.

Select boot options ( f9 ), use the arrow keys to select the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER.  You can also get a prompt to "Press any key to" continuous - it if requested.

    Kind regards
