To show multiple values in the report?

Hi all

I have to show the value of prompt in demand from a prompt of dashboard.

If the type drop-down list command prompt, a single value, I can use variable presentation.

But I have a problem when multiple selection prompt property...

How to display selected prompt in the report header values?

Impossible to display the different values in a report header, but here is a workaround to display the selected values.

(1) create a report smaill with just a single column, the column that is used in the multiple selection prompt.

(2) put a filter on this "is invited" to receive the values selected from the prompt.

(3) to customize the header and enter, "selected to request values.

(4) place this report on the regular report.

Now, when the user selects values, the list of values will appear at the top of your report.

    I sent the unit test by mail.
    Please note that there are some hardcoded values when you use run_report_object (name of report server and host name).

  • Insertion of multiple values in the report (not in the database)

    Hello!

    I have a procedure that shows example of 50 people and for each text element three different person I access values and submit to the database. There is a check box for each line. I have a selection list of Pentecost that you choose the column and a text element where you enter the value to insert. What I want to do is insert this value just in the lines that have a selected check box. I would like to insert this value just in the report (not in the database) when I click on a button.

    What do I have to use javascript? I really have no idea how to do that.

    in the example above, I'm only a value as an out parameter. but I send you PR_ID of the loop.
    why I don't get all the values that the parameters.please offer a solution for me.

    I have somes types of units.  for example (kilometers, miles, knots, feet and metres).

    So, in the report of the IR, I want pick capable of showing a unit in time.

    For example

    Radio Group.

    Ground speed: (*) km/h () Mhp (Knt)

    Vertical speed: (*) ft/s (m/s)

    Can anyone help to build a code or point a direction to get above result?

    There are different ways to do this. Probably the easiest would be:

    1. Create lists of values (LOVs) for units.
    2. Add the elements of the Group of radio -based unity LOVs report interactive region (IR), by specifying one of the units as a default value.
    3. Present the radio group via the Items property of the Page to send IR region.
    4. Create multi-column report for each metric combination / unit.
    5. Control the display of the report columns (applies to IR, but also classic report columns) conditionally using value of element in the Expression 1 = Expression 2 conditions Expression 1 is the group element of relevant radio and Expression 2 unit LOV value corresponding to that used in the column of the report.
    6. Add a dynamic action on the evolution of the components of the radio to refresh the IR region.

    A less obvious approach would also use LOVs, group radio elements and dynamic action of change/update as above, but only have one column for each measure in the report. The column value is calculated using an expression based on the value of the radio group, for example:

    I created a direct request from the database that accepts input from a prompt by a variable of presentation, either placed in request of db query. I realized in the process that I had to give a default input to the variable of the presentation of the petition. The input variables passed from the dashboard quick came in the right format, only if they are placed in quotation marks, Eg: "Input_Var".

    After all this, I came across a problem when multiple values are entered, the query is generated with an incorrect format. Here is the example:

    Create a query variable 'req_var' in the prompt to serve in "VALUEOF (NQ_SESSION.req_var)" and pass it to the report. It will be useful.

  • Passing multiple values at the request of the State (no status page)

    I didn't know how to explain briefly what I need in the title of the discussion, that's why I added the song "(non page rapport)". "  I met a lot of threads associated with passing of selections multiple values from one page to another, or via a URL from one page to another.  I know how to do this.  The problem I have right now is trying to pass the commas of the values contained in an application to a report query element.  Here's where the "(rapport non page) ' comes into play."  I refer to the report query at the level of the application (i.e. shared components-> report queries).  I wish really it had another name for it.  "Report on the application of queries", perhaps?

    In any case, my report query has a bind variable, AI_ID_NUMBERS, that is defined correctly in the shared-> components report queries. However, when this item application has multiple values such that AI_ID_NUMBERS = 4, 5, 6, 7 etc., my URL looks like this:

    myapexsite.com/f? p = 456:2:1234567890:PRINT_REPORT = report_1:AI_ID_NUMBERS:4, 5, 6, 7

    So, this returns only one record for the report where the identification number is 4, one.  I tried a string parameter of Substitution of Application (URL_REPORT_1) with the two following variants (for which both return only a single record):

    Substitution string = URL_REPORT_1 and Substitution value = f? p = & APP_ID.:0 : & SESSION. : PRINT_REPORT = report_1:AI_ID_NUMBERS: & AI_ID_NUMBERS.

    Substitution string = URL_REPORT_1 and Substitution value = f? p = & APP_ID.:0 : & SESSION. : PRINT_REPORT = report_1:AI_ID_NUMBERS:-& AI_ID_NUMBERS. \

    returns...

    myapexsite.com/f? p = 456:2:1234567890:PRINT_REPORT = report_1:AI_ID_NUMBERS:4, 5, 6, 7

    Well, too bad. I realized the mistake I did.

    When you work with 'request report queries', there is an option to include variable bind, for example the application or page elements.  I had already done that, but for some reason, thought that I also had to pass the parameter and its values in the URL.  This is not necessary since the report query query already has the issue of the application/page related to it.  The following URL works fine:

    myapexsite.com/f? p = 456:2:1234567890:PRINT_REPORT = report_1

    And, Yes, it's the URL that is provided when you set up a "application report query.  I was thinking too hard.

    I am a bit stuck now to implement a modal pop-up/iframe/javascript and this forum is my last hope to solve this problem.
    Anyway, I will try to explain what I'm trying to accomplish.
    What I need, is: I want to have a SQL report, as first column I want to have an 'ID' of my table numbers and I want this column to have a "link in the column" located in the appropriate links "column attributes. The thing is that when I click on the link of the column (when I run my report on the Apex page) I need a JQuery modal window where the pop-up in IFrame will be another page and this page uses an 'ID' of my link URL column to display the data. So, basically, I want to pass a value of 'ID' of my page parent to my page of the child which appears in an iFrame modal window.
    And here's what I have:
    1. I have a SQL report:

    PS My hypothesis is that there is a problem with this part of my script

    Change your column to link to send the value of the subnet_id column to the function call (you mentioned, but I don't know if you've actually done m)

    JavaScript:ViewNetworkDetails(#SUBNET_ID#);

    You pass the value of the parameter to the function, but not defined all the parameters in the function definition (this is possible in JS, no other parameter is ignored)
    For example, to change the function to accept the subnet ID parameter (I'm really surprised how you missed it) and assign this parameter to a variable.
