• I had just installed Windows 7. I always play Scrabble on Pogo games but now the screen is too big and it cuts the bottom of the screen in the game and I see not the letters I have haveto choose. Any suggestions please.

  Suggestions as to how I can get the screen is smaller.  I also play hearts, spades and crib.  These screens are also too big, but it is not cut off from the important things.

  Do you get the display only problem with the games online, or also on the desktop?

  What browser do you use to go online?

  If you use Internet Explorer, you can check the level of zoom in the bottom right of the screen and set it to your liking.

  You can also try to optimize Internet Explorer.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Security, and then click delete browsing history.
  3. In delete the browsing history area, click Remove.

  A progress bar is displayed to indicate that the browsing history is currently disabled. Once this process is complete, test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly.

• Too big to get into the program memory

  Just installed windows XP media center on a computer Dell 600 M laptop, 512 MB of memory with a drive of 50 g. Installation was fine, but when I try the drivers or any executable application, it flashes on the command prompt and disappears without ever running the application, file or program. I decided to try to run the executable files in the BACK and takes the error that was there: "Program too big to fit in memory" no matter what exe I try running. I tried dell for video exe, network and audio. even tried different programs Zip extractor and they wouldn't install either for example winxip, winrar, 7zip, Zip drive. I also tried to use a version of XP pro without the media center, same results. Tried the safe mode, the same results. Any ideas please?

• The bookmarksdrop in the menu drop-down is too big, as it covers the greater part of my screen - how can I make it smaller.

  Whenever I select the menu drop down Favorites, it is so big that it covers the major part of my screen. Then, when I go to a folder in the drop-down menu, if I stop to any other folder, it opens and is so great that the menu drop-down or completely covered. This is VERY irritating and I never had this problem before moving on to Firefox 5.0. How do I don't cure it?

• too big to burn disc the recorded tv file

  Hi, I have a 5 hour tv program (recorded on Windows Media Center, Windows XP & about 9 GB) I would like to burn to a disc, but the largest disk, I found is 8.5 GB & library will transfer all the data. I am mainly interested to save the 1st 3 hours or so, but don't can't find a way to reduce the actual file in the library. Any suggestions please? Thank you.

  If you want to burn the full TV then show you may have to use your favorite search engine and search for a software that will help you to compress the size of the file. But I'm afraid, compress the file size can reduce the quality of the video display.

  I'm facing a strange problem.
  
  I have an array with an element of date (date) and some digital stations. All rows in the table have the correct date component.
  
  But if I ask
  
  Select sum (a1), (a2) sum, sum (year) table where date > Xfecha it gives me a different result if I ask
  Select sum (a1), (a2) sum, sum (year) table where date between Xfecha and Xfecha2.
  
  Xfecha = July 31, 10 ' in SELECT 1º
  Xfecha: = 1 August 10 ' 2 choose
  Xfecha2: = 31 August 10 '
  
  The command select 1 must add the same lines as 2nd choice.
  
  Any idea?

  Make sure that there are no entries after the date of August 31, 2010. And also try to use the TRUNC function in select queries.

  Select sum(a1), sum(a2), sum(an) from table where trunc(fecha) > Xfecha;
  Select sum(a1), sum(a2), sum(an) from table where trunc(fecha) between Xfecha and Xfecha2;

• the poster of the Bookmarks window is too big (suddenly occurred with the new version). I can't figure out how to get the smaller screen. Zoom does not work on the display of the menu bookmark.

  It seems that there is a change in Firefox 4, where the width of the drop-down list is now determined by the length of the longest bookmark name in the displayed folder. Versions previous of Firefox would be to shorten a long name like this and add an ellipsis to indicate the name has been truncated.

  Sorry, I don't know how to change it otherwise that you advise to change the name of this long bookmark name and make it less wordy. Just scroll to the bottom of the list of bookmarks in this vast folder until see you the culprit, then right click on that bookmark and open properties and change the line of name at the top of this dialog box.

  Change the screen resolution

  1. Open display settings by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, on appearance and customization, personalization, and then clicking display settings.

  2. Under resolution, move the slider to the desired resolution, then click on apply.

• How can I reduce the size of the page? The txt is too big.  Where is the percentage scale?

  Hi jsamx,

  You can hold down the CTRL on your keyboard and use your scrolling the mouse to zoom in or or zoom-out of the page.

  Alternatively, you can go to see menu-> zoom-> zoom dynamic.

• Profile of files and records are too big - how to move the contents of other files/folders?

  I have a large Inbox and have moved all content in Thunderbird to a new folder I created under local folders. When I go on my windows file system and look in the profile folder, I found that the file/folder Inbox is always MASSIVE, even if I moved ALL the content in a completely new folder inside Thunderbird.

  Why is this? And how can I move all of my old emails to another folder inside Thunderbird as the original Watch windows file Explorer Inbox folder folder/now are low, with the new file/folder wholesale?

  Any help or advice appreciated...

  Right-click on the Inbox in Thunderbird in the folders pane, and then select Compact... Messages are not physically deleted from the folder until you do this.

  but when I press Enter, it returns the window moved to its ' original location - so the problem still exists.

  Also... When you press Alt - Space Bar, the control box is impossible to read the large font size does not fit in the size of the box.  I pressed Alt - M in any case, that gave me the cross and allowed me to move the window, but like I said "enter" returns just the prior position window.  Need more help. Thank you.

  Method 1.
  After pressing Alt + space + M you must hold the left key of the mouse and then place the window in place. Check if this is useful.

• date picker default value appears only not in the sql query

  I have a page as a table with a query similar to the following:
  
  Select emp_name, salary of emp_table where (hire_date) trunc = trunc (to_date (:P42_START_DATE))
  
  where P42_START_DATE is the name of a date picker.
  
  I put the date picker, "only when the current value in session state is null" and the value of being "select trunc (next_day(sysdate,'MON')-7) from dual;"-essentially the Monday of the current week, the type of source. I updated the date to 5 selector and the sequence of the region 10. Now, when I opened this page, no data gets pulled. I checked the source of the page and the value of the entry date picker is used to "November 17, 2008", but is not somehow reflected in the sql query.
  
  Data get retrieved if I put manually the date in the date picker, but I would like that it by default on Monday of this week. What I am doing wrong?

  Yes, that's correct - No. colon is required here as we don't not using the item as a variable binding, just name for the condition. In my tests, I put the calculation for:

  Name of article: P31_HIREDATE (put your P42_START_DATE here instead)
  Type: SQL query
  Point calculation: before header
  Calculation: SELECT TO_CHAR (TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'DAY'), 'DD-MON-RR') FROM DUAL

  My report SQL statement is:

  SELECT EMPNO,
  ENAME,
  HIREDATE
  FROM EMP
  WHERE NVL(HIREDATE, TRUNC(SYSDATE)) < TO_DATE(:P31_HIREDATE,'DD-MON-RR')
  

  My datepicker object has no special parameters - so:

  Change the date that you like or click Reset to clear the cache (the calculation will be then reset the date to the current date and refiltrer the report)
