Too slow to start-up SA60-332

Hello
I have a SA60-332, and it is very slow at startup. In August 2004, I bought the laptop with Windows XP Home edition is installed. I scanned the disc Defragmenter and scanned for viruses, but it seems that there is no problem. The computer seems to take ages at first upward after the connection and once all programs are loaded, it works fine.
Anyone know what to do to make it faster?

There are few opportunities to make the faster boot process. I always do the following steps:

1. check that you have selected to load at startup...
Click Start > run
type msconfig > ok
Go to the Startup tab and remove the 'tick' among the boxes of the programs that you don't need to run at startup. some of them might be causing a long loading time

2. turn off all hardware components in the device manager that you don't need (e.g., Modem, SD Card Controller)

If this doesn t work then let know us. :))

    Can I have more information on your mac? The info above, it looks like you have 4 GB of ram. What is your CP?

    It look like your computer is slow is because 98% of your PC is used for Hearthstone witch led to a driver failure, and your RAM has a lot to deal with. I would recommend strength leave Hearthstone when they surf the web, etc... Hope this helps, good luck to you.

    29,0 was too slow and too jerky. I returned to 28.0 and it was fine until 29 reinstalled on its own. I checked about: config and everything everywhere was assigned to prevent back but he did anyway. Sorry to his coarse, but what gives? I had deal with this as it has evolved. We should always be able to choose, right?

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

    It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

    Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission get full and unrestricted, access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

    Hey all,.

    Awhile back I posted this same problem and never had an acceptable answer or solution.  No other threads on this topic have contributed to the other.  For about 6 months now, I get this error message in Garageband reading projects.  The activity monitor shows a lot of free RAM and while GB uses 30% of the CPU, I have nothing else running, and therefore to have 60% of CPU still free.  I do not use an excessive amount of plugins, or even the tracks.  I tried to minimize the software titles, but even that seems to have no effect.  In the most recent case, I have only a race.

    To start with, here are my system specs:

    Mid-2012 15 "MacBook Pro

    OS 10.11.2 El Capitan

    GarageBand 10.1.0

    500 GB hard drive (200 GB free)

    2.3 GHz i7 processor

    8 GB 1600 RAM MHzDDR3

    I bought this computer with Snow Leopard and 4 GB of RAM and the latest version of Garageband.  I could play the tracks on the slopes and the use of plugins and never had this problem - never ONCE until the BONES and the GB have been upgraded.  Does anyone have new solutions for this?

    I have the same problem. He arrived only after an automatic update of the GB. Apple monitors this forum, that this message had no response in 3 days? GarageBand is now effectively useless for me.

    I have a macbook pro and have an audio backing track and track a guitar running, which stops after 10 seconds saying too slow disk etc. No other programs are running. The same file ran fine before the update of GB.

    Hello! Lately my MBPR 15 inch, early 2013, responds slowly. I currently have El Capitan 10.11.3 installed. The start-up took longer when I had installed Yosemite. After I login, Finder become spinning wheel for at least 10 seconds while it is slow to respond and asks to load time has increased. Randomly when I type, as I am now typing, he rowed for a short period of time, then becomes the spinning wheel.

  • Help! My Lenovo T60 Thinkpad too slow for life...

    So I got my Lenovo T60 for like a year and a half, and until two months ago, it worked well enough (he got the occasional fan at first error message place however) and then all of a sudden he started bluescreening, as it would not go past the Welcome screen. So I installed Windows 7 and it worked fine for 3 weeks, then again bluescreening. So I decided to go back to XP. Establishment lasted 2 days (no, I'm not exaggerating) and since then, it takes 30 minutes just to start. And although I can't do anything on this issue because it is too slow; a simple command such as opening a folder takes 10 minutes! Has it damaged something by installing Windows 7? What can I do to make it normal again? Thanks in advance

    Looks like a bad HD for me. You need to check the bad sectors, which can be easily made to initialize with a linux LiveCD/USB and by running disk utility it. It will report on the SMART status of your drive, and I suspect that your HD to be riddled with bad sectors, ergo long boot time and BSOD.

  • XP with SP 3 is slow to start

    XP with service pack 3 is very slow to start and very slugish

    I checked to see if there is any race in the Task Manager CPU running at 1-3% and nothing seems to be running

    Left click on startr > all programs, it takes 1-2 minutes to load

    I think that my problem started with the addition of AVG 2012 updates

    I run malewarebytes and cleaned the suspects

    The system works well in networks of safe mode

    AVG has been known occasionally to pipes. You can configure it to run more lean. If no joy, plan to run Avira free Antivirus in its place:

  • Software Photo of Smartphones blackBerry is too slow - I'm sorry

    I'm sad to say this, but the photo on my BB software was slowing down.

    I've tried everything.  I tried to use the list, the miniature eight method, vignette seven, the miniature of six, the five thumbnail, the thumbnail of four and three miniature scroll settings, but the regeneration time was too slow.  It was painful to watch the little poor BlackBerry suffer with a 350 small images file (12KB to 40 KB each) regenerate so slowly.  You can scroll to the bottom of the file and forget about BlackBerry and regenerate photo after photo, when you scroll to the top of the file.

    This isn't worth it for me.

    I searched best software for BB photo on the web and found nothing.  I spoke with a RIM tech support person and he confirmed my suspicions.  He has said, "he cannot not do it."  It cannot process large files fast.

    I asked the guy to RIM tech if I could change the size of the cache myself and he said no.  I asked if he could do something and he said no.

    I'm not a technical genius, but I think that the size of the cache is the problem because smaller files move well and efficiently.

    So I'm disappointed.

    I loved the BB, but it is a deal breaker for me.  I show a lot of pictures of the plant to my clients of landscape design, and I can't wait for the time between photos or files.

    Being a customer of AT & T saved however.  I could swap my telephone.

    I now have an iPhone and I'm totally happy and amazed at how fast the photo software is.  It's really impressive, more capable and more rapid.

    "BOLD" and the RIM BlackBerry needs a few adjustments here.

    In addition, the Office Synchronization Manager software is very disappointing.  It is aggravatingly slow to synchronize.  Why does it start from scratch every time?  Why doesn't it just look for what's new?  It shouldn't take five minutes to synchronize.  We are busy people, and we must go to our next appointment right after that we type in client info in our Office Outlook calendar.  We don't have time to wait five minutes while the BB takes five minutes for the new appointment info.

    Farewell... and think... I've been waiting since July 2008 for this thing finally get out.

    However, I'm not going to use the iPhone as a camera.  I'll use it as a phone/PDA that can show my clients any photo of plant that I've stored quickly (up to 3 500 images).

    The issue was speed.  The BlackBerry doesn't have in this regard.  The iPhone has excelled beyond expectations, because it is extremely fast.

    I have a nice Nikon SLR for photography and use Picasa too reduce the size of the images for the display of PDA.  So it wasn't the issue.

  • Download speed is too slow!

    Download speed is too slow to download Windows 8 pro. Windows 8 Upgrade Wizard is trying to download the file from the last two hours (almost 4 hours) and only 8% download completed. I've never seen it slow down the speed of download of the Microsoft Site.

    What type of Internet connection you are on, wired or wireless? If you are on a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection and try the download.

    Click Start, type: cmd

    Right-click on cmd, and then click Run as administrator

    At the command prompt, type the following:

    ipconfig/release

    then

    ipconfig/renew

    then

    ipconfig/flushdns

    leave the command prompt

    Click Start, type: folder

    Press enter

    Delete the contents of the temp folder

    Restart the computer and try to download again.

    If the problem persists, try resetting your router if you are connected to one.

    Turn off the router, unplug it, wait 10 minutes

    Plug it in again, power up once again

    Reconnect the Ethernet cable

    Try to download again

    What browser do you use?

    Try to rename or delete the Web installation folder and try again.

  • InDesign 2014 startup too slow

    Since June, Indesign 2014 has been opened too slow at startup.

    Wait usually about 5 minutes and if it is not yet open, stopped at the Task Manager and try again. The second time, the program usually opens more Rapids (1-2 minutes).

    All of this is troublesome. My computer is good enough for adobe software, the problem is in something else.

    Moreover, the former Indesign (DC) is still on my system too. Maybe he should be alone? In fact I don't use Indesign CC, so that I can uninstall it? There will be one any influence to the functioning of Indesign 2014?

    DSL is slower than a cable connection, but it is still much faster than a remote access.  If I check the site you have linked, even if it does not immediately come upwards, it takes a few seconds for the Flash to load using a cable connection, and it seems to be due to the image that has the file in it.  If you can optimize this image before importing it into the Flash file, then you could see much better load times.  To optimize the image you want to first adjust its dimensions to what is actually in the Flash file, then run it through an optimization of processer (Photoshop may help here) such that you reduce the size of file and then import it into Flash.
